What the fuck is wrong with our country?
This video earlier uploaded on social media shows a group of looters in Deptford South East London stealing bottled water which was intended to be used by the marathon runners.
Hugh Brasher, Event Director for London Marathon Events Ltd, said: 'It's very disappointing to see water being stolen in this way from the official water stations for our runners'
'These water stations are staffed by volunteers and we are very grateful to them for their work on Race Day.
'We always brief our volunteers not to get into altercations if this kind of thing happens. We'll investigate this further.'

Visit our blog www.redbrickinawall.co.uk - we would like to capture peoples memories of buildings in Manchester.
A short documentary film we made thanks to AGMA, Panda Arts and Union Street Media about London Road Fire Station in Manchester.
We had the pleasure to interview fire officers who lived and worked at the building when it functioned as an International Fire Training House and Station, Police Station and Coroner's Office from it's inception in 1908.
In 1983 the "Finest Fire Station in the World" was vacated by the Fire Brigade and has been uninhabited since. Bought by Britannia Hotels, a long battle has been fought by members of the public and Manchester City Council for the company to put the building into use.
This hope never materialised resulting in the formation of a new civic campaign group, Friends of London Road Fire Station, who launched a new call to action to save the building.
After 3 years of innovative campaigning the building has now been sold to Allied London. Adam Prince, Secretary of Friends of London Road Firestation and Mike Ingall, CEO of Allied London have both been nominated for the Manchester Evening News Cultural Hero Award.

This is the shocking moment a group of people including parents with children were seen stealing bottles of water from London marathon runners.
The mob were pictured descending on tables laid out with liquid just after the 26.2 mile event started.
Eyewitnesses say a group of opportunistic thieves started stealing the bottles minutes after the front runners had passed through.
One man even brought a trolley with him to pile up crates of the water which should have been much needed refreshment for the athletes.

St. Pancras is a central London railway terminus and Grade I listed building located on Euston Road in the St Pancras area of the London Borough of Camden.
This film features footage of and within London St. Pancras Railway Station. It begins with shots from Euston Road of the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, before going inside to see a piano player on one of the several pianos left around the station for the public to enjoy.
From here footage includes platforms 1 and 2 where two East Midlands Trains inter-city services are in the platform, a Class 43 Inter City 125, and a Bombardier Class 222.
Footage then concentrates on some of the artworks in St. Pancras, including the ornate clock, Paul Day's sculpture 'The Meeting Place', the John Betjemen statue and a 20 by 10 metre mosaic called Chromolocomotion by the Scottish artist David Batchelor, which is made up of 44 pieces of brightly coloured Perspex.
From here the film goes to the High Speed 1 Southeastern Class 395 Javelin trains, along with their International neighbours the Class 373 Eurostar Trains.

London Marylebone Station, also known as London Marylebone is a central London railway terminus and London Underground complex. It stands midway between the main line stations at Euston and Paddington, about 1 mile (1.6 km) from each. Originally the London terminus of the former Great Central Main Line to Sheffield and Manchester, which was closed north of Aylesbury in 1966, it now serves as the terminus of the Chiltern Main Line route to Birmingham.
Marylebone is the Central London terminus for Chiltern Railways which provides a large number of commuter/regional services approximately due north-west principally along the M40 corridor to destinations in Buckinghamshire, parts of Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and the West Midlands.
Opened in 1899, it is the youngest of London's main line terminal stations, and also one of the smallest, having opened with half the number of platforms originally planned. It is also the only London terminal station to host only diesel trains, having no electrified lines. From 1967 for many years it was served only by diesel multiple-unit trains (DMUs). It now once again also sees locomotive-hauled trains daily.
Two new platforms were added in 2006 to accommodate increases in services and passengers. Marylebone is in Travelcard Zone 1.
The station stands just north of Marylebone Road, a straight thoroughfare through Marylebone, central London. It is in the northern Lisson Grove neighbourhood of the district in a northern projection of the Bryanston and Dorset Square ward immediately south of St Johns Wood. North-east is Regent's Park, north in a network of mostly residential streets is Lord's Cricket Ground and south, south-west and south-east are a mixed use network of streets including Baker Street which has notable shopping, entertainment and Madame Tussauds.

The London station group is a ring of 18 railway stations served by the National Rail network in central London, England. Most are terminal stations, although a few are through-stations or have a combination of terminal and through platforms. Each distinct station is part of a notional "common location" to which tickets from stations outside that group are issued. The station group is rendered on tickets as London Terminals.
All current stations in the group are in London fare zone 1. The large number of terminal stations is explained by the refusal of Parliament to allow railway lines to enter the centre of London in the 19th century, causing them to form a ring, connected by underground railways. The majority of the larger stations managed by Network Rail are in the group.

In the ticketing system of the British rail network, tickets are normally issued to and from individual stations. In some instances, when there is more than one station in a town or other locality—especially where these are on different routes—it may be desirable for passengers to be able to travel to one station and back from another, or more generally to be able to choose which of the stations they wish to travel to. To accommodate this requirement, British Rail introduced a series of station groups: notional "common locations" to which tickets from stations outside that group would be issued.
For example, Penge in South London has two stations: Penge East and Penge West. The former is served by trains from London Victoria to Orpington; the latter is on the route from London Bridge to West Croydon. For a traveller arriving at, for example, a London terminal station and intending to go to Penge, it makes little difference which route is chosen. Both stations are close together and serve the same area. Therefore, a ticket issued specifically to one of the Penge stations would be unduly restrictive—it would remove the opportunity to travel by a choice of equally convenient routes. A notional "Penge group" solves this problem: a ticket issued in this way would be interavailable.

Hugh Brasher, Event Director for London Marathon Events Ltd, said: 'It's very disappointing to see water being stolen in this way from the official water stations for our runners' 'These water stations are staffed by volunteers and we are very grateful to them for their work on Race Day. A short documentary film we made thanks to AGMA, Panda Arts and Union Street Media about London Road Fire Station in Manchester. We had the pleasure to interview fire officers who lived and worked at the building when it functioned as an International Fire Training House and Station, Police Station and Coroner's Office from it's inception in 1908. In 1983 the "Finest Fire Station in the World" was vacated by the Fire Brigade and has been uninhabited since. Bought by Britannia Hotels, a long battle has been fought by members of the public and Manchester City Council for the company to put the building into use. A short documentary film we made thanks to AGMA, Panda Arts and Union Street Media about London Road Fire Station in Manchester.
We had the pleasure to interview fire officers who lived and worked at the building when it functioned as an International Fire Training House and Station, Police Station and Coroner's Office from it's inception in 1908.
In 1983 the "Finest Fire Station in the World" was vacated by the Fire Brigade and has been uninhabited since. Bought by Britannia Hotels, a long battle has been fought by members of the public and Manchester City Council for the company to put the building into use.
This hope never materialised resulting in the formation of a new civic campaign group, Friends of London Road Fire Station, who launched a new call to action to save the building.
After 3 years of innovative campaigning the building has now been sold to Allied London. Adam Prince, Secretary of Friends of London Road Firestation and Mike Ingall, CEO of Allied London have both been nominated for the Manchester Evening News Cultural Hero Award.

This film features footage of and within London St. Pancras Railway Station. It begins with shots from Euston Road of the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, before going inside to see a piano player on one of the several pianos left around the station for the public to enjoy.
From here footage includes platforms 1 and 2 where two East Midlands Trains inter-city services are in the platform, a Class 43 Inter City 125, and a Bombardier Class 222.
Footage then concentrates on some of the artworks in St. Pancras, including the ornate clock, Paul Day's sculpture 'The Meeting Place', the John Betjemen statue and a 20 by 10 metre mosaic called Chromolocomotion by the Scottish artist David Batchelor, which is made up of 44 pieces of brightly coloured Perspex.
From here the film goes to the High Speed 1 Southeastern Class 395 Javelin trains, along with their International neighbours the Class 373 Eurostar Trains.

Video taken by bystanders shows the attacker slash at a man seconds before the first police officer arrives. Witnesses say the man yelled "this is for Syria", before the police officer fired a stun gun on the man from several meters away, to no effect. Another officer arrived and one used a stun gun to bring the attacker down. They then arrested him.
The most seriously injured man sustained non-threatening injuries, the BBC reports.
Commander Richard Walton, head of London police's counter-terror unit said in a press statement, "We are treating this as a terrorist incident. I would urge the public to remain calm, but alert and vigilant. The threat from terrorism remains at severe, which means that a terrorist attack is highly likely."
The incident will calls to mind the May 2013 murder of British army soldier Lee Rigby, who was killed by two Muslim converts in a daylight machete attack, also in London.

WATCH ABOVE: Police in London, England are treating a knife attack at a tube station as a terrorist attack.
LONDON – A stabbing at a London Underground station is being treated as “terrorist incident,” the London police said Saturday.
The London police counterterror command said in a statement that it is investigating the incident at Leytonstone Underground station in east London in which a man was threatening people with a knife at around 7 p.m. (1900 GMT; 2 p.m. EST). One person sustained serious injuries and two other received minor injuries.
One person was arrested. Police said a stun gun was used.
“We are treating this as a terrorist incident. I would urge the public to remain calm, but alert and vigilant,” said Commander Richard Walton, who leads the counter-terrorism unit. “The threat from terrorism remains at severe, which means that a terrorist attack is highly likely.
Police appealed to anyone near the attack and who might have photos or video of the incident to contact police.
The stabbing comes only days after Britain’s Parliament gave overwhelming approval to authorizing the military to conduct airstrikes on Islamic State group targets in Syria.

WATCH ABOVE: Police in London, England are treating a knife attack at a tube station as a terrorist attack.
LONDON – A stabbing at a London Underground station is being treated as “terrorist incident,” the London police said Saturday.
The London police counterterror command said in a statement that it is investigating the incident at Leytonstone Underground station in east London in which a man was threatening people with a knife at around 7 p.m. (1900 GMT; 2 p.m. EST). One person sustained serious injuries and two other received minor injuries.
One person was arrested. Police said a stun gun was used.
“We are treating this as a terrorist incident. I would urge the public to remain calm, but alert and vigilant,” said Commander Richard Walton, who leads the counter-terrorism unit. “The threat from terrorism remains at severe, which means that a terrorist attack is highly likely.
Police appealed to anyone near the attack and who might have photos or video of the incident to contact police.
The stabbing comes only days after Britain’s Parliament gave overwhelming approval to authorizing the military to conduct airstrikes on Islamic State group targets in Syria.

Dan Freedman spent time with Flex FM, a south London broadcaster who have been broadcasting across London on and off since 1992 playing underground dance music.
They spoke to three people who install the aerials and rigs which transmit across town, then speak to Becky who talks about the day to day running of the radio station, losing broadcasting equipment to the regulator Ofcom.
Pirate radio continues to be a huge risk for broadcasters and the people that help to operate the stations.
