It's increasingly obvious to those who have a critical mind and the ability to reason that the "truth movement" is nothing other than a religious den of hysteria and logical fallacies coupled with a permanent "woe-is-me" perma-victimhood.

Fair Use publication of video obtained by The Guardian newspaper showing the police attack during the G20 Meltdown protest at the Bank of England, London, 1st April 2009, which led to the tragic death of Millwall fan Ian Tomlinson - a totally innocent man who was assaulted by the police.
In the words of even a Conservative newspaper like The Daily Mail "this video shows the moment newspaper seller Ian Tomlinson was attacked from BEHIND by a baton-wielding police officer" [0:26] and (to quote The Daily Mail again) this evidence "contradicts the official police statement". It's just been reported that PC Rob Ward posted on Facebook saying he wanted to use the G20 protests to "bash some hippies", and that Ian Tomlinson almost certainly died from a head-wound...

In showing an otherwise largely peaceful scene in which 2 protestors are clearly visible immediately coming to Ian Tomlinson's assistance [0:33], this video contradicts newspaper reports which repeatedly claimed that protestors ignored the injured man, and even that protestors attacked police who came (later, and clearly too late) to Ian Tomlinson's aid (there is "truth" in this allegation to the extent that other videos show one plastic water bottle being thrown and clearly missing the police). This evidence also contradicts the findings of the official "inquest", which concluded that the heart attack which killed Ian Tomlinson resulted from "natural" causes - as if being smacked in the legs with a nightstick [1:21] and knocked head first onto concrete [1:33] by a masked attacker could be described as a "natural" cause of death!
In my experience of taking part in this protest, the police were extremely aggressive from the outset. Officers armed with nightsticks, telescopic truncheons and sap gloves, then attack dogs and horses, and protected by helmets, shields, balaclavas and body armour, found the "courage" to behave with extreme hostility towards an initially peaceful crowd - well before any trouble was reciprocated. The police always knew perfectly well which of their number was responsible for this attack, and now that an officer has (a whole week later) been forced by public opinion to come forward, The London News has alleged that photographs show the officer had REMOVED the police ID numbers from his shoulders before the attack - signalling a clear intention to abuse police procedures and to evade detection for actions he planned to carry out during this protest.

The widow of Ian Tomlinson has told the inquest into his death she had lost the love of her life.
Earlier she broke down in tears as new images of her husband's last moments were shown in court: the footage shows him trying in vain to find a way out of the G20 protests - his path repeatedly blocked by police.
More footage also showed the movements of PC Simon Harwood, the Metropolitan Police officer who struck then pushed Mr Tomlinson to the ground shortly before he died. Simon Israel reports.

Death of Ian Tomlinson
Ian Tomlinson (7 February 1962 – 1 April 2009) was a newspaper vendor who collapsed and died in the City of London after being struck by a police officer during the 2009 G-20 summit protests. An inquest found that he had been unlawfully killed by the officer, Simon Harwood, a constable with London's Metropolitan Police Service. Harwood was later found not guilty of manslaughter, but was dismissed from the police service for gross misconduct.
The first autopsy had concluded that Tomlinson died of natural causes after suffering a heart attack. His death became controversial a week later when The Guardian published video that showed Harwood striking Tomlinson on the leg with a baton, then pushing him to the ground. The footage showed no provocation on Tomlinson's part; he was not a protester, and at the time he was struck was on his way home from work. He walked away after the incident, but collapsed and died minutes later.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) began a criminal inquiry, and further autopsies indicated that Tomlinson had died from internal bleeding caused by blunt force trauma to the abdomen, in association with cirrhosis of the liver. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) decided not to charge Harwood, because the disagreement between the first and later pathologists meant they could not show a causal link between the death and alleged assault. That position changed in 2011 when an inquest jury returned a verdict of unlawful killing; the CPS then charged Harwood with manslaughter. He was found not guilty in 2012 and dismissed from the service a few months later.

In the words of even a Conservative newspaper like The Daily Mail "this video shows the moment newspaper seller Ian Tomlinson was attacked from BEHIND by a baton-wielding police officer" [0:26] and (to quote The Daily Mail again) this evidence "contradicts the official police statement". It's just been reported that PC Rob Ward posted on Facebook saying he wanted to use the G20 protests to "bash some hippies", and that Ian Tomlinson almost certainly died from a head-wound...

In showing an otherwise largely peaceful scene in which 2 protestors are clearly visible immediately coming to Ian Tomlinson's assistance [0:33], this video contradicts newspaper reports which repeatedly claimed that protestors ignored the injured man, and even that protestors attacked police who came (later, and clearly too late) to Ian Tomlinson's aid (there is "truth" in this allegation to the extent that other videos show one plastic water bottle being thrown and clearly missing the police). This evidence also contradicts the findings of the official "inquest", which concluded that the heart attack which killed Ian Tomlinson resulted from "natural" causes - as if being smacked in the legs with a nightstick [1:21] and knocked head first onto concrete [1:33] by a masked attacker could be described as a "natural" cause of death!
In my experience of taking part in this protest, the police were extremely aggressive from the outset. Officers armed with nightsticks, telescopic truncheons and sap gloves, then attack dogs and horses, and protected by helmets, shields, balaclavas and body armour, found the "courage" to behave with extreme hostility towards an initially peaceful crowd - well before any trouble was reciprocated. The police always knew perfectly well which of their number was responsible for this attack, and now that an officer has (a whole week later) been forced by public opinion to come forward, The London News has alleged that photographs show the officer had REMOVED the police ID numbers from his shoulders before the attack - signalling a clear intention to abuse police procedures and to evade detection for actions he planned to carry out during this protest.

The widow of Ian Tomlinson has told the inquest into his death she had lost the love of her life.
Earlier she broke down in tears as new images of her husband's last moments were shown in court: the footage shows him trying in vain to find a way out of the G20 protests - his path repeatedly blocked by police.
More footage also showed the movements of PC Simon Harwood, the Metropolitan Police officer who struck then pushed Mr Tomlinson to the ground shortly before he died. Simon Israel reports.

In January 2002, police were called to the block of flats where Hardy lived after a neighbour complained that someone had vandalised her front door and that she strongly suspected Hardy. When the police investigated Hardy's flat they found a locked door and, despite his claims to the contrary, police found that Hardy had a key. In the room the police found the naked dead body of a woman lying on a bed with cuts and bruises to her head. She was identified as Sally White, 38, a prostitute who had been living in London. Die Animation der überdimensionalen Krawallbrüder hinterlässt leider nur einen mittelprächtigen Eindruck, was insbesondere den zweiköpfigen Super-Ork der Riesen-Horde betrifft. Besser gelungen sind die 3D-Effekte, die sich harmonisch in das romantisch-märchenhafte Ambiete einfügen. In January 2002, police were called to the block of flats where Hardy lived after a neighbour complained that someone had vandalised her front door and that she strongly suspected Hardy. When the police investigated Hardy's flat they found a locked door and, despite his claims to the contrary, police found that Hardy had a key. In the room the police found the naked dead body of a woman lying on a bed with cuts and bruises to her head. She was identified as Sally White, 38, a prostitute who had been living in London. Forensic pathologist Dr Freddy Patel subsequently concluded that White had died of a heart attack, in spite of the circumstances. Patel later came under scrutiny for this and other findings in his career, including the 2009 death of Ian Tomlinson, resulting in a suspension from the government's register of pathologists pending an inquiry and in 2012 his name was erased from the medical register by the General Medical Council, meaning that he can no longer practise medicine in the United Kingdom.
Hardy pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal damage and claimed he had no knowledge of how Sally White came to be in his flat due to his drinking problem. Whilst in custody Hardy was transferred to a psychiatric hospital, under section 37 of the Mental Health Act 1983, remaining there until November 2002.
On 30 December 2002 a homeless man scavenging for food in bins found some of the dismembered remains of two women found stuffed in bin-liners. The victims were identified as Bridgette MacClennan, 34, and Elizabeth Valad, 29.
