This bleach bath method also works if you want to get rid of old almost washed out hair colors on bleached hair like faded dyes or pastels.
Steps that works for me
• For dark roots use a bleach in a "platinum/ice/silver shade". It means it often contains some kind of developer with bleach with more volume. Or you can get bleach and developer seperately from beauty stores and do the volume mixing yourself. I can't get any of that in Sweden so I use box bleach.
For light roots you probably don't need as much volume. I always leave my mix in for 50-60 minutes. Don't go over the time limit they have on the brand of bleach that your using. Mine says 60 minutes at most.
• For the bleach bath, I use as much product as I need for my hair. I need an entire box for my hair since I have a lot of it. Then I add as much shampoo as I need when I wash my hair, and then add a little bit more and mix. My hair only needed 5-10 minutes for it to reach a platinum shade.
• Use a platinum/silver toner or shampoo if your roots turn yellow. You might need to give it a few washes until all the yellow is gone.

This bleach bath method also works if you want to get rid of old almost washed out hair colors on bleached hair like faded dyes or pastels.
Steps that works for me
• For dark roots use a bleach in a "platinum/ice/silver shade". It means it often contains some kind of developer with bleach with more volume. Or you can get bleach and developer seperately from beauty stores and do the volume mixing yourself. I can't get any of that in Sweden so I use box bleach.
For light roots you probably don't need as much volume. I always leave my mix in for 50-60 minutes. Don't go over the time limit they have on the brand of bleach that your using. Mine says 60 minutes at most.
• For the bleach bath, I use as much product as I need for my hair. I need an entire box for my hair since I have a lot of it. Then I add as much shampoo as I need when I wash my hair, and then add a little bit more and mix. My hair only needed 5-10 minutes for it to reach a platinum shade.
• Use a platinum/silver toner or shampoo if your roots turn yellow. You might need to give it a few washes until all the yellow is gone.
