Arm Brace for the Flycam Nano or Glidecam Pro and HD products
Hi there Cheesycam readers here is quick idea to create a small arm brace for use with the Flycam Nano steadycam unit that Emm reviewed a few days ago. The design is very rough and I made it largely from bits and pieces I had on hand so feel free to greatly improve on the design. Trust me you won't hurt my feelings. Thanks Emm for yet another great product review. To see more product reviews and information about getting the most out of your DSLR for HD video please visit Emm at: cheesycam.com

Tunze Nano Wavebox 6206 Product Demo
In today's MarineDepot.com video, we're going to take a look at the Tunze Nano Wavebox 6206. The Nano Wavebox is a very effective way to generate waves inside your aquarium. It can move a large volume of water with a single pump using minimal electricity. The type of flow that Tunze Nano Wavebox creates is very natural, similar to what corals would experience in the ocean on wild reefs. The pump provides extra circulation in and around the rockwork inside your aquarium without the need for additional powerheads. This eliminates dead spots where poor water circulation can cause detritus build up. The system operates using a single Tunze Stream pump housed inside a plastic box that operates at a pulsing frequency. The frequency is during setup based on your aquarium's size. You can change the frequency based on your coral growth or changes in your aquascape as time goes on. Everything you'll need to create waves in your aquarium is included in the box, so no additional parts or accessories are required for installation. You'll get the Wavebox 6206, Wavecontroller 6091, magnetic mount and optical sensor for night mode operation. The unit is rated for aquariums between 39 and 158 gallons, although you can add an additional wavebox should you move up to a larger aquarium down the road. Watch the video to see how easy it is to setup the unit and program the controller. If you have any questions about the Tunze Nano Wavebox 6206, please leave us a comment below or call 1-800-566 ...

GOLDEN AGE - SOMEWHERE
OFFICIAL SELECTION: Vimeo Awards 2012 (experimental category last 4), Soho shorts, Onedotzero, Alphaville.
Within 'Somewhere' We are transported to a time where the boundaries between what is real and what is simulated are blurred. We live online and download places to relax, parks and shopping malls. We can even interact with our friends as if they were in the same room with simulated tele-presence. Everyone is connected and immersed in nanorobotic replications of any kind of object or furnishings, downlodable on credit based systems. Distance and time become as alien as the 'offline' The local becomes the global and the global becomes the local. Consumer based capitalism has changed forever. A truly 'glocolised' world. The singularity is near.
The film places us into this vision, observing an average inhabitant within the ever changing environment of the latest SimuHouse. From a painting to a park and from a telephone call to a shopping mall. That is until there is a leek in the system and everything malfunctions. The film concludes with the house being forced to reset, giving the character and viewer a stark reminder that nothing is 'real' even her dog, which re-materialises in front of her.

iPad Sprocket Pocket
A 5-minute film that shows how-to build your very own wearable iPad Sprocket Pocket. Watch the whole film and try to find the easter egg!
This was a MAYAmake 24-hour project.
The Sprocket Pocket, and the MAYA Sprocket iPad application were designed, prototyped, tested, manufactured in limited quantity (9 in first 24 hours were built and 4 were given away at an Apple Store just for fun to random bike riding iPad owners), packaged, and deployed all within 24 hours before the launch of the iPad.
Yes this is a silly example of having fun with an iPad. It's also an example of "precycling" where we try to picture how you could recycle products after they aren't expensive objects of desire. A $600 iPad today, will be a $300 one in a year, and a $50 dollar one a year after that, and soon you'll be finding spare iPads in the cushions of your couch or in your cereal boxes as prizes for choosing NanoCrispies as your zap, spackle, and zop choice in the future.
So once that happens what do you do? We suggest wearing it.
The first day we wore these around town people suggested all sorts of other ideas:
- Put it on the front as a networked programmable t-shirt graphic
- Wear it with a group to have coordinated networked protest graphics when you go on your next march
- Give it to crossing guards
- Sell advertisement on people (afterall isn't that how the world goes round?)
- Broadcast coordinated imagery across a crowd of people at your next big football game to make a giant mosaic on everyone's t-shirts
- Hang an iphone with the camera pointing outward from your back and an iPad in a Sprocket Pocket on your front and you've got a window right through your body where the sun shines through
- Put one on the front and back of your shirt and use it as a touch, tilt, tag football game (remember by this time iPads sell for $1 and are disposable)
- Wear it on your hand and play hacky-sack pinball with a group of friends
- Mount it on your handlebars and have a GPS dashboard
For more information, to download the patterns or just find out what the heck we're talking about, check out: http://www.maya.com/sprocket

[NEW] iPod Touch 5G & Nano 7G ADVERT/COMMERCIAL/PROMO/TRAILER
FIRST PROMO ON YOUTUBE! Here is the first look at the new iPod Touch 5G and the New Ipod Nano 7th Gen advert, this was released on the 12/9/12. Enjoy! 7th gen iPod nano specs The latest iPod nano is the thinnest nano ever, measuring just 5.4mm thick; a full 38% thinner than the last nano. The iPod nano has a 2.5 inch multitouch display, but it only has firmware support (once again, no app add-ons, folks). The new iPod nano will come in seven colors: aluminum, black, purple, green, blue, yellow, and red. Additionally, the new nano has an FM tuner with DVR-like pause and rewind functionality. The tiny device also packs in a pedometer and Bluetooth for accurate fitness measurements and wireless audio streaming. The 7th gen iPod nano will allow for up to 30 hours of music playback, and it has 16GB of solid state memory. The 16GB 7th gen iPod nano will be available in October for $149.99. 5th gen iPod touch specs The 5th generation iPod touch continues the thinner-is-better design mantra, measuring 6.1mm thick and weighing just 88 grams. Modeled after the iPhone 5, the new iPod touch has an identical display 4-inch, 326ppi Retina Display with 1136 x 640 resolution. The device sports an A5 processor that's said to have 7x faster processing than the previous generation. The 5th gen iPod touch has up to 40 hours of music playback and up to 8 hours of video. Also, this iPod touch has a 5-megapixel iSight camera with backside illumination (1080p capable), as well as a frontside ...
