ICOM SM-8 Ham, Amateur Radio Desk Microphone. The Icom SM-8 desk mic has an electret condenser type mic element and gives clear tone over a wide variety of voice levels. The gooseneck may be adjusted to any angle. It features UP-DOWN tuning (on compatible Icom transceivers). There is a switch for PTT (push to talk) and also a lock feature. This mic has two line inputs (A/B) for operation from two transceivers. ICOM even includes the second mic cable that you can connect if needed.

According to DU5VFA that his portable unit Icom 02N was submerge and damage during the Super Typhoon Yolanda someone also advise that to spray a WD40 inside the unit... which is not a good advise... maybe if they advise to spray an LPS the better... Now it damage everything from the LCD, and cause not to control the keypad, NO RX, and insufficient power on TX...
