The Piasa (/ˈpaɪ.əsɔː/ PY-ə-saw) or Piasa Bird is a Native American dragon depicted in one of two murals painted by Native Americans on bluffs (cliffsides) above the Mississippi River. Its original location was at the end of a chain of limestone bluffs in Madison County, Illinois at present-day Alton, Illinois. The original Piasa illustration no longer exists; a newer 20th-century version, based partly on 19th-century sketches and lithographs, has been placed on a bluff in Alton, Illinois, several hundred yards upstream from its origin. The location of the present-day mural is at 38.898055, -90.19915. The limestone rock quality on the new site is unsuited for holding an image, and the painting must be regularly restored. The original site of the painting was a high-quality (6–8 foot thick) layer of lithographic limestone, which was predominantly quarried away in the late 1870s by the Mississippi Lime Company.

Alton is a city on the Mississippi River in Madison County, Illinois, United States, about 15 miles (24 km) north of St. Louis, Missouri. The population was 27,865 at the 2010 census. It is a part of the Metro-East region of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area in Southern Illinois. It is famous for its limestone bluffs along the river north of the city, for its role preceding and during the American Civil War, and as the hometown of jazz musician Miles Davis and Robert Wadlow, the tallest known person in history. It was the site of the last Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas debate in October 1858. The former state penitentiary here was used during the war to hold up to 12,000 Confederate prisoners of war.
Although Alton once was growing faster than its sister city of St. Louis, a coalition of St. Louis businessmen planned to build a competing town to stop its expansion and bring business to St. Louis. The result was Grafton, Illinois.
Many blocks of housing in Alton were built in the Victorian Queen Anne style; they represent a prosperous period in the river city's history. At the top of the hill in the commercial area, several stone churches and a fine city hall also represent the city's wealth during its good times based on river traffic and shipping. It was a commercial center for a large agricultural area. Numerous residences on hills have sweeping views of the Mississippi River.

Piazza San Marco (Italian pronunciation: [ˈpjattsa sam ˈmarko]; Venetian: Piasa San Marco), often known in English as St Mark's Square, is the principal public square of Venice, Italy, where it is generally known just as la Piazza ("the Square"). All other urban spaces in the city (except the Piazzetta and the Piazzale Roma) are called campi ("fields"). The Piazzetta ("little Piazza/Square") is an extension of the Piazza towards the lagoon in its south east corner (see plan). The two spaces together form the social, religious and political centre of Venice and are commonly considered together. This article relates to both of them.

Sashays are great to prep for leaps, and it's a great way to teach children how to plie into the floor, and use the floor and your feet as a traveling step. Here's how to break it down. Let me show you what it looks like. Arms out, or you can have your arms up, or arms front. There are many deviations of the port de bra. Let's do arms out first. Sashay. Sashay means to chase, so one leg is chasing the other across the floor. So you slide one out, then chase it. Slide one out, then chase it. Make sure your feet are pointed as well. Let me show you with the arms like this. Plie nice fourth position, then you jump up in ...

Recently heard about this incredible waterfall in of all places, Dupo, Illinois. Not knowing quite what to expect, I took my videocamera along just for some trial footage to see if anything was worth shooting. Imagine my surprise when I first laid eyes on this wonderful springfed waterfall. How I wished I had brought my tripod for better footage! Instead I used whatever I could find, including a big old rock to steady my camera but be warned most of this is handheld. But even shaky footage will serve the real story and purpose at hand. The spring and waterfall is in jeopardy of being destroyed. Here's the story: On the property at the base of the falls is a public place named "The Falling Springs Conservation Club." It's been there since the mid 1940's serving up great food, dri...

When niggas snort it boy, they be passin' it to they girls
Wrap it up in Ziploc, back it up and twirl
Send money to the pent. Mac and C be home soon
Bitches start snitchin' I'ma send 'em to the moon
I could sell a hoe a green, front a hustler a lake
I could never fall off, I'm the "Ghetto Bill" Gates
[Chorus]
[Verse 2]: Curren$y
These lil' niggas can't take it anymore
I push through the club iced out, low key with my P. Miller galore
Hoes breakin' down the doors, uhh

With a chop of lead on the seat, that'll make you flip
My alias, believe me, Doc Holliday
If it's beef, I'm like AIDS, I'll never go away
[Chorus]
[Verse 4]: Master P
I might be something sly but I won't forget
Tell Double X-L they can, suck my dick
I might be country but I'm ghetto rich
And when it comes to grindin', I started this shit
I put the G in Ghetto, nigga, call me Ghetto Fab
Started with some quarters then I flipped it to some halves
Put the Coke in Coca-Cola, no baking soda
Call me Pistol P, cuz I slang them granola's
[Chorus]
[Verse 5]: T-Bo
I guess them thangs just got dropped off, the block's hot like hot sauce
Some cop cars keep passin' I promise y'all they not lost
Convicted felons noticed when they tryin' to knock ya socks off
Go braggin' to them hatin' bitches, find how much ya watch cost
Loose lips, sank ships, bitch, so watch what you sayin'

[Chorus]
[Verse 6]: Magic

Now I'm on two birds I'ma flip (one more time)
And I'ma cop the bitch you left behind
(I'm tryin', I'm hustlin') don't trust me when I'm broke
And I don't discriminate I want the money and a goat
Yeah, better hope I wait, I'm ass out (things will get bloody)

[Chorus]
[Outro]: Master P
