History
Vanco Group Limited was a British telecommunications company. It was a Virtual Network Operator, owning no network infrastructure itself, but providing management services and reselling network from other telecommunications suppliers. It could also be described as a VANS (Value-Added Network Supplier), where the 'value-add' is the design, provision, and management of multiple third-party networks for customers. They offered services in 230 countries and territories in the world, and managed networks for clients in 161 countries. Vanco Group Limited was previously part of the Vanco plc group, but was acquired by Reliance Globalcom, part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (AReliance ADA Group) on May 27, 2008.[1]
