This is the second Airbus A320neo in commercial operations with Lufthansa.
The Airbus A320neo family is a series of airliners developed since December 2010 by Airbus, with the suffix "neo" meaning "new engine option". It is the last step of the A320 Enhanced (A320E) modernisation programme, which was started in 2006. The A320neo replaces the original A320 family, which is now referred to as A320ceo, for "current engine option".
In addition to the new engines, the modernisation programme also included such improvements as: aerodynamic refinements, large curved winglets (sharklets), weight savings, a new aircraft cabin with larger hand luggage spaces, and an improved air purification system. Customers will have a choice of either the CFM International LEAP-1A or the Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines.
These improvements in combination are predicted to result in 15% less fuel consumption per aircraft, 8% lower operating costs, less noise production, and a reduction of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by at least 10% compared to the A320 series, as well as an increase in range of approximately 500 nautical miles (900 km).[A rearranged cabin allows up to 20 more passengers enabling in total over 20% less fuel consumption per seat.
Airbus has firm orders for the A320neo family totalling 4,471 as of December 2015.[10] The first A320neo rolled out of the Airbus factory in Toulouse on 1 July 2014.The first flight of the aircraft took place on 25 September 2014. A joint type certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency and the Federal Aviation Administration was received on 24 November 2015.

This is my longest travel video to date! It was the first flight of the evening to London Heathrow with British Airways and it was completely sold out! I was very surprised when I saw how early we pushed back and I didn't expect it to take an hour to taxi to the runway! I knew JFK was busy, but this was shocking! Everyone really started getting restless after a while. When we finally took off we see an extraordinary, purple lighting! Unfortunately, we ended up missing our connection in London due to the delay. Skip to 30:30 to see an astonishing effect from the sun! Enjoy the video guys :D

This Kalitta Air Boeing 747-200 operated a charter flight from Chicago to Maastricht (Netherlands). Afterwards the pilots ferried the B747-200 to Amsterdam which is a 20 minutes flight. It´ s always nice to see Heavies rotating that early, especially when it` s a classic Boeing 747. The registiration is N794CK
This airframe started its life with United Airlines in 1987. Thereafter Northwest took it over. Northwest converted this 747-200 to a Freighter Aircraft and in 2010 Kalitta took over this classic freighter.

Birmingham Airport. The world's largest passenger airplane Airbus a380 Emirates Airline spectacular departure on the first historic flight. Today the weather was very windy and rainy plus gusty storms but hundreds of spectators still gathered close to the airport to see the arrival and stunning takeoff.
A380s will now fly to Dubai from Birmingham BHX Airport daily for the first time. The flights are aimed at business and leisure travellers to Dubai, as well as commuters to a variety of Eastern destinations including Auckland, Islamabad, Bangkok, Mumbai and Hong Kong.
The water spray during takeoff was something special effect.

Birmingham Airport. The world's largest passenger airplane Airbus a380 Emirates Airline spectacular departure on the first historic flight. Today the weather was very windy and rainy plus gusty storms but hundreds of spectators still gathered close to the airport to see the arrival and stunning takeoff. A380s will now fly to Dubai from Birmingham BHX Airport daily for the first time. The flights are aimed at business and leisure travellers to Dubai, as well as commuters to a variety of Eastern destinations including Auckland, Islamabad, Bangkok, Mumbai and Hong Kong. The water spray during takeoff was something special effect. This is my longest travel video to date! It was the first flight of the evening to London Heathrow with British Airways and it was completely sold out! I was very surprised when I saw how early we pushed back and I didn't expect it to take an hour to taxi to the runway! I knew JFK was busy, but this was shocking! Everyone really started getting restless after a while. When we finally took off we see an extraordinary, purple lighting! Super FAST Boeing 747 Take-off
This Kalitta Air Boeing 747-200 operated a charter flight from Chicago to Maastricht (Netherlands). Afterwards the pilots ferried the B747-200 to Amsterdam which is a 20 minutes flight. It´ s always nice to see Heavies rotating that early, especially when it` s a classic Boeing 747. The registiration is N794CK This airframe started its life with United Airlines in 1987. Thereafter Northwest took it over. Northwest converted this 747-200 to a Freighter Aircraft and in 2010 Kalitta took over this classic freighter. Customers will have a choice of either the CFM International LEAP-1A or the Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines.
These improvements in combination are predicted to result in 15% less fuel consumption per aircraft, 8% lower operating costs, less noise production, and a reduction of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by at least 10% compared to the A320 series, as well as an increase in range of approximately 500 nautical miles (900 km).[A rearranged cabin allows up to 20 more passengers enabling in total over 20% less fuel consumption per seat.
Airbus has firm orders for the A320neo family totalling 4,471 as of December 2015.[10] The first A320neo rolled out of the Airbus factory in Toulouse on 1 July 2014.The first flight of the aircraft took place on 25 September 2014. A joint type certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency and the Federal Aviation Administration was received on 24 November 2015.
On 25 January 2016, the A320neo entered service with Lufthansa, the type's launch customer

This is my longest travel video to date! It was the first flight of the evening to London Heathrow with British Airways and it was completely sold out! I was very surprised when I saw how early we pushed back and I didn't expect it to take an hour to taxi to the runway! I knew JFK was busy, but this was shocking! Everyone really started getting restless after a while. When we finally took off we see an extraordinary, purple lighting! Unfortunately, we ended up missing our connection in London due to the delay. Skip to 30:30 to see an astonishing effect from the sun! Enjoy the video guys :D

It´ s always nice to see Heavies rotating that early, especially when it` s a classic Boeing 747. The registiration is N794CK
This airframe started its life with United Airlines in 1987. Thereafter Northwest took it over. Northwest converted this 747-200 to a Freighter Aircraft and in 2010 Kalitta took over this classic freighter.

Today the weather was very windy and rainy plus gusty storms but hundreds of spectators still gathered close to the airport to see the arrival and stunning takeoff.
A380s will now fly to Dubai from Birmingham BHX Airport daily for the first time. The flights are aimed at business and leisure travellers to Dubai, as well as commuters to a variety of Eastern destinations including Auckland, Islamabad, Bangkok, Mumbai and Hong Kong.
The water spray during takeoff was something special effect.

Manchester Airport Close Up Afternoon Take Off's | 23/06/15
This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, "RachaelMatt" 1080p HD! A brand new filming location and an all new perspective, different from anywhere else I've filmed. This is taken from the bottom end of RWY23L near the RWY05R threshold which is the perfect spot for catching the aircraft rotate. A perspective I've not yet caught quite a good as here. We chose a perfect day to explore this new location, in the morning they were arriving on RWY05R so we could witness the touchdowns first hand, but by lunchtime a wind direction change meant a runway swap onto the 23's so we then got the departures in the afternoon! A cockpit film including all procedures filmed in the cockpit of an Airbus A320-232 of Cyprus Airways, at the Second St Maarten, Skiathos Airport. This is no ordinary takeoff, as it was a Flap 3 shortfield takeoff with a Flex temperature of 46! That is because this is no ordinary runway either, as it is very short, very narrow, and is even sloped. The pilots were an inch from selecting TOGA thrust but changed to Flex 46 as it turned out to be just enough.
