HARD with STYLE

HARD with STYLE is a Dutch hardstyle record label founded in 2011 by Headhunterz. HARD with STYLE has a few of artists like Mekanikal, Rebourne, Audiofreq and Crystal Lake. At the beginning, Headhunterz made pocasts under this name HARD with STYLE. It quickly became the one of the most popular electronic music podcasts. Until October 2013 Headhunterz released his first release, The Leaked EP via HARD with STYLE. Now, they make podcasts with other hardstyle artists and make songs under 'HARD with STYLE Origins' via this record label.

Hard (music festival)

Hard is a national music festival, music cruise and concert brand founded by Gary Richards in 2007. The event line-ups consist of alternative and electronic acts and emerging talents. The first Hard Music Festival was held on December 31, 2007 in Downtown Los Angeles and featured Justice, Peaches and 2 Live Crew. Hard is best known for the Hard Summer Music Festival and Hard Haunted Mansion, though also runs several smaller events and once-off shows. Hard is sometimes called "Hardfest" by fans, based on the event's website (hardfest.com) and social media shortcuts. Additional Hard brands include the Hard Summer Tour, Hard 13, Turkey Soup, and the Holy Ship! electronic music cruise. Live Nation Entertainment acquired Hard in 2012.

Project One

Project One was a musical project between two hardstyle artists, Headhunterz and Wildstylez. One album has been produced, Project One: The Album. The album was made over the course of three months in a Dutch record studio, finishing approximately one track each week. Album samplers were released afterwards, featuring the full versions of each album track, and a remix release, were released under Scantraxx Reloaded. Headhunterz still occasionally collaborates with Wildstylez.

Headhunterz

Willem Rebergen, better known by his stage name Headhunterz, is a Dutch DJ and music producer. He also done voice-acting for several movies and TV series. He kicked off his career in 2005, and grew into one of the biggest names in hardstyle music, becoming a major contribution to its growing popularity worldwide. He has performed at major events and festivals, including Qlimax, Defqon.1, Q-Base, inQontrol, Decibel and Hard Bass and has performed at popular electronic music festivals Electric Daisy Carnival and Tomorrowland. For the majority of his career Headhunterz has released his work on Scantraxx through his own sub-label, Scantraxx Reloaded, but in 2013 he started his own record label, HARDwithSTYLE. He signed with major North American electronic dance music label, Ultra Music in 2013 and left his own label in 2015, heading for a different musical direction.

Biography

Early Life & Career

Willem Rebergen was born on 12 September 1985 in Veenendaal, Netherlands. From an early age Rebergen had an interest in music. Having struggled with bullying at school, Rebergen looked for a distraction to make himself happy and so joined a local kid's choir. From here it was where he had his first exposure to a professional studio, recording Christmas albums with the choir. This experience left Rebergen interested and inspired by the process of creating music from the other side of the studio. In 2003, while working at a clothing store he was offered tickets to Qlimax from friends who could not attend. This was his first exposure to hardstyle music. This experience gave him the impetus to forge a music career and in his own words from then on he was "devoted to hardstyle and from that point interested in how to make the music. I wanted to make that kind of music."
