Hong Kong, a former British territory, is one of the most densely populated places in China and in the world. You’ll find quiet neighborhoods full of temples and a dazzling skyline loaded with shopping and dining opportunities.

Do you remember that scene in Pinocchio, when our favourite lying doll is convinced by honest John to take a vacation and then placed on a stage coach on its way to Pleasure Island where other misfit kids can do smoke cigars, drink and break things without any thought of consequences but are then turned into terrifying mini donkeys, the thought of which still sometime haunts my dreams by the way. What I missed in Hong Kong
We have been back in Hong Kong for a week already and managed to order McDonalds delivery twice... It is a blessing and also a curse!!!
It feels so surreal to be back again. I always get emotional walking around this apartment. Thankful for all the memories. We're cherishing each moment here. We have decided we will rent out this apartment but it probably won't be until a little while so don't worry. We still have too much junk in here so need to clear it all first. I know you guys missed this place. We already miss it a lot too. Not long till we return back to UK again T_T Looking forward to seeing the doggies again soon though!

Ferry to Hong Kong
Ferry to Hong Kong is a 1959 British melodrama/adventure film directed by Lewis Gilbert and starring Curd Jürgens, Sylvia Syms, Orson Welles and Jeremy Spenser.
Plot
Mark Conrad, a debonair Anglo-Austrian former playboy and junk owner, now an alcoholic down-and-out, is expelled from Hong Kong. He is placed on an ancient ferry boat, the Fa Tsan (known to its crew as the Fat Annie), despite the protests of the pompous owner, Captain Cecil Hart.
He travels to Macau, but is refused entry for the same reason he was expelled from Hong Kong. He engages the captain in a card game and wins the right to 'live' on board. His charming manner endears him to the crew and to an attractive teacher Liz Ferrers, a regular passenger.
The ferry is nearly wrecked in a typhoon, but Conrad wrests command from the cowardly and drunken captain and saves the ship. Drifting out of control near the Chinese coast, they are boarded by pirates, led by Chinese-American Johnny Sing-up. Sing-up reveals that Hart is a former conman who won the ship in a crooked card-game.

Hong Kong
Hong Kong (香港; "Fragrant Harbour"), officially Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, is an autonomous territory on the southern coast of China at the Pearl River Estuary and the South China Sea. Hong Kong is known for its skyline and deep natural harbour. It has a land area of 1104 km2 and shares its northern border with Guangdong Province of Mainland China. With around 7.2 million inhabitants of various nationalities, Hong Kong is one of the world's most densely populated metropolises.
After the First Opium War (1839–42), Hong Kong became a British colony with the perpetual cession of Hong Kong Island, followed by Kowloon Peninsula in 1860 and a 99-year lease of the New Territories from 1898. Hong Kong remained under British control for about a century until the Second World War, when Japan occupied the colony from December 1941 to August 1945. After the Surrender of Japan, the British resumed control. In the 1980s, negotiations between the United Kingdom and the China resulted in the 1984 Sino-British Joint Declaration, which provided for the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong on 30 June 1997. The territory became a special administrative region of China with a high degree of autonomy on 1 July 1997 under the principle of one country, two systems. Disputes over the perceived misapplication of this principle have contributed to popular protests, including the 2014 Umbrella Revolution.

What I missed in Hong Kong We have been back in Hong Kong for a week already and managed to order McDonalds delivery twice... It is a blessing and also a curse!!! It feels so surreal to be back again. I always get emotional walking around this apartment. Thankful for all the memories. We're cherishing each moment here. We have decided we will rent out this apartment but it probably won't be until a little while so don't worry. We still have too much junk in here so need to clear it all first. What I missed in Hong Kong
We have been back in Hong Kong for a week already and managed to order McDonalds delivery twice... It is a blessing and also a curse!!!
It feels so surreal to be back again. I always get emotional walking around this apartment. Thankful for all the memories. We're cherishing each moment here. We have decided we will rent out this apartment but it probably won't be until a little while so don't worry. We still have too much junk in here so need to clear it all first. I know you guys missed this place. We already miss it a lot too. Not long till we return back to UK again T_T Looking forward to seeing the doggies again soon though!
