Jack meets Sophie, a beautiful woman looking for love just like he is. They go on a montage of abstract dates and finally decide to make it official. When Sophie comes home one day with a surprise for Jack, she finds him in bed with his ex, Scarlet. Heartbroken, Sophie turns to her 10 year old sister for advice and discovers that her young, naive sister is right. Sophie decides to give Jack another chance. She hails down Jacks' car and they make up with a passionate kiss. Weeks later, Sophie wears an engagement ring as she comes home with the groceries and finds Jack in the bedroom, again with Scarlet.
