So you just found out that
Canada and the United States have been implementing a new
Identification system that utilizes human tracking technologies like
RFID and Biometrics. Now you've recently seen news reports stating that Canada and the United States, under the "
Beyond the
Borders Initiative" or "
Common Security Perimeter Deal", are ready to utilize these technologies to track in real-time, all travelers in
North America and your starting to wonder
.. What's Up?
You might have heard people on their side of the border, whether it be in
Canada or the
United States, raising legitimate concerns of privacy rights and some may mention that this scheme is really the governments way of setting up a '
National ID Card' system. While all this sounds bad enough, this small article was put together to say
...hold onto your seats folks because our governments have even bigger plans!
After discovering that the
ICAO (
International Civil Aviation Organization aka
U.N.) has been hard at work developing a global framework/infrastructure that all this new identification technology will plug into, We quickly realized that a "National ID Card" is just a stepping stone towards a much bigger
Global ID agenda unfolding here. We were shocked to find out that while we're all busy debating our governments on the intrusiveness and loss of privacy this new ID system imposes on 'we the people', we find out that Canada, the United States,
China, Japan,
Germany,
France,
India and others have already signed onto a UN/ICAO program to establish a global ID infrastructure. National ID Card?
It's time we start thinking 'bigger' because our governments certainly are!
We were able to capture some of the documents before they were removed and we have included the important ones below:

Also..
Before getting on-board for the new "Enhanced" drivers licence, be sure to check your local
State or
Provincial laws to see if the new program is still "optional" for you. As in
Ontario Bill 85 it states that this new version of the licence is option and is currently in it's phasing in period..
I doubt it would be optional for long. If it is optional in your province or state, be sure to opt out and take the standard licence when you go in to renew your drivers licence. Keep in mind however, even the non-enhanced version utilizes biometric technology but does not contain the
RFID chip and does not qualify as suitable identification for crossing land borders in Canada-U.S.
We can only surmise this is due to the fact that the non-enhanced version does not contain your citizenship information or threat assessment profile.
If your
Province or State are still issuing the old style passports, get one now before the ePassports are rolled out to the masses. If enough people opt-out and it becomes an expensive program to run, I wouldn't hold your breath but maybe they will scrap it or at least slow its implementation. An alternative right now would be to stick with a passport for now, you still need a passport for air travel anyway as the "Enhanced version" of the drivers licence is not suitable for travel documents. Also be sure to do your homework before applying to be part of the
NEXUS program, that is unless, you don't mind submitting to an interview, background check, having your finger prints taken and submit to a dual iris scan before boarding your flights.
I often question what's next? When this new system and this current technology are no longer considered secure by those in charge of such matters, where does it all go from here? Implants? You tell us!
