Museum Campus is a 57-acre (23 ha) park in Chicago that sits alongside Lake Michigan and encompasses five of the city's most notable attractions: the Adler Planetarium, America's first planetarium; the Shedd Aquarium; the Field Museum of Natural History; Soldier Field, home of the NFL Chicago Bears football team; and the Lakeside Center of McCormick Place. Museum Campus is being expanded to include the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art by legendary filmmaker George Lucas. Museum Campus sits adjacent to Northerly Island along the waterfront.
The Museum Campus was created to transform the vicinity of three of the city's most notable museums -the Adler Planetarium, the Shedd Aquarium, and the Field Museum of Natural History- which are among the city's top cultural draws, along with Soldier Field stadium into a scenic pedestrian-friendly area. The area is landscaped with greenery and flora as well as jogging paths and walkways. A picturesque promenade along Solidarity Drive, an isthmus, links Northerly Island to the mainland. The drive itself is lined with a number of grand bronze monuments commemorating Kościuszko, Havliček, and Nicholas Copernicus, the last of which is a replica of a famous 19th-century work in Warsaw by Danish sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen.
The Low Floor Series (LFS) bus is a series of transit buses manufactured by NovaBus for North American customers. After taking over the former GM bus plant in St Eustache, Quebec, from MCI in 1993, Novabus management was invited by the Quebec government to design and produce a low-floor bus similar to a current trend on the European transit market. Novabus chose to adapt the Dutch Den Oudsten Alliance low floor bus for the North American market. A demo bus along with some engineering staff were sent from Holland; however by 1994 Den Oudsten was in financial trouble and was not able to further collaborate with Novabus which in turn had to design a low-floor bus from scratch. Still trying to reduce that jello effect and vibration more. If anyone knows the best way to do that please comment below. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed!

We went up the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) and I braved up and did a hand stand 103 stories in the air! It was terrifying but I'm glad I can use that as an ice breaker now. Afterwards we went to grab some White Castle, as we had watched Harold and Kumar go to White Castle the night before. 8 burgers later, I grabbed some tasty avocado boba (recommended by Jeco) for our trip to Grant Park &/or Museum campus. We didn't want to spend any more money so we just embraced the beauty of the park/landscape/art around the area. ↳ Previous VLOG: https://www.youtube.com/watc...
