Plot: A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus-the demigod son of Zeus-is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld. Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus' godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramírez), switch loyalty and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans' strength grows stronger as Zeus' remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth. Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon's demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

Quotes:
[from trailer]::Zeus: You will learn someday that being half human, makes you stronger than a god.
[from trailer]::Hades: You're sweating like a human... next it will be tears.
Perseus: [chains the Chimera] What are you waiting for? Burn me!
Zeus: Why are you doing this?::Hades: You want me to say it, brother? You want me to say I'm afraid? Doesn't that go without saying? When mortals die, their souls go somewhere - there's no place where gods go when they die! There's nothing, just oblivion...
Andromeda: We may not be gods. But we do what people say can't be done, we hope when there isn't any... whatever odds we face, we prevail.
Hephaestus: One last godly deed... [takes on Ares]
[stuck in a labyrinth]::Perseus: We can't do this...::Agenor: [smacks him] Two days ago, I was locked up in a cell trying, I admit, to escape being the son of Poseidon! Look at me now: in the bowels of Tartarus, saving the universe. Just follow the Navigator.
Zeus: Hades, I am so sorry for having done this to you. Can you ever forgive me?::Hades: Why do you ask this?::Zeus: Because I forgive you, for this.
Zeus: Thank you, my son.
Hades: All my power is spent. Who knows, I may be stronger without it...

We lived off you're land, that can be replaced. We did not kill anybody.::Odysseus: Your crime is that you tried to steal my world. The world I built with my hands, and my sweat...::Eurymachus: Now, anyone...::Odysseus: And my blood. The world that I shared with a woman who bore me my son, and no one will ever take that from me. I do not need you now, I can do anything.::Poseidon: Odysseus, why do you defy me?::Odysseus: Who are you?::Poseidon: It is I Poseidon, god of the wine dark sea. You have forfeited for forgetting how I helped you.::Odysseus: Help me? For ten years you played with us as toys. For ten years you let blood spill to your shores.::Poseidon: But it was my serpent who silenced Laocoon or your horse was doomed, yet you refuse to give thanks. You forget, a man is nothing without the gods. You will suffer for this offense. For your arrogance, you will drift on my sea for an eternity, never again will you reach the shores of Ithaca.::Odysseus: You cannot stop me!::Poseidon: You will suffer.
Cyclops: What is it?::Odysseus: It's wine, that's the drink of the gods. Here. Try.::Cyclops: I like it. Another. What is your name?::Odysseus: My name?::Polites: He is the lord of [is silenced before he can reveal Odysseus's identity]::Odysseus: My name is Nobody. No body.::Cyclops: Alright Nobody, in the morning you will tell me more secrets after I eat.
Aeolus: Ha ha ha! Are you surprised? Admit it! Ha ha! I can see you're surprised.::Odysseus: Who are you?::Aeolus: I am Aeolus, God of Wind. This is my island where soft breezes and raging tempests all begin.::Odysseus: Well, I'm honored, but why do you not allow me to drink?::Aeolus: Because I know you, Odysseus, Lord of Ithaca. Do not be afraid. Step through the water. I have something for you. Come along!::Odysseus: You know me?::Aeolus: Everyone knows of Odysseus, the great hero who built the Trojan Horse. But, few Greeks know that you're the only one who can't go home.::Odysseus: Poseidon thinks he can stop me.::Aeolus: Poseidon, Poseidon! Poseidon this, Poseidon that! Poseidon's a bully! L'oncle Irvin: [Following through with his suggestion that a solution might be found found in an analysis of Krank's "tears"] Once upon a time there was an inventor so gifted that he could create life. A truly remarkable man.::Krank: [Sarcastically] A fairy tale! Tears are welling in my eyes.::L'oncle Irvin: Since he had no wife or children he decided to create them in his laboratory. He started with wife and fas into the most beautiful princess in the world. Alas, a wicked genetic fairy cast a spell on the inventor so much so that the princess was only knee height or less. He then cloned six children in his own image, faithful, hardworking. They were so alike no one could tell them apart. But fate tricked him again, giving them all sleeping sickness. Craving someone to talk to he grew in a fish-tank a poor migraine-ridden brain. And then at last he created his masterpiece more intelligent then the most intelligent man on Earth.::[Krank freezes]::L'oncle Irvin: But alas the inventor made a serious mistake. While his creation was intelligent he never ever had a dream. You can't image how his sadness made him quickly he grow old.::[Krank sheds a single teardrop]::Clone: [Seeing it] Boss!... There!... Won't you explain why all those children only have nightmares?::L'oncle Irvin: Because you are their nightmare. You could persecute all the children in the world, but there's one thing you'll never have.::Krank: What?::L'oncle Irvin: A soul.::Krank: Because you believe you have one? You don't even have a body. The one who created us made us all monsters.::L'oncle Irvin: No Krank, you're wrong. You are the only monster here.::Krank: [Distressed] Be Quiet! He is the only one responsible for that, I say I'm innocent. I'm innocent!::Krank: [Shuffles away and then turns back with regained composure] In any case, I thank you for your help.
