Body scan meditation is a type of
Vipassana meditation that helps to expand awareness to the mind and body. It can beneficially help quiet the mind and release stress and tension, and can improve focused attention and concentration. Using mainly brainwave entrainment pure tones for our track simply called “Body Scan
Meditation”, this audio is embedded with binaural beats ranging from 7.83Hz to 14Hz, and are associated with inner-awareness of self, mind and body balancing, relaxed states of consciousness, can boost moods and lower blood pressure.
Simple basic technique in doing the Body Scan is to lie down comfortably, palms up and with closed eyes focus on your breathing which will help to reduce stress. For each exhale that you do, stop and focus on each part of your body.
Become aware of your body, starting from your toes, up to your torso, through your arms and hands, back towards the chest, neck and lastly head area until you reach your crown area. The objective is to scan through your body using your mind’s eye and sensations and see it as a whole, balanced being.
Listen with headphones to achieve the best brainwave entrainment result, and always keep the volume at a comfortable low setting.
Try it out for yourself, simply meditate, by clearing all thoughts from your mind and focusing on the tone.

Binaural beats, or binaural tones, are auditory processing artifacts, or apparent sounds, caused by specific physical stimuli. This effect was discovered in 1839 by
Heinrich Wilhelm Dove and earned greater public awareness in the late
20th century based on claims coming from the alternative medicine community that binaural beats could help induce relaxation, meditation, creativity and other desirable mental states. The effect on the brainwaves depends on the
difference in frequencies of each tone: for example, if
300 Hz was played in one ear and
310 in the other, then the binaural beat would have a frequency of 10 Hz
