Dominic Haakon Myrtvedt Purcell (born 17 February 1970) is an Australian actor of Norwegian, Irish and English heritage, best known for his role as Lincoln Burrows in Prison Break, the title character in John Doe, and Dracula in Blade: Trinity.
Purcell was born in Wallasey, Wirral, which, until 1974 when the county of Merseyside was formed, was part of Cheshire. At the age of two, Dominic and his family moved from England to Sydney's Bondi and later moved to the Western Suburbs. He is also of Irish and Norwegian descent. Purcell attended Blaxland East Public School, and later studied at Blaxland High School and St Dominic's College, Penrith. After becoming a landscape gardener, he soon tired of the profession and, while watching the war movie Platoon, decided to become an actor.[citation needed]
He eventually attended the Australian Theatre for Young People and then later enrolled at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts where he met his future wife Rebecca and studied with Hugh Jackman.[citation needed] With his wife, Rebecca Williamson, he had a son Joseph (b. August 12th 1999), daughter Audrey (b. January 30th 2001), and twins Lily-Rose and Augustus (b. July 7th 2003).
Tricia Janine Helfer (born April 11, 1974) is a Canadian model and actress. She is best known for playing the humanoid Cylon Number Six in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica television series. She has also been actively involved in different charity events, from animal rescue to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Helfer was born in the rural community of Donalda in Stettler County, Alberta. She was raised by Dennis and Elaine Helfer on the family's grain farm with her sister Tammy, and was discovered by modeling agency scout Kelly Streit at age 17 while standing in line at a local movie theatre. Helfer is of German, English, Swedish, and Norwegian descent.
In 1992, she won Ford Models' Supermodel of the World Contest and was subsequently signed to the Elite Model Management and later to Trump Model Management. Tricia retired from fashion modeling in 2002 and states that all her shoots since then are related to projects or product endorsements. She has appeared in ad campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Versace, Chanel, and Giorgio Armani. Helfer has walked for top fashion shows such as Carolina Herrera, Christian Dior, Claude Montana, Givenchy, John Galliano, and Dolce & Gabbana. Helfer has graced the covers of Flare, Amica, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and Vogue, among others. She also regularly appeared in photo shoots by Maxim magazine, was the magazine's wall calendar girl for 2005, and was ranked #57 on the Maxim's Hot 100 Women of 2007. She also posed topless for the February 2007 issue of Playboy.
Thomas Grant Gustin (born January 14, 1990), better known as Grant Gustin, is an American theater and television actor from Norfolk, Virginia.
During his high school years, Grant attended the Governor's School for the Arts program in Norfolk, Virginia for Musical Theatre. In 2008, he graduated from Granby High School and went on to attend the BFA Music Theatre Program at Elon University in North Carolina for two years.
He left school to take the role of Baby John in the Broadway Revival Tour of West Side Story, and performed with the tour from its opening on September 30, 2010 through September 23, 2011.
On November 8, 2011, he debuted on the television series Glee as Sebastian Smythe, an openly gay member of the Dalton Academy Warblers. Gustin won the recurring role of Sebastian, a promiscuous and scheming character, after "an exhaustive, weeks-long casting search". He began filming the role early on Monday, September 26, 2011, after having finished his final West Side Story performance the Friday night before.
