This video is really good to watch if you are studying about American Revolution. Moses' brother Cato, fighting for his own freedom, serves as a soldier for the British and is sent into harm's way by Cornwallis' inhuman racist orders. Aided by a sympathetic Hessian soldier, Cato escapes with his life. Moses joins the American mining corps, which is a group of men who dig tunnels and build walls needed in battle, and tries unsuccessfully to find Cato. Sarah, James and Henri witness the siege and victory at Yorktown. Sara writes a letter to Moses from Yorktown describing the preparations for a battle. She also informs him that his brother Cato is fighting for the British. Meanwhile, the French fleet is crossing a stormy Atlantic to help their American allies. In New York, the American soldiers are preparing for a march to New York City, unaware that they will be heading to Yorktown in Virginia. In Yorktown, British soldiers are dying of heat exhaustion prompting General Cornwallis to order all the black soldiers to fortify the stronghold. In Philadelphia, General Washington and his troops along with James march through the city amidst cheering crowds. Moses insists on joining them to the march to Yorktown. Meanwhile, Admiral Degrass and his fleet engages the British and sends them running. Washington finally arrives in Virginia and reunites with Lafayette. Then, the Allies discuss their plans for the siege of Yorktown. The next day the British discover that they are surrounded. The battle begins as Sara, James, and Henri find a safe place to watch it from. As the battle rages, realizing that they might be defeated, the black soldiers fighting for the British, run for it including Cato. On October 17, 1781, the British finally surrender.
