Watch in fake 4K for the highest quality. Back in 1986, Group B was at it's peak. It was rivalling F1 in terms of viewership, and was often regarded as more exciting as well. Until it abruptly came to the end at the 1986 Tour de Corse. Henri Toivonen and Sergio Cresto were leading by a large margin during the seventh stage but tragically and fatally crashed when their Lancia Delta S4 exploded after going down a ravine. Just a few hours later, Group B was banned. This was 30 years ago, and whilst rallying is certainly much safer now and the cars are faster, many can't not look upon these cars fondly due to their brutal power outputs, and incredible looks and sounds.
