Boost Posts to Reach More People

Boosting posts is the best way to reach more people.
With a boosted post, you can:
- Reach more people who like your Page—and their friends
- Reach all-new audiences based on location, age, gender and interests
- Easily set a budget and schedule for your post
Get people talking by boosting your posts
When you post to your Page, you can click the Boost Post button to get your post to a larger audience.
With a boosted post, more people see your update, photo, video, event, offer and more. And you’ll reach more of the people who like your Page, their friends and all-new audiences in their News Feeds.
Choose who sees your boosted posts
When you click the Boost Post button, you can choose to reach the people who like your Page and their friends.
You can also reach other audiences by location, age, gender and interests. Just make selections about the type of audience that should see your post and tell us what things they might be interested in.
We’ll even make suggestions to help you reach the audience most likely to be interested in your business.
Boosted posts fit any budget
You can boost posts for a preselected amount, or choose your own. We’ll never charge more than the budget you select.
The budget you select is the per-day price of boosting a post. Depending on the audience and budget you choose, you may or may not reach the maximum amount of your budget each day.*
The default schedule for a boosted post is 1 day, but you may schedule a boosted post for up to 7 days.
*Your daily budget for a boosted post resets every day at midnight.
Add a payment method to boost a post
When you boost your first post, you’ll be asked to add a payment method if you don’t already have one. You can add a debit or credit card, link to your PayPal account, or use a Facebook coupon.*
Click Build Audience and choose Use Ads Manager
Click Billing in the left column, then click Payment Methods.
Click the Add Payment Method button.
Select the payment method you want to add, then click Continue. After you enter your information, your payment method is ready to go.
*Facebook ad coupons are sometimes available through partnerships Facebook has with other companies, or periodic promotions. Requesting credits or coupons from Facebook is not currently available.
Boost posts from your mobile device
With the Pages Manager app, you can boost posts on the go. Just create a post from your mobile device and tap the Boost Post button.
And it’s just as easy to choose an audience, budget and schedule. The Pages Manager app gives you details on how people are responding, too.
