jDownloads Documentation Centre
Welcome to the jDownloads Documentation Centre.
You will find additional help about jDownloads at this site. The documentation is in classical article tutorial style, we are planning to include some Video tutorials.
To access the documents either click on the Documentation menu item above, which gives an overall access to all documents, or click upon one of the links below.All the links below open in a new page/tab.
At the present time there are three sections in the Documentation section. Please note that only the jD3.2 series is supported now, all users are recommended to upgrade to Joomla! 3.x and migrate to the jD3.2 series.
There are more than 50 articles in 10 categories dealing with various aspects of the jDownloads 3.2 series, and nearly 40 articles on the now unsupported jD2.5 series. Click on jD3.2 index or jD2.5 index respectively to access the relevant articles directly - note these open in a new page/tab. There are also several documents on the older 1.9 series. Of course if you have some documentation examples or suggestions, or would like to help then please contact us through the forum.
It is planned to include a source directory with all existing extensions for jDownloads. Subsequently we plan to add the possibility for visitors to submit new source extensions and similar.
