Roberto Telch

Roberto "Oveja" Telch (November 6, 1943 – October 12, 2014) was an Argentine footballer. He was born in San Vicente, Córdoba, and won four league championships with San Lorenzo in Argentina and represented the Argentina national football team at the 1974 FIFA World Cup. He died in Buenos Aires of a heart attack.

Playing career

Telch started his professional career in a 3-2 win against Ferro Carril Oeste on September 9, 1962. He was first selected to play for the Argentina national team in 1964 when he played in the 1964 Cup of Nations.

In 1968 Telch won his first title with San Lorenzo, winning the Metropolitano, and becoming the first team in the professional era of Argentine football to complete a season without losing a game.

In 1972 Telch was part of the San Lorenzo team that won both of the Argentine league titles, this time they completed the Nacional championship without losing a game.

Telch won his fourth title with San Lorenzo in 1974, the club won the Nacional championship. Telch is one of only five players to have won four league championships with San Lorenzo, the others being Sergio Villar, Victorio Cocco, Carlos Veglio and Agustín Irusta.

Las Ovejas

Las Ovejas is a town located in Minas Department, in Neuquén Province, Argentina.

Geography

The town is located 38 km from Andacollo capital city of the department Minas, 96 km from Chos Malal the capital city of Minas Department and 492 km from Neuquén, the capital city of Neuquén Province.

Lagoons and Rivers

The Neuquén River and the Nahueve River flow near the town, and there is an aggrupation of lagoons called Epulaufquen lagoons.

Population

In the 2001 census Las Ovejas recorded a population of 971 inhabitants, an increment of 42,5% after the 1991 census were recorded 685 inhabitants.

Tourism

Las Ovejas is a growing touristic spot, the major attraction to the area is based in Fishing in the lagoons few kilometers away from the town. The local fish species in the lagoon are silversides, European perchs, Rainbow Trouts, and Trouts. The Mirador de la Puntilla is a located 6 kilometers from the town, a 120 m gateway were tourists can see the Neuquén river, the Cordillera del Viento (Wind Mountain range) and the Domuyo volcano.
