The Ryzza Mae Show is a
Philippine talk show presented by
Ryzza Mae Dizon. It premiered on April 8,
2013 at 11:30 am. The show was first announced by
Vic Sotto during the live airing of
Eat Bulaga! on April 1, 2013.
Its pilot episode aired on April 8, 2013 with
Susan Roces as its first guest.
Ryzza Mae Dizon (born June 12,
2005) is a
Filipina child actress. She rose to prominence in
2012 when she won that year's edition of
Little Miss Philippines.
Currently, she is the youngest host in the present roster of presenters in the variety show Eat Bulaga!.
In 2012, Dizon applied for the opening of Little Miss Philippines where at the start she lost but was called back competed again for a wildcard. Since then, she was able to compete and was entitled as Little Miss
Philippines 2012. Her win marked the start of her career in the Philippine showbiz industry. She is currently one of the cast of Eat Bulaga!, a hit noontime variety show in the Philippines.
Dizon is also part of the
2012 Metro Manila Film Festival entry film Si Agimat, si Enteng Kabisote at si Ako where she played a dwarf.
The biographical story of Dizon was featured in the weekly anthology
Magpakailanman. The episode focused on the life of Dizon before she became a successful child actress in the Philippines. The episode garnered 26.7% of audience shares beating its rival show
Maalaala Mo Kaya with 20.9%.
In 2013, Dizon co-stars
Vampire Ang Daddy Ko wherein it is her first sitcom debut.
On April 1, 2013, during a live airing of Eat Bulaga! in a segment
Juan for All, All for Juan: Bayanihan of D' Pipol, Vic Sotto announced that Dizon will have her own show titled as The Ryzza Mae Show which was first aired on April 8, 2013.
Eat Bulaga! is a noon-time variety show in the Philippines produced by
Television And
Production Exponents
Inc. (TAPE) and aired by
GMA Network. The show broadcasts from
The New TAPE Studios (
Eastside Studio) at the
GMA Broadway Centrum in
New Manila,
Quezon City. Eat Bulaga! is aired
Weekdays at 12:00pm to 2:30 pm and Saturdays at 11:30am to 2:30pm (
PHT). The show is also broadcast worldwide through
GMA Pinoy TV. The name approximately translates to "Lunchtime
Surprise!".[1] The show celebrated its 34th year on
Philippine television on
July 31, 2013,[2] holding the record of being the longest-running noontime variety program on air in the history of local television.[3]
Its first overseas version was
Eat Bulaga! Indonesia, which premiered on
Indonesia's
SCTV network on July 16, 2012.[
