Alan Di Fiore (sometimes Alan DiFiore) is an award-winning screenwriter.
Early life
DiFiore co-founded Pagliacci's Restaurant, located in Victoria, BC, Canada, with his friend, Howard Siegel. His mother was the creator of most of Pagliacci's Restaurant's outstanding menu items.
Career
DiFiore recently won his third Gemini Award for his work on the Da Vinci's Inquest television show. DiFiore also wrote and served as producer on the CBS series The Handler. His numerous writing credits include the CTV movie The Life and Milgaard, which won eight Geminis; the mini-series Vendetta; an HBO movie and episodes of Mom P.I. and Neon Rider.
The Bridge was inspired by former Toronto police union head, Craig Bromell. It's a procedural drama about a union leader fighting criminals on the street, his bosses, and corruption on the force. Executive Producers include Laszlo Barna, Bromell, Robert Wertheimer, Alan Di Fiore, and Adam J. Shully.

Money Monster
Money Monster is an upcoming American thriller film directed by Jodie Foster and written by Alan Di Fiore, Jim Kouf and Jamie Linden. The film stars George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Jack O'Connell, Dominic West and Caitriona Balfe. It follows a TV personality Lee Gates and a viewer Kyle Budwell, who takes Gates as a hostage after losing his family's money on a bad tip by Gates. Filming began on February 27, 2015 in New York City. TriStar Pictures is set to release the film on May 13, 2016.

Financial TV personality Lee Gates, who offers up stock advice on his hit show "Money Monster," is held hostage by a viewer, Kyle Budwell, who lost all of his money following a bad tip from Lee during his show.

George Clooney
George Timothy Clooney (born May 6, 1961) is an American actor, screenwriter, producer, director, and activist. He has received three Golden Globe Awards for his work as an actor and two Academy Awards, one for acting and the other for producing.
Clooney made his acting debut on television in 1978, and later gained wide recognition in his role as Dr. Doug Ross on the long-running medical drama ER from 1994 to 1999, for which he received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. While working on ER, he began attracting a variety of leading roles in films, including the superhero film Batman & Robin (1997) and the crime comedy Out of Sight (1998), in which he first worked with director Steven Soderbergh, who would become a long-time collaborator. In 1999, he took the lead role in Three Kings, a well-received war satire set during the Gulf War.
In 2001, Clooney's fame widened with the release of his biggest commercial success, the heist comedy Ocean's Eleven, the first of the film trilogy, a remake of the 1960 film with Frank Sinatra as Danny Ocean. He made his directorial debut a year later with the biographical spy comedy Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and has since directed the historical drama Good Night, and Good Luck (2005), the sports comedy Leatherheads (2008), the political drama The Ides of March (2011), and the war film The Monuments Men (2014).
