If the organisation has identified a post or posts which will cease then the analysis may help effectively manage the impact by ensuring that the right people are not only talked to but listened to. As always communication rules. The analysis helps decide who is affected. This technique can help but only when decision makers talk to and listen to everyone who is affected. The HBR article has made some very important points
