The project was founded by young Producer/Composer Tushar Lall, who is the brains behind arranging and composing the Indianised adaptations for the amazing musicians to replicate and perform. It started together along with percussionist Samay Lalwani and flautist, Prathamesh Salunke and now includes a lot of other mermbers - Sri Sandeep Mishra (Sarangi) , Sri Abrar Ahmed (Santoor) and many more. The group’s first video was a cover of the Game of Thrones theme song which got an overwhelming response. Musically it was sound, however, they felt the need to step-up the visuals and collaborated with friends Tuhin and Amitesh Mukherjee, who ramped up the visuals of the covers and are still behind most of the amazing videos It is an attempt to knit classical Indian tones into the script of western music to showcase the beauty of Indian Music. It is a one of a kind concept where fusion of Indo-western styles of music produces a concoction which is deeply emotive as well as thought-provoking showing that music transcends boundaries and has no language. The Indian Jam Project has received a lot of appreciation and love from all over the world for their fresh take on improvising western music with an Indian touch. Their work has been appreciated by Emmy Award winner, Michael Price, BBC Sherlock Producer/Actor- Mark Gatiss, legendary percussionist - Karsh Kale and many more!
