Aun

Aun the Old (Aun inn gamli, latinized Auchun, English: "Edwin the Old") mythical Swedish king of the House of Yngling in the Heimskringla. Aun was the son of Jorund, and had ten sons, nine of which he was said to have sacrificed in order to prolong his own life. Based on the internal chronology of the House of Yngling, Aun would have died late in the 5th century. He was succeeded by his son Egil Vendelcrow (Íslendingabók: Egill Vendilkráka) identified with Ongentheow of the Beowulf narrative and placed in the early 6th century.

Ynglingatal

Ruling from his seat in Uppsala, Aun was reputedly a wise king who made sacrifices to the gods. However, he was not of a warlike disposition and preferred to live in peace. He was attacked and defeated by the Danish prince Halfdan. Aun fled to the Geats in Västergötland, where he stayed for 25 years until Halfdan died in his bed in Uppsala.

Upon Halfdan's death Aun returned to Uppsala. Aun was now 60 years old, and in an attempt to live longer he sacrificed his son to Odin, who had promised that this would mean he would live for another 60 years. After 25 years, Aun was attacked by Halfdan's cousin Ale the Strong. Aun lost several battles and had to flee a second time to Västergötland. Ale the Strong ruled in Uppsala for 25 years until he was killed by Starkad the old.

Así

Así is the fifth studio album by Benny Ibarra in which he worked with different musicians such as Erik Rubin. It was certified Gold in the first week. The singles were "Cada Paso" and "Dejalo Ir". A limited edition contained a DVD with the videoclip of "Cada Paso", behind the scenes and making of the album.

Bob Ross

Robert Norman "Bob" Ross (October 29, 1942 – July 4, 1995) was an American painter, art instructor, and television host. He was best known as the creator and host of The Joy of Painting, an instructional television program that aired from 1983 to 1994 on PBS in the United States, and also aired in Canada, Latin America and Europe.

Biography

Early life

Ross was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, and raised in Orlando, Florida. He had a half-brother, Jim, whom he mentioned in passing on his show. While working as a carpenter with his father, Ross lost part of his left index finger, but it did not affect the way he held his palette while painting.

Personal life

Ross had two sons, Bob and Steven, with his first wife, Lynda Brown. Steven occasionally appeared on The Joy of Painting and became a Ross-certified instructor. The last episode of Season 1 was a question-and-answer forum in which Steven read a series of general "how-to" questions sent in by viewers during the season, and Bob answered them one at a time, technique by technique, until he had completed an entire painting.

J Alvarez

Javid David Álvarez Fernández (born December 13, 1983 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico) known artistically as J Alvarez is a Puerto Rican reggaetón singer.

Musical career

Fernandez was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on December 13, 1983. Both of his parents are from the Dominican Republic. When Alvarez was 12 years old he sang in front of several of his classmates and teachers, his first ever song "Lo Que Ella Trae" (What She Brings). He listened to many artists from the reggaeton genre, and paid much respect to artist Tego Calderon. Then, through his cousin, he met with DJ Nelson, and a working chemistry soon emerged between the two. He was then signed to Flow Music in 2009. Later that year, his debut album El Dueño Del Sistema was released. A special edition was later released on January 7, 2010. Otro Nivel De Musica, his second studio album was released on September 20, 2011 and featured the hit single "La Pregunta". A special edition was later released on May 1, 2012, titled Otro Nivel De Musica Reloaded. This album was very well received among fans and was nominated for Best Urban Music Album at the 2012 Latin Grammy Awards.
