The Catholic Church, also known as the Roman Catholic Church, is the largest Christian church, with more than 1.25 billion members worldwide. One of the oldest religious institutions in the world, it has played a prominent role in the history of Western civilisation.Headed by the Bishop of Rome, known as the Pope, its doctrines are summarised in the Nicene Creed. The Catholic Church is also notable within the Western Christian tradition for its celebration of the seven sacraments.
The Catholic Church teaches that it is the one true church founded by Jesus Christ, that its bishops are the successors of Christ's apostles, and that the Pope is the successor to Saint Peter. The Church maintains that the doctrine on faith and morals that it declares as definitive is infallible. The Latin Church, the autonomous Eastern Catholic Churches and religious institutes such as the Jesuits, mendicant orders and enclosed monastic orders, reflect a variety of theological emphases in the Church.
Jesuit was an American rock band from Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Jesuit formed in 1995 with drummer J. How, bassist Brett Matthews, and guitarists Nate Newton (ex-Channel) and Kelly Posadas. In 1996 the group released a self-titled 7" vinyl EP produced by Kurt Ballou through Reservoir Records. The CD version of the EP also featured the three song's from Jesuit's demo tape as bonus tracks. In 1998, Jesuit toured North America with Botch and The Dillinger Escape Plan. The group traded out Kelly Posadas for Brian Benoit, and released a second self-titled 7" EP through Hydra Head Records in 1999—again produced by Ballou. Jesuit disbanded later in 1999.
After the break up, Nate Newton and Brian Benoit moved to Massachusetts and either joined or formed new bands. Newton would go on to perform in Converge, Old Man Gloom and Doomriders. Benoit performed with The Dillinger Escape Plan until severe nerve damage in his arm made it difficult for him to play his instrument.
Exposed is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Kristinia DeBarge, released on July 28, 2009 by Island Records and Sodapop Records. Its music incorporates pop and R&B styles. The album debuted at number 23 on the US Billboard 200 with 16,539 copies sold the first week. DeBarge began recording the album in 2008, and had been writing the album since 2006. The album features production and writing from the likes of Babyface and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder amongst others.
The album spawned three different singles. The first of these singles, titled "Goodbye" has become DeBarge's biggest hit to date. The song reached the Top 20 in the Hot 100, Canada, as well as the Australian Hitseekers Chart. It also charted fairly well in countries such as Sweden. The second single was "Sabotage", which was released on August 18, 2009. Originally, the song was to be released along with "Future Love", however, those plans were scrapped, and "Sabotage" became the stand-alone second single. Despite the success of her previous single, "Sabotage" failed to chart on any chart worldwide. The third single, "Future Love" (featuring rapper Pitbull), was released on November 10, 2009. The single became her second consecutive single to miss out on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, however, it did peak at number 25 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 singles chart.
Exposed is a live double album by Mike Oldfield, released in 1979.
The album was a collection of Oldfield's tours in Spain, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark and England from March to April 1979. It peaked at #16 on the UK Album Chart.
A double CD version was later released. A DVD version of the concert, recorded at Wembley Conference Centre, was released in 2005.
Initially during the tour the concerts were being recorded without the knowledge of the musicians, so that they could be paid less money; for just a performance and not a recording, the musicians found out, but the recordings went ahead and the album was produced.
The artwork is linked to the title, as it shows a frame of film containing a photo of Oldfield in a concert arena. Among the choir singers were members of the Queen's College, London choir.
The album was recorded using The Manor Studio's Mobile unit, and mixed at The Town House, London. Although not marketed as such, the double vinyl album was recorded in quad using the SQ Quadraphonic System.

Warhammer 40,000 (informally known as Warhammer 40K, WH40K or simply 40K) is a tabletop miniature wargame produced by Games Workshop, set in a dystopian science-fantasy universe. Warhammer 40,000 was created by Rick Priestley in 1987 as the futuristic companion to Warhammer Fantasy Battle, sharing many game mechanics. Expansions for Warhammer 40,000 are released periodically which give rules for urban, planetary siege and large-scale combat. The game is in its seventh edition, which was released on May 24, 2014.
Players can assemble and paint individual, 28-millimetre (1.1 in) scale miniature figures that represent futuristic soldiers, creatures and vehicles of war. These figurines are collected to comprise squads in armies that can be pitted against those of other players. Each player brings a roughly equal complement of units to a tabletop battlefield with handmade or purchased terrain. The players then decide upon a scenario, ranging from simple skirmishes to complex battles involving defended objectives and reinforcements. The models are physically moved around the table and the actual distance between models plays a role in the outcome of combat. Play is turn-based, with various outcomes determined by tables and the roll of dice. Battles may last anywhere from a half-hour to a whole weekend, and battles may be strung together to form campaigns. Many game and hobby stores host games, and official gaming events are held on a regular basis, such as the Throne of Skulls.
A referee is the person of authority in a variety of sports who is responsible for presiding over the game from a neutral point of view and making on-the-fly decisions that enforce the rules of the sport, including sportsmanship decisions such as ejection. The official tasked with this job may be known, in addition to referee, by a variety of other titles as well (often depending on the sport), including umpire, judge, arbiter, arbitrator, linesman, commissaire, timekeeper, touch judge or Technical Official (by the International Olympic Committee).
The term referee originated in association football. Originally the team captains would consult with each other in order to resolve any dispute on the pitch. Eventually this role was delegated to an umpire. Each team would bring their own partisan umpire allowing the team captains to concentrate on the game. Later, the referee, a third "neutral" official was added, this referee would be "referred to" if the umpires could not resolve a dispute. The referee did not take his place on the pitch until 1891, when the umpires became linesmen (now assistant referees). Today, in many amateur football matches, each side will still supply their own partisan assistant referees (still commonly called club linesmen) to assist the neutral referee appointed by the governing football association if one or both assistant referees are not provided. In this case, the role of the linesmen is limited to indicating out of play and cannot decide off side.
