Grant Cooper

Grant B. Cooper (April 1, 1903, in New York City – May 3, 1990), was the chief defense attorney in the murder trial against Sirhan Sirhan for the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy. Sirhan's more recent counsel has accused Cooper of deliberately throwing the Sirhan case as the result of a then-pending indictment against Cooper for possessing stolen transcripts of the grand jury proceedings in the Beverly Hills Friar's Club card cheating case. Cooper, who faced the possibility of jail time, was eventually fined $1000. Cooper died in 1990 of an aortic aneurysm.

Notable cases

Cooper was probably most famous for his role as the lead attorney for Sirhan Sirhan, but his legal battles included many famous cases and people. His cases included defending JPL co-founder Tsien Hsue-shen against charges of being a communist and facing deportation to China and representing mob-boss Johnny Roselli in the Friar's Club case.

Cooper has also represented several Hollywood actors, including Lynne Baggett for homicide, Joan Bennett, and Shirley Temple in her divorce from John Agar.

Bryan Beller

Bryan Beller (born May 6, 1971) is an American bass guitarist known for his work with Dethklok, Mike Keneally, Steve Vai, James LaBrie of Dream Theater, Dweezil Zappa, and The Aristocrats. He is an active member of the bands Dethklok and The Aristocrats, and has played with Joe Satriani since 2013.

Career

Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, Beller moved as a child to Westfield, New Jersey.

In 1992, Beller graduated from Berklee College of Music. Beller was an early blogger, documenting his personal and professional experiences on being a Professional Musician and "Bassist For Hire" in Los Angeles on "The Life of Bryan," from 1995 until 2005.

In 2003, Beller released his debut CD, View, which was self-financed product and released on his own label, Onion Boy Records. View, which ranges from jazz/rock to vocal pop to thrash to acoustic solo to world beat, has been described as having "sublime moments of melancholia, beauty, and joy." In 2008 Beller released his second solo CD Thanks In Advance; a special-edition DVD of the album entitled To Nothing was released along with it. In 2011 Beller released a live CD titled Wednesday Night Live in both CD and DVD format.
