At Photokina 2016, Olympus announced the new Olympus OMD EM1 Mk II a camera that they’re trying to aim at the professional and high end enthusiast. The EM1 has been the company’s flagship line for a while now, and the last one was already very good. The new additions make it faster, more feature packed with new things like an improved image stabilization system, improved viewfinder, etc. When paired with all the company’s newest lenses, it makes for a great solution that the professional photographer can use in many instances.
This is about the new Olympus OMD EM1 MKII with a hands on look at the camera along with details of all the new and upgraded components. In this interview we cover high speed shooting, twin SD cards, New grip, new menu layout along with other improvements.
The Olympus OMD EM1 MKII also has the new 12-100mm F4 Pro Zoom Lens attached.

So this is the first ever Mitakon lens I've tested, and also the fastest aperture lens I've ever reviewed. f/0.95!!! This is a very fun and useful piece of kit. But can its image quality keep up with its fantastically wide aperture?
A few important things to note. This lens is only for mirrorless cameras, and it covers APS-C sensors - so it's ideal for Fuji X, Sony E, and Canon EOS M.
Also, most digital cameras have a quirk with the photo diodes in their sensors which mean they can't really receive the amount of light provided by an f/0.95 lens - in terms of light gathering, most sensors won't see any difference in a lens faster than f/1.1 - f/1.2. So any f/0.95 lens won't quite give you the blazingly fast you might expect. HOWEVER, depth-of-field is NOT affected: so, this lens will give you the very narrow depth-of field you would expect at 0.95. So, in terms of focal length and depth-of-field, it's the full-frame equivalent of a 52.5mm f/1.4 lens (on Canon EOS M, about 56mm f/1.5) - or thereabouts. But, you will get the kind of shutter speeds you'd see with an f/1.1-f/1.2 lens. Got that?

The EM1 has been the company’s flagship line for a while now, and the last one was already very good. The new additions make it faster, more feature packed with new things like an improved image stabilization system, improved viewfinder, etc. When paired with all the company’s newest lenses, it makes for a great solution that the professional photographer can use in many instances.

Mitakon 35mm f/0.95 Mark 'ii' lens review with samples

So this is the first ever Mitakon lens I've tested, and also the fastest aperture lens I've ever reviewed. f/0.95!!! This is a very fun and useful piece of kit....
So this is the first ever Mitakon lens I've tested, and also the fastest aperture lens I've ever reviewed. f/0.95!!! This is a very fun and useful piece of kit. But can its image quality keep up with its fantastically wide aperture?
A few important things to note. This lens is only for mirrorless cameras, and it covers APS-C sensors - so it's ideal for Fuji X, Sony E, and Canon EOS M.
Also, most digital cameras have a quirk with the photo diodes in their sensors which mean they can't really receive the amount of light provided by an f/0.95 lens - in terms of light gathering, most sensors won't see any difference in a lens faster than f/1.1 - f/1.2. So any f/0.95 lens won't quite give you the blazingly fast you might expect. HOWEVER, depth-of-field is NOT affected: so, this lens will give you the very narrow depth-of field you would expect at 0.95. So, in terms of focal length and depth-of-field, it's the full-frame equivalent of a 52.5mm f/1.4 lens (on Canon EOS M, about 56mm f/1.5) - or thereabouts. But, you will get the kind of shutter speeds you'd see with an f/1.1-f/1.2 lens. Got that?
