Logan Lerman & Dylan O'Brien Eyed For New Spider Man Subscribe Now! ► http://bit.ly/SubClevverMovies As fans continue to process the realization that Spider-Man will finally be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a new report reveals which actors are being eyed to take over the role and what’s in store for the new film. As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have reached a deal for Spider-Man to appear in next summer’s Captain America: Civil War and a new Spider-Man film to be released in 2017 that will take place within Marvel’s ever-expanding universe. The real question now is which actor will take over the iconic role. According to Variety, sources with knowledge of the studio’s plan are revealing that The Maze Runner star Dylan O’Brien and Percy Jackson’s Logan Lerman are among the names being considered. According to the site, the new Spider-Man will be introduced as a high school student and the new film will focus on exploring his awkward relationship with other students while he spends his free time fighting crime. This mirrors previous leaked emails that surfaced from last year’s Sony hack. Variety also claims that the studio is currently deciding if the new Spider-Man will in fact be “Peter Parker” or if they will instead focus on the Ultimate Comics version of the character, “Miles Morales”. Though some of you have been vocal about wanting to see Miles get his chance on the big screen, we should point out that Sony Pictures president Doug Belgrad did say that the new collaboration between Sony and Marvel is quote, “the perfect way to take Peter Parker’s story into the future.” This of course doesn’t mean we won’t see Miles introduced, but it does seem highly unlikely. As for when we could find out which actor will take over the Spider-Man mantle, with Captain America 3 set to begin shooting in April, the decision will have to be made fairly soon, though Variety points out that the producers are interested in hiring a new director for the 2017 Spider-Man movie before a casting decision is made. As for the Spider-Man spinoff films that Sony was working on – Sinister Six, Venom and a female-lead film, sources say Sony has put them all on hold for now, but are still planning to develop them, though Marvel’s Kevin Feige, who will be producing the new Spider-Man films along with Sony’s Amy Pascal, will not be actively involved with the spinoffs, which leads us to think they will not officially be part of the MCU, which could make things a little tricky. Miles Lerman (1920 – January 22, 2008) was a Polish-born American who helped to plan and create the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C.. Lerman, a Holocaust survivor himself, had fought as a Jewish resistance fighter during World War II in Nazi occupied Poland.

Lerman was born as Szmuel Milek Lerman in Tomaszów Lubelski, Poland, in 1920. His parents were Israel and Yochevet Feldzon Lerman and he was one of five children. His mother, Yochevet, owned an import and export grocery business. His father, Israel, owned several businesses throughout eastern Poland, including a flour mill.

Lerman and his family fled to the city of Lwów following the Nazi invasion of Poland in 1939. Lerman was captured and sent to the Viniki forced labor camp. However, he managed to escape the camp. He spent the next 23 months as a Jewish resistance fighter hidden in the forests surrounding Lwów.

He went to the Polish city of Łódź following the end of the war. There he met his wife, Krysia Rozalia Laks, whom he married in a Displaced Persons camp. The couple emigrated together to the United States in 1947.

As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have reached a deal for Spider-Man to appear in next summer’s Captain America: Civil War and a new Spider-Man film to be released in 2017 that will take place within Marvel’s ever-expanding universe. The real question now is which actor will take over the iconic role. According to Variety, sources with knowledge of the studio’s plan are revealing that The Maze Runner star Dylan O’Brien and Percy Jackson’s Logan Lerman are among the names being considered. According to the site, the new Spider-Man will be introduced as a high school student and the new film will focus on exploring his awkward relationship with other students while he spends his free time fighting crime. This mirrors previous leaked emails that surfaced from last year’s Sony hack. Variety also claims that the studio is currently deciding if the new Spider-Man will in fact be “Peter Parker” or if they will instead focus on the Ultimate Comics version of the character, “Miles Morales”. Though some of you have been vocal about wanting to see Miles get his chance on the big screen, we should point out that Sony Pictures president Doug Belgrad did say that the new collaboration between Sony and Marvel is quote, “the perfect way to take Peter Parker’s story into the future.” This of course doesn’t mean we won’t see Miles introduced, but it does seem highly unlikely.
