Turrican is a 1990 video game programmed and designed by Manfred Trenz. It was first developed for the Commodore 64 by Rainbow Arts, but was ported to other systems later. In addition to concept design and character creation, Trenz personally programmed Turrican on the Commodore 64. A sequel, Turrican II, followed 1991 for the Commodore 64 and other platforms.

I know we already have a Super Turrican longplay (made by Retroplay) on our website. This longplay is made solid, but shows almost none of the numerous secrets.
So I decided to make a new longplay. It contains all the hidden areas and the best path to all extra lifes and diamonds (and there are tons).
It really took quite a while, until everything was the way I've imagined. But now I am quite happy with it. I hope you like it. Have fun !

Finally. People have requested Turrican for a pretty damn long time, and even though I'm kind of crap at the games...well, here it is! Finally. This video covers pretty much all the Turrican games out there, mostly focusing on the Amiga versions - all the three big games are there, Super Turrican on the NES and SNES, a whole bunch of ports...and yes, there's room for Universal Soldier too! Zeus presents the "ULTIMATE" Amiga Turrican II - The Final Fight upload (un-emulated), a true classic from the golden era of amiga gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.

Well there could only be 1 game that should follow my ultimate Turrican upload and that of course is it's sequel Turrican II - The Final Fight and again upload the most complete, ripped apart ultimate Turrican II longplay ever seen on youtube and of course unemulated.
This upload reveals every hidden extra life (although not all collected), every area where any crystals are lying and for a bonus i have included the entire in-game stage soundtrack at the end of this video (2:00:32).
I have seen all Amiga footage before of Turrican II on youtube and none of them has uploaded all it's secrets, there is always something they've missed, so i decided to get 2 months practice in after 15yrs not playing it and produce this upload of one of the most fantastic shooters ever on the great Amiga, no cheats were used.
Fantastic gameplay, beautiful smooth animation, brilliant soundtrack and great graphics makes this a never forgotten masterpiece sequel.
My perfect Amiga Turrican game would be a combination of the two: world 1 T2, world 2 T1, world 3 T1, world 4 T2, world 5 T1.

The sequel and considered by many, the best 'Turrican' ever made, 'Turrican II' showed what Factor 5 could pull of when they had the time combined with the previous experience with 'Turrican'. The end result is simply a dream arcade game, with even a reference to 'Katakis' throw in for good measure. Once again, Chris Hüelsbeck proved his skill, by making me plug my Amiga sound output to my stereo, so I could tape the songs and listen to them in my walkman.

Story
The lost colony of Alterra is a completely man-made lifeworld abandoned long ago in a nearby galaxy. Alterra is actually five colonies in one. Each self-contained habitat has been separately bio-engineered by a powerful ecosystem generation network known as a Multiple Organism Unit Link. MORGUL, for short. Early colonists used MORGUL to render Alterra inhabitable. But a cataclysmic quake severed all system interface functions, and MORGUL murderously rebelled. The few colonists lucky enough to escape told a grim tale of a higher intelligence gone berserk.
For generations, mankind sought a return to Alterra. Finally, genetic science created a saviour: Turrican, a mutant warrior, bio-engineered for the task of planetary reclamation. In the meantime, MORGUL has diligently twisted Alterran life forms to his brutal, destructive purposes. Thus, Turrican's challenges consist of eliminating hostile organisms from Alterra's five multi-level worlds and, finally, destroying the three faces of MORGUL.

A500 Turrican II - Intro
The sequel and considered by many, the best 'Turrican' ever made, 'Turrican II' showed what Factor 5 could pull of when they had the time combined with the previous experience with 'Turrican'. The end result is simply a dream arcade game, with even a reference to 'Katakis' throw in for good measure. Once again, Chris Hüelsbeck proved his skill, by making me plug my Amiga sound output to my stereo, so I could tape the songs and listen to them in my walkman.

The sequel and considered by many, the best 'Turrican' ever made, 'Turrican II' showed what Factor 5 could pull of when they had the time combined with the previous experience with 'Turrican'. The end result is simply a dream arcade game, with even a reference to 'Katakis' throw in for good measure. Once again, Chris Hüelsbeck proved his skill, by making me plug my Amiga sound output to my stereo, so I could tape the songs and listen to them in my walkman.
