McDonald’s Finally Shows How They Make Chicken McNuggets
Of all the dishes served at McDonald’s, the most controversial is the Chicken McNuggets. They’re just so delicious, yet people can’t help but spread terrifying rumors about how they are made and what they are made of. Do they really use all of the chicken, even the beak and feet? And what about the pictures of pink slime that have circulated online?
In a new effort to become more transparent, McDonald’s takes viewers on a tour of a Tyson chicken factory where they make the famous McNuggets in this viral video.

This is mechanically separated chicken. Chickens are turned into this goop so we can create delicious chicken nuggets and juicy chicken patties. It's obscenely gross and borderline alien but it's not going to stop me from eating nuggets. They're too good.
The process works a little something like this:
There's more: because it's crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia, soaked in it, actually. Then, because it tastes gross, it will be reflavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color.

This recipe goes out to my younger self who loved me some Chicken McNuggets, man I used to crush a 20 piece with 3 packs of BBQ sauce. This is the closest clone recipe that I could recreate, there is something about McDonald's that you just can't ever replicate perfectly but this taste and feels just like the McNugget. Give it a try, so glorious!

Chicken McNuggets (introduced in 1983 with support from the McNugget Mania campaign) are a product offered by international fast-food restaurant chain McDonald's consisting of small pieces of processed chicken meat that have been battered and deep fried.
Chicken McNuggets are one of the most popular trademarked items on the McDonald's menu.
The Chicken McNugget is a small piece of processed white meat chicken that is fried in batter and flash frozen, then shipped out and sold at McDonald's restaurants. According to McDonald's, only white meat chicken is now used in Chicken McNuggets.
McDonald's first Executive Chef Rene Arend created Chicken McNuggets in 1979. "The McNuggets were so well received that every franchise wanted them", said Arend in a 2009 interview. "There wasn’t a system to supply enough chicken". Supply problems were solved by 1983, when Chicken McNuggets became available nationwide.
As of October 9, 2010 (2010 -10-09)[update], the ingredients are as follows: Chicken, water, salt, sodium phosphates. Battered and breaded with bleached wheat flour, water, wheat flour, modified food starch, salt, spices, wheat gluten, paprika, dextrose (sugar), yeast, garlic powder, rosemary, partially hydrogenated soybean oil and cottonseed oil with mono- and diglycerides, leavening (sodium acid pyrophosphate, baking soda, ammonium bicarbonate, monocalcium phosphate), natural flavor (plant source) with extractives of paprika. Fried in vegetable oil (Canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil with TBHQ and citric acid added to preserve freshness). Dimethylpolysiloxane, a silicone derivative is added as an antifoaming agent. McDonald's ingredients can vary outside of the United States.

The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History is a 1978 book by Michael H. Hart, reprinted in 1992 with revisions. It is a ranking of the 100 people who, according to Hart, most influenced human history.

The process works a little something like this:
There's more: because it's crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia, soaked in it, actually. Then, because it tastes gross, it will be reflavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color.

This is the closest clone recipe that I could recreate, there is something about McDonald's that you just can't ever replicate perfectly but this taste and feels just like the McNugget.
