Leningradskaya (rural locality)
Leningradskaya (Russian: Ленингра́дская) is a rural locality (a stanitsa) and the administrative center of Leningradsky District in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. Population: 36,940 (2010 Census); 38,218 (2002 Census); 34,554 (1989 Census).
History
Founded in 1794 as Umanskoye (Уманское), it was one of the first forty settlements by the Black Sea Cossacks in the Kuban region. It became a stanitsa in 1842.
Umanskoye survived the fall of 1932 and the winter of 1933, when hundreds of residents starved to death. In 1934, all the surviving population (1,200 families) was evicted in the northern regions of the Soviet Union and to Kazakhstan. In their stead, the stanitsa was repopulated by families from the Belarusian and Leningrad military districts and its name was changed to Leningradskaya.

Finally! What you were waiting for so much - typical supermarket in the RURALS of Russia. Visiting “Pyaterochka” and “Magnit” grocery supermarkets in Boksitogorsk, a provincial Russian town, located 500km far from Moscow and 250km far from St Petersburg. One of the most delusional and biggest stereotypes about Russia is that there is no life (good life) in 100+km from Moscow and St Petersburg. In particular, let’s say, one of the most popular delusional comments to my grocery supermarkets in St Petersburg, and I saw the same in the comments to Travelling with Russell supermarket videos in Moscow, is that those supermarkets are the “museums” - some of the supermarkets to show off that the western sanctions got no any impact on them. In the 12th-15th centuries, the territory was divided between the Kingdom of Sweden and Novgorod Republic (see Swedish-Novgorodian Wars) and populated mostly by various Baltic Finns people such as Karelians (northwest), Izhorians and Votes (west), Vepsians (east), as well as Ilmen Slavs of Novgorod (south).
3. The capital and largest city is Gatchina.
4. The Great Gatchina Palace is a palace in Gatchina, Leningrad Oblast, Russia. It was built from 1766 to 1781 by Antonio Rinaldi for Count Grigori Grigoryevich Orlov, who was a favourite of Catherine the Great.
5. Staraya Ladoga, the first capital of legendary Rurik, founded in the 8th-9th century, is situated in the east of the oblast.
6. On November 30, 1939, the Soviet Union waged the Winter War against neighbouring Finland and with the Moscow Peace Treaty in 1940 gained some territories, including the Karelian Isthmus. Their Karelian population was hastily evacuated to inner Finland and later replaced with people from other parts of the Soviet Union. A small part of the territory (the municipalities of Kanneljärvi, Koivisto and Rautu) was incorporated into Leningrad Oblast, the rest being included within the Karelo-Finnish Soviet Socialist Republic.
7. Vyborg is a town in Leningrad Oblast. The center of Vyborg preserves many examples of medieval Swedish architecture, unique for Russia.

5. Staraya Ladoga, the first capital of legendary Rurik, founded in the 8th-9th century, is situated in the east of the oblast.
6. On November 30, 1939, the Soviet Union waged the Winter War against neighbouring Finland and with the Moscow Peace Treaty in 1940 gained some territories, including the Karelian Isthmus. Their Karelian population was hastily evacuated to inner Finland and later replaced with people from other parts of the Soviet Union. A small part of the territory (the municipalities of Kanneljärvi, Koivisto and Rautu) was incorporated into Leningrad Oblast, the rest being included within the Karelo-Finnish Soviet Socialist Republic.
7. Vyborg is a town in Leningrad Oblast. The center of Vyborg preserves many examples of medieval Swedish architecture, unique for Russia.

Vsevolozhsk is a town and the administrative center of Vsevolozhsky District in Leningrad Oblast, Russia, located on the Karelian Isthmus 24 kilometers (15 mi) east of St. Petersburg.
Within the framework of administrative divisions, Vsevolozhsk serves as the administrative center of Vsevolozhsky District. As an administrative division, it is, together with three rural localities, incorporated within Vsevolozhsky District as Vsevolozhskoye Settlement Municipal Formation. As a municipal division, Vsevolozhskoye Settlement Municipal Formation is incorporated within Vsevolozhsky Municipal District as Vsevolozhskoye Urban Settlement
In Vsevolozhsk, there are three railway stations, Berngardovka, Vsevolozhskaya, and Melnichny Ruchey. Southbound trains arrive to Finlyandsky Rail Terminal in St. Petersburg. Northbound suburban trains terminate on the stations Nevskaya Dubrovka or Ladozhskoye Ozero. Melnichny Ruchey also serves as the terminal station for suburban trains.
Vsevolozhsk is essentially a suburb of St. Petersburg and is included in the suburban road network.

Visiting “Pyaterochka” and “Magnit” grocery supermarkets in Boksitogorsk, a provincial Russian town, located 500km far from Moscow and 250km far from St Petersburg.
One of the most delusional and biggest stereotypes about Russia is that there is no life (good life) in 100+km from Moscow and St Petersburg.
In particular, let’s say, one of the most popular delusional comments to my grocery supermarkets in St Petersburg, and I saw the same in the comments to Travelling with Russell supermarket videos in Moscow, is that those supermarkets are the “museums” - some of the supermarkets to show off that the western sanctions got no any impact on them.
And those commenters, who never been to Russia though, however, were saying that need to go 100km far from Moscow to a typical Russian town where there is no anything like in Moscow, St Petersburg and maybe several more of major cities of Russia.
So, here we are.
Boksitogorsk - 500km from Moscow, 250km from St Petersburg, the population is only 16,500 residents, a very average Russian town 90% of even Russians never heard of.

1. Leningrad Oblast is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast). The oblast was named after the city of Leningrad. In 1991, the city restored its original name, Saint Petersburg, but the oblast retains the name of Leningrad.

In the 12th-15th centuries, the territory was divided between the Kingdom of Sweden and Novgorod Republic (see Swedish-Novgorodian Wars) and populated mostly by various Baltic Finns people such as Karelians (northwest), Izhorians and Votes (west), Vepsians (east), as well as Ilmen Slavs of Novgorod (south).
3. The capital and largest city is Gatchina.
4. The Great Gatchina Palace is a palace in Gatchina, Leningrad Oblast, Russia. It was built from 1766 to 1781 by Antonio Rinaldi for Count Grigori Grigoryevich Orlov, who was a favourite of Catherine the Great.
