Luna, Apayao 23 September 2015 President Benigno S. Aquino III attended the presentation of his administration’s accomplishments in the province of Apayao held at the Bienvenido G. Verzola, Jr. Memorial Sports Center in Luna, Apayao. The program included a briefing by Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Rogelio “Babes” Singson of the major infrastructure projects in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), especially in Apayao. The projects included improvements in the sectors of education, tourism, agriculture, health, infrastructure, livelihood, and the welfare of indigenous people. The program also gave an opportunity for beneficiaries of the projects to thank the President for improving their way of life.
