It’s the second PGA Tour win for Kyle Stanley, who is the 2017 Quicken Loans National Champion.
This year’s competition took place at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm.
“It feels really good,” Kyle said. “A great golf course and it definitely took some of my best golf today”
With Sunday’s win, Stanley now ranks as number 14 in the FedEx Cup standings.

In the final round of the 2017 Quicken Loans National, Kyle Stanley climbed up the leaderboard to get into a playoff with Charles Howell III eventually emerging the victor to earn his second career PGA TOUR win.
The Quicken Loans National returns to TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm. In 2016, Navy veteran Billy Hurley III carded back-to-back birdies on holes No. 15 and 16 to secure his first win on the PGA TOUR.

The only bogey J.B. Holmes made Saturday could have been a lot worse, and he pieced together a 2-under 70 in strong wind on a punishing course to share the lead with Kyle Stanley going into the final round of The Players Championship.
Holmes hit his tee shot so far to the right on the 14th hole that it went into the water on the 12th hole. He hit a blind shot from 230 yards into the wind to a bunker and managed to get up-and-down to limit the damage, which is what Saturday at the TPC Sawgrass was all about.
Stanley got his trouble out of the way early with three bogeys in four holes, and then was bogey-free the rest of the way. He saved par from the back bunker on the 18th hole on the Players Stadium Course for a 72.
They were at 9-under 207, one shot clear of Louis Oosthuizen (73).
The TPC Sawgrass has trouble at every turn even in calm conditions. Throw in a relentless wind that the final half of the field faced all afternoon, and it was as much about staying in neutral without losing ground — or crashing.
And there was plenty of that.
Canadian David Hearn, in contention after opening with rounds of 70 and 69, ballooned to 80 on Saturday. Tour rookie Mackenzie Hughes, who shared the lead after the first round before fading on Friday, was the top Canadian at even-par 216 after a round of 74, nine shots off the pace.
Jon Rahm of Spain, the best newcomer on the PGA Tour, was five shots behind when he started and missed the 54-hole cut with an 82. Matt Kuchar took a 9 on the 14th hole and shot 81, his highest score ever on this course. Phil Mickelson shot a 78.
Of the 82 players in the field, 49 made a double bogey or worse.
That what’s made Ian Poulter’s round remarkable in so many ways. Two weeks ago, Poulter wasn’t even in the field and no longer had full status until the PGA Tour realized it made a clerical error related to his return from a foot injury. The Ryder Cup stalwart made the most of the opportunity with the only bogey-free round of the day, and even though he had just one birdie, that 71 was enough to give him a serious chance.
Poulter wasn’t alone in having a shot at a big payoff from the $10.5 million purse.
Si Woo Kim was bogey-free until he hit a shot off the bulkhead and into the water on the par-5 16th and missed a short par putt. He bounced back with a birdie on the island-green 17th and shot 68 to finish two shots out of the lead.
Emiliano Grillo of Argentina had seven birdies in his round of 67 and was tied with Poulter at 6-under 210.
And right behind them was Masters champion Sergio Garcia, who was 4 over through six holes in the opening round and began his recovery project with a hole-in-one on the infamous 17th. Garcia kept pecking away, and his 67 in the third round left him only four shots behind.
The low round belonged to Pat Perez, who shot a 66 (with a bogey on the final hole) before the wind began to blow consistently and the TPC Sawgrass became more of a challenge than it already is.
That goes for Dustin Johnson, the world No. 1, who looked as though he might have a chance to at least get in the mix until tiny mistakes led to bogeys, and a big mistake led to double bogey on the 16th hole. Johnson shot 40 on the back nine for a 74 and was 11 shots out.
Defending champion Jason Day had two double bogeys in his round of 73 and was eight shots behind, trying to keep alive hopes of becoming the first player to win back-to-back since this tournament began in 1974.
Rory McIlroy could only manage a 71. He will play with Day on Sunday, also eight behind.

The Players Championship has reached its halfway point with Kyle Stanley and Louis Oosthuizen tied for the lead at 9 under.
Stanley, 29, a PGA Tour winner that came out firing right out of college, has struggled to find consistent form in recent seasons. But he was sharp Friday, shooting a 6-under 66 with eight birdies and two bogeys.
The former Clemson star won the Phoenix Open in 2012, but he has not since finished in the top 3 of a Tour event.
Oosthuizen, who has already won a British Open, and lost in a playoff in a separate British Open and a Masters, vaulted up the leaderboard with a bogey-free 6-under 66. He has just one bogey through the first 36 holes.
Heading into the week, Oosthuizen's best finish here was a tie for 19th in 2013. He looks poised to blow by that mark.
J.B. Holmes bogeyed his last two holes Friday to fall back to 7 under. Using his length to take advantage of TPC Sawgrass' firm conditions, Holmes momentarily held the lead at 9 under before bogeying holes 8 and 9 to finish his second round.
Holmes has not finished in the top 10 since a T-4 last fall at the BMW Championship.
While some may be unfamiliar with Stanley, Vijay Singh became the most surprising name on the leaderboard when he shot a 4-under 68 in Round 2. Singh, 54, ended the day in solo fourth at 6 under, but he came into the event having missed nine of his last 10 cuts.
Patrick Cantlay led a group tied for fifth at 5 under. The former top-ranked amateur missed almost three years with injuries, but he has two top-5 finishes already this season. Rafa Cabrera Bello, Alex Noren, David Hearn and Ian Poulter, who recently secured his Tour card, also finished at 5 under.
Jon Rahm struggled with his putter early Friday morning, but he is still in contention at 4 under. Despite being a rookie, Rahm has already proven he's one of the most dangerous and consistent players on Tour.
Henrik Stenson, Adam Scott, Phil Mickelson and Jason Day all finished their second rounds at 2 under. Though seven shots back, they could climb up the leaderboard in a hurry, as positions often change at this course in a hurry.
Another group of notables finished at even. Rory McIlroy, who is dealing with lingering back discomfort, Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, Masters winner Sergio Garcia and former Players winners Matt Kuchar and Martin Kaymer are all nine shots back heading into the weekend.
Jordan Spieth missed his third straight cut at the Players by shooting a 3-over 75 to finish 4 over for the tournament. Spieth had a chance to rally late, but he made a disappointing par on the par-5 16th, He then hit it in the water on 17 leading to a double-bogey.

Kyle Stanley
Kyle Stanley (born November 19, 1987) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour.
Amateur career
Stanley was born in Gig Harbor, Washington. He was a 2002 graduate of St. Charles Borromeo elementary and middle school and a 2006 graduate of Bellarmine Preparatory School (both Catholic schools located in Tacoma, Washington).
As a freshman at Clemson University, he established 18 individual scoring records. During his college career he has won the 2006 Aloha Purdue Collegiate and the 2008 Carpet Classic. He was named the ACC player of the year for the 2006-07 season. Stanley was named first-team All-America in 2007 and 2009 by the Golf Coaches Association of America. He was the Individual runner-up at the NCAA Championship in 2007 and 2009. He was a member of the 2007 American Walker Cup team. Stanley studied Sports Management while at Clemson. In 2009 he was given the Ben Hogan Award for best college golfer.
Professional career
Stanley turned professional after the 2009 U.S. Open and made his pro debut a week later at the Travelers Championship. Late in 2010, Stanley earned a 2011 PGA Tour card through Q-School where he finished in a tie for ninth. In his debut season on tour, he recorded four top-10 finishes, with the best of these coming at the John Deere Classic where he finished runner-up to Steve Stricker by a single stroke. The runner-up finish did however help Stanley secure the final available spot at the 2011 Open Championship. It was his first ever appearance in an Open Championship and he made the cut to finish in a tie for 44th. He also made the third FedEx Cup playoff event, the BMW Championship, finishing tied for 10th, though that wasn't good enough to provide entrance to the final event of the year, The Tour Championship. He finished the 2011 season 55th on the PGA Tour money list and 148th on the Official World Golf Ranking.

PGA Tour
The PGA Tour (officially rendered in all capital letters, as PGA TOUR) is the organizer of the main professional golf tours played primarily by men in the United States and North America. It organizes most of the events on the flagship annual series of tournaments also known as the PGA Tour, as well as the Champions Tour (for golfers age 50 and older) and the Web.com Tour (for professional players who have not yet qualified to play in the PGA Tour), as well as PGA Tour Canada, PGA Tour Latinoamérica, and PGA Tour China. It is headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, a suburb of Jacksonville.
Originally established by the Professional Golfers' Association of America, it was spun off in December 1968 into a separate organization for tour players, as opposed to club professionals, the focal members of today's PGA of America. Originally the "Tournament Players Division," it adopted the name "PGA Tour" in 1975 and runs most of the week-to-week professional golf events on the tournament known as the PGA Tour, including The Players Championship, hosted at TPC Sawgrass, the FedEx Cup, with its finale at The Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club, and the biennial Presidents Cup. The remaining events on the PGA Tour are run by different organizations, as are the U.S.-based LPGA Tour for women and the other men's and women's professional tours around the world.

Quicken Loans
Quicken Loans Inc., is headquartered in The Qube building in the heart of the historic financial district of downtown Detroit, Michigan. In 2012, it became the second largest overall retail lender in the U.S. (it is also the largest online retail mortgage lender). The company consists of Quicken Loans, One Reverse Mortgage, and Title Source, a mortgage settlement service provider. Quicken Loans closed more than $70 billion in home loan volume in 2012, a 133 percent increase over its previous record of $30 billion set in 2011. The company also doubled its growth.
History
Quicken Loans, originally Rock Financial, was founded in 1985 by Dan Gilbert (businessman) along with Ron Berman, his brother, Gary Gilbert and his friend Lindsay Gross. In July 1987 the name was changed to Rock Financial Corp. Rock Financial became one of the largest independent mortgage companies in the country. As RFC grew so did the head count, hitting 50 employees in August 1991. In May 1998, Gilbert took Rock Financial public, launching an IPO underwritten by Bear Stearns and Prudential Securities.

Throw in a relentless wind that the final half of the field faced all afternoon, and it was as much about staying in neutral without losing ground — or crashing. And there was plenty of that. Canadian David Hearn, in contention after opening with rounds of 70 and 69, ballooned to 80 on Saturday. Tour rookie Mackenzie Hughes, who shared the lead after the first round before fading on Friday, was the top Canadian at even-par 216 after a round of 74, nine shots off the pace. Jon Rahm of Spain, the best newcomer on the PGA Tour, was five shots behind when he started and missed the 54-hole cut with an 82. Matt Kuchar took a 9 on the 14th hole and shot 81, his highest score ever on this course. Phil Mickelson shot a 78. Of the 82 players in the field, 49 made a double bogey or worse. That what’s made Ian Poulter’s round remarkable in so many ways. Two weeks ago, Poulter wasn’t even in the field and no longer had full status until the PGA Tour realized it made a clerical error related to his return from a foot injury. The Ryder Cup stalwart made the most of the opportunity with the only bogey-free round of the day, and even though he had just one birdie, that 71 was enough to give him a serious chance. Poulter wasn’t alone in having a shot at a big payoff from the $10.5 million purse. Si Woo Kim was bogey-free until he hit a shot off the bulkhead and into the water on the par-5 16th and missed a short par putt. He bounced back with a birdie on the island-green 17th and shot 68 to finish two shots out of the lead. Emiliano Grillo of Argentina had seven birdies in his round of 67 and was tied with Poulter at 6-under 210. And right behind them was Masters champion Sergio Garcia, who was 4 over through six holes in the opening round and began his recovery project with a hole-in-one on the infamous 17th. Garcia kept pecking away, and his 67 in the third round left him only four shots behind. The low round belonged to Pat Perez, who shot a 66 (with a bogey on the final hole) before the wind began to blow consistently and the TPC Sawgrass became more of a challenge than it already is. That goes for Dustin Johnson, the world No. 1, who looked as though he might have a chance to at least get in the mix until tiny mistakes led to bogeys, and a big mistake led to double bogey on the 16th hole. Johnson shot 40 on the back nine for a 74 and was 11 shots out. Defending champion Jason Day had two double bogeys in his round of 73 and was eight shots behind, trying to keep alive hopes of becoming the first player to win back-to-back since this tournament began in 1974. Rory McIlroy could only manage a 71. He will play with Day on Sunday, also eight behind. -

The Players Championship has reached its halfway point with Kyle Stanley and Louis Oosthuizen tied for the lead at 9 under. Stanley, 29, a PGA Tour winner that came out firing right out of college, has struggled to find consistent form in recent seasons. But he was sharp Friday, shooting a 6-under 66 with eight birdies and two bogeys. The former Clemson star won the Phoenix Open in 2012, but he has not since finished in the top 3 of a Tour event. Oosthuizen, who has already won a British Open, and lost in a playoff in a separate British Open and a Masters, vaulted up the leaderboard with a bogey-free 6-under 66. He has just one bogey through the first 36 holes. Heading into the week, Oosthuizen's best finish here was a tie for 19th in 2013. He looks poised to blow by that mark. J.B. Holmes bogeyed his last two holes Friday to fall back to 7 under. Using his length to take advantage of TPC Sawgrass' firm conditions, Holmes momentarily held the lead at 9 under before bogeying holes 8 and 9 to finish his second round. Holmes has not finished in the top 10 since a T-4 last fall at the BMW Championship. While some may be unfamiliar with Stanley, Vijay Singh became the most surprising name on the leaderboard when he shot a 4-under 68 in Round 2. Singh, 54, ended the day in solo fourth at 6 under, but he came into the event having missed nine of his last 10 cuts. Patrick Cantlay led a group tied for fifth at 5 under. The former top-ranked amateur missed almost three years with injuries, but he has two top-5 finishes already this season. Rafa Cabrera Bello, Alex Noren, David Hearn and Ian Poulter, who recently secured his Tour card, also finished at 5 under. Jon Rahm struggled with his putter early Friday morning, but he is still in contention at 4 under. Despite being a rookie, Rahm has already proven he's one of the most dangerous and consistent players on Tour. Henrik Stenson, Adam Scott, Phil Mickelson and Jason Day all finished their second rounds at 2 under. Though seven shots back, they could climb up the leaderboard in a hurry, as positions often change at this course in a hurry. Another group of notables finished at even. Rory McIlroy, who is dealing with lingering back discomfort, Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, Masters winner Sergio Garcia and former Players winners Matt Kuchar and Martin Kaymer are all nine shots back heading into the weekend. Jordan Spieth missed his third straight cut at the Players by shooting a 3-over 75 to finish 4 over for the tournament. Spieth had a chance to rally late, but he made a disappointing par on the par-5 16th, He then hit it in the water on 17 leading to a double-bogey.

Holmes made Saturday could have been a lot worse, and he pieced together a 2-under 70 in strong wind on a punishing course to share the lead with Kyle Stanley going into the final round of The Players Championship. Holmes hit his tee shot so far to the right on the 14th hole that it went into the water on the 12th hole. He hit a blind shot from 230 yards into the wind to a bunker and managed to get up-and-down to limit the damage, which is what Saturday at the TPC Sawgrass was all about. The only bogey J.B. Holmes made Saturday could have been a lot worse, and he pieced together a 2-under 70 in strong wind on a punishing course to share the lead with Kyle Stanley going into the final round of The Players Championship.
Holmes hit his tee shot so far to the right on the 14th hole that it went into the water on the 12th hole. He hit a blind shot from 230 yards into the wind to a bunker and managed to get up-and-down to limit the damage, which is what Saturday at the TPC Sawgrass was all about.
Stanley got his trouble out of the way early with three bogeys in four holes, and then was bogey-free the rest of the way. He saved par from the back bunker on the 18th hole on the Players Stadium Course for a 72.
They were at 9-under 207, one shot clear of Louis Oosthuizen (73).
The TPC Sawgrass has trouble at every turn even in calm conditions. Throw in a relentless wind that the final half of the field faced all afternoon, and it was as much about staying in neutral without losing ground — or crashing.
And there was plenty of that.
Canadian David Hearn, in contention after opening with rounds of 70 and 69, ballooned to 80 on Saturday. Tour rookie Mackenzie Hughes, who shared the lead after the first round before fading on Friday, was the top Canadian at even-par 216 after a round of 74, nine shots off the pace.
Jon Rahm of Spain, the best newcomer on the PGA Tour, was five shots behind when he started and missed the 54-hole cut with an 82. Matt Kuchar took a 9 on the 14th hole and shot 81, his highest score ever on this course. Phil Mickelson shot a 78.
Of the 82 players in the field, 49 made a double bogey or worse.
That what’s made Ian Poulter’s round remarkable in so many ways. Two weeks ago, Poulter wasn’t even in the field and no longer had full status until the PGA Tour realized it made a clerical error related to his return from a foot injury. The Ryder Cup stalwart made the most of the opportunity with the only bogey-free round of the day, and even though he had just one birdie, that 71 was enough to give him a serious chance.
Poulter wasn’t alone in having a shot at a big payoff from the $10.5 million purse.
Si Woo Kim was bogey-free until he hit a shot off the bulkhead and into the water on the par-5 16th and missed a short par putt. He bounced back with a birdie on the island-green 17th and shot 68 to finish two shots out of the lead.
Emiliano Grillo of Argentina had seven birdies in his round of 67 and was tied with Poulter at 6-under 210.
And right behind them was Masters champion Sergio Garcia, who was 4 over through six holes in the opening round and began his recovery project with a hole-in-one on the infamous 17th. Garcia kept pecking away, and his 67 in the third round left him only four shots behind.
The low round belonged to Pat Perez, who shot a 66 (with a bogey on the final hole) before the wind began to blow consistently and the TPC Sawgrass became more of a challenge than it already is.
That goes for Dustin Johnson, the world No. 1, who looked as though he might have a chance to at least get in the mix until tiny mistakes led to bogeys, and a big mistake led to double bogey on the 16th hole. Johnson shot 40 on the back nine for a 74 and was 11 shots out.
Defending champion Jason Day had two double bogeys in his round of 73 and was eight shots behind, trying to keep alive hopes of becoming the first player to win back-to-back since this tournament began in 1974.
Rory McIlroy could only manage a 71. He will play with Day on Sunday, also eight behind.

Stanley, 29, a PGA Tour winner that came out firing right out of college, has struggled to find consistent form in recent seasons. But he was sharp Friday, shooting a 6-under 66 with eight birdies and two bogeys.
The former Clemson star won the Phoenix Open in 2012, but he has not since finished in the top 3 of a Tour event.
Oosthuizen, who has already won a British Open, and lost in a playoff in a separate British Open and a Masters, vaulted up the leaderboard with a bogey-free 6-under 66. He has just one bogey through the first 36 holes.
Heading into the week, Oosthuizen's best finish here was a tie for 19th in 2013. He looks poised to blow by that mark.

Henrik Stenson, Adam Scott, Phil Mickelson and Jason Day all finished their second rounds at 2 under. Though seven shots back, they could climb up the leaderboard in a hurry, as positions often change at this course in a hurry.

(The Associated Press) The only bogey J.B. Holmes made Saturday could have been a lot worse, and he pieced together a 2-under 70 in strong wind on a punishing course to share the lead with Kyle Stanley going into the final round of The Players Championship. Holmes hit his tee shot so far to the right on the 14th hole that it went into the water on the 12th hole. He hit a blind shot from 230 yards into the wind to a bunker and managed to get up-and-down to limit the damage, which is what Saturday at the TPC Sawgrass was all about. Stanley got his trouble out of the way early with three bogeys in four holes, and then was bogey-free the rest of the way. The Players Championship has reached its halfway point with Kyle Stanley and Louis Oosthuizen tied for the lead at 9 under. Stanley, 29, a PGA Tour winner that came out firing right out of college, has struggled to find consistent form in recent seasons. But he was sharp Friday, shooting a 6-under 66 with eight birdies and two bogeys. The former Clemson star won the Phoenix Open in 2012, but he has not since finished in the top 3 of a Tour event. Oosthuizen, who has already won a British Open, and lost in a playoff in a separate British Open and a Masters, vaulted up the leaderboard with a bogey-free 6-under 66. The only bogey J.B. Holmes made Saturday could have been a lot worse, and he pieced together a 2-under 70 in strong wind on a punishing course to share the lead with Kyle Stanley going into the final round of The Players Championship.
Holmes hit his tee shot so far to the right on the 14th hole that it went into the water on the 12th hole. He hit a blind shot from 230 yards into the wind to a bunker and managed to get up-and-down to limit the damage, which is what Saturday at the TPC Sawgrass was all about.
Stanley got his trouble out of the way early with three bogeys in four holes, and then was bogey-free the rest of the way. He saved par from the back bunker on the 18th hole on the Players Stadium Course for a 72.
They were at 9-under 207, one shot clear of Louis Oosthuizen (73).
The TPC Sawgrass has trouble at every turn even in calm conditions. Throw in a relentless wind that the final half of the field faced all afternoon, and it was as much about staying in neutral without losing ground — or crashing.
And there was plenty of that.
Canadian David Hearn, in contention after opening with rounds of 70 and 69, ballooned to 80 on Saturday. Tour rookie Mackenzie Hughes, who shared the lead after the first round before fading on Friday, was the top Canadian at even-par 216 after a round of 74, nine shots off the pace.
Jon Rahm of Spain, the best newcomer on the PGA Tour, was five shots behind when he started and missed the 54-hole cut with an 82. Matt Kuchar took a 9 on the 14th hole and shot 81, his highest score ever on this course. Phil Mickelson shot a 78.
Of the 82 players in the field, 49 made a double bogey or worse.
That what’s made Ian Poulter’s round remarkable in so many ways. Two weeks ago, Poulter wasn’t even in the field and no longer had full status until the PGA Tour realized it made a clerical error related to his return from a foot injury. The Ryder Cup stalwart made the most of the opportunity with the only bogey-free round of the day, and even though he had just one birdie, that 71 was enough to give him a serious chance.
Poulter wasn’t alone in having a shot at a big payoff from the $10.5 million purse.
Si Woo Kim was bogey-free until he hit a shot off the bulkhead and into the water on the par-5 16th and missed a short par putt. He bounced back with a birdie on the island-green 17th and shot 68 to finish two shots out of the lead.
Emiliano Grillo of Argentina had seven birdies in his round of 67 and was tied with Poulter at 6-under 210.
And right behind them was Masters champion Sergio Garcia, who was 4 over through six holes in the opening round and began his recovery project with a hole-in-one on the infamous 17th. Garcia kept pecking away, and his 67 in the third round left him only four shots behind.
The low round belonged to Pat Perez, who shot a 66 (with a bogey on the final hole) before the wind began to blow consistently and the TPC Sawgrass became more of a challenge than it already is.
That goes for Dustin Johnson, the world No. 1, who looked as though he might have a chance to at least get in the mix until tiny mistakes led to bogeys, and a big mistake led to double bogey on the 16th hole. Johnson shot 40 on the back nine for a 74 and was 11 shots out.

The only bogey J.B. Holmes made Saturday could have been a lot worse, and he pieced together a 2-under 70 in strong wind on a punishing course to share the lead with Kyle Stanley going into the final round of The Players Championship.
Holmes hit his tee shot so far to the right on the 14th hole that it went into the water on the 12th hole. He hit a blind shot from 230 yards into the wind to a bunker and managed to get up-and-down to limit the damage, which is what Saturday at the TPC Sawgrass was all about.
Stanley got his trouble out of the way early with three bogeys in four holes, and then was bogey-free the rest of the way. He saved par from the back bunker on the 18th hole on the Players Stadium Course for a 72.
They were at 9-under 207, one shot clear of Louis Oosthuizen (73).
The TPC Sawgrass has trouble at every turn even in calm conditions. Throw in a relentless wind that the final half of the field faced all afternoon, and it was as much about staying in neutral without losing ground — or crashing.
And there was plenty of that.

Stanley, 29, a PGA Tour winner that came out firing right out of college, has struggled to find consistent form in recent seasons. But he was sharp Friday, shooting a 6-under 66 with eight birdies and two bogeys.
The former Clemson star won the Phoenix Open in 2012, but he has not since finished in the top 3 of a Tour event.
Oosthuizen, who has already won a British Open, and lost in a playoff in a separate British Open and a Masters, vaulted up the leaderboard with a bogey-free 6-under 66. He has just one bogey through the first 36 holes.
Heading into the week, Oosthuizen's best finish here was a tie for 19th in 2013. He looks poised to blow by that mark.

Si Woo Kim did just that, carding a three-under 69 to defeat Ian Poulter and Louis Oosthuizen by three strokes to win the 2017 Players Championship. The 21-year-old is the youngest player to win the PGA's proverbial fifth major. Adam Scott set the previous record in 2004, winning the event at age 23.
Kim, who has been cut in his only two appearances at a major championship, will see an 111-spot boost in his FedEx Cup rankings.
Starting the day two strokes behind the leaders, Kim played his second straight steady round as the field faded around him. He opened with a birdie on No. 1 and then moved into sole possession of the lead with another pair of red numbers on Nos. 7 and 9.
With Holmes and Stanley out of the picture and Poulter easing the pressure after dropping a stroke on No. 12, all Kim had to do was ride out the back nine to get the win. He finished his round with nine straight pars on the back nine, including a tap-in from a little more than three feet for the win.
Poulter added another bogey on No. 18 to help Oosthuizen get back in a tie for second. Oosthuizen began the day at eight under but spent most of the day trying to scramble after a double-bogey at No. 4. He made that back with an eagle at No. 11 and got another birdie at the par-five 16th to atone for his three bogeys on the day.
Rafa Cabrera Bello and Stanley rounded out the top five in a tie for fourth place. Four golfers (including Scott) tied for sixth place at five under.
Holmes and Stanley, after beginning their day seemingly on a head-to-head path for the title, instead traded bad shots in a disappointing final group.

He finished his day with an eight on the par-three 17th and a double-bogey on the par-four 18th, which came after an already miserable round. Before the nightmare final two holes, Holmes already had seven bogeys and a double.

The panel discussion, held at Talento Bilingue de Houston in the EaDo neighborhood east of downtown Houston, was sponsored by a consortium of five Republican groups in Greater Houston including Republicans Against Marijuana Prohibition (RAMP). Ted Oberg, investigative reporter at KTRK-TV (Ch. 13/ABC-Houston), served as the moderator for the debate.
The goal of this video is to inform and educate the public on a balanced discussion about the pros and cons of marijuana law reform in Texas, and to also provide conservative and Republican activists at the grassroots level, particularly in the Greater Houston area but also nationwide, with credible viewpoints from both elected GOP officials and policymakers within the American conservative movement.
