http://www.recordingconnection.com/audio-program The world is obsessed with higher education; 'You have to go to college. College is so important.' We need to stop thinking like sheep, to be honest. I am not saying higher education is a bad thing necessarily, but it is highly overrated. It is a place to go, fine, if you want to continue partying and you want to meet lots of pretty girls or if you are into boys, you want to meet lots of pretty boys, whatever. It is a nice place to go socialize.
Higher education, for the most part in most careers, is not going to get you a job. I am not saying that you are not going to learn anything at an audio engineering or a music producing school; you will learn plenty. The trade schools are going to teach you good stuff. It is going to cost way more than you need to spend, but you are going to learn stuff. The bigger question is; what are you going to do with all that knowledge you acquired?
When I was teaching for the broadcasting school, I saw that the school did the opposite for even the talented people. In other words, what would happen is in those 50 students, you would have the 2 or 3 that were talented, but the problem was, they would finish the program, send out a few resumes, but never get a job so they actually get more discouraged about the profession. I have seen schools almost ruin a good artist.
Nobody cares that I went to the LA Recording School, Full Sail, the New York Film Academy, or NYU, frankly.
It is not a magical thing. It is not the piece of paper; look at me. In our business, a degree is almost a 'kick me' sign. 'Hello. I have never done this and here is the proof that I have never done it, this diploma. It says I graduated and I have never worked in the business.' It is not about degrees and diplomas, although we give people a diploma. That is never going to be what gets them a job. In fact, in our business, it is almost the opposite. I know this is hard for people to hear.
Listen, I have kids myself, and some parents want their kids to have a college degree. I get it. Then have them go to college and get a degree, frankly, in an entirely different profession if you want them to have a degree. Do not think that them getting a degree or certification is going to get them working in the arts. In the arts, you have to have talent and you have to have connections; that is what they look for in the arts. They look at talent. If you are trying to be a recording engineer, let me hear the demo. Let me hear that you have an ear.
The best way, in my opinion, to learn filmmaker is to do two things: One, go to Barnes and Noble and spend $500 on books, and two, go to a program like the program that I represent, The Film Connection, which places you one-on-one with a real director, a director who is making movies, commercials, documentaries, and industrials for a living.

When a job comes up at a recording studio, radio station, or film company, the HR person, if there is one, does not get on the phone and call Full Sail and say, 'Hello, Mr. Full Sail,' or 'Hello, Director of Musicians Institute, can we see your best students? We are having an open call and we are hiring. We are paying $40,000 or $50,000 a year, and we' ae hiring for audio engineers.' It does not happen.
If you ever see an ad for recording engineer or a film producer, first of all, if you ever see an ad, I always laugh and say, 'Do not apply because they are going to get barraged. They are going to get 3,000 applications in an afternoon.' What do they do?
They turn to the guy next to them, or the woman next to them and they say, 'Do you know any good audio engineers that will work for this amount of money? I am looking for somebody. Do you know anybody who has a good reel or a good demo, or someone I can trust?' That's what they do.
That is really the big part to about how a lot of our students end up getting jobs. They are there. If you are there when someone leaves, I can tell you as a CEO myself, I am always going to hire the guy who is right under my roof.
Swinghouse has been very kind to me. Swinghouse was where I first did my apprenticeship, and they have since gotten me a couple of paid jobs. Ultimately, I have been awarded a great opportunity as of late. I was asked to come and apprentice on the new Aerosmith record, which is currently being recorded at Swinghouse Studios, in West Hollywood, and I am very thankful for that.
I have gotten to meet a lot of very famous people here, but I have also been able to meet a lot of bands that I am a huge fan of, and work with them. I have gotten to work with Jack Douglas, I get to work with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, and it is just a dream come true, honestly. I would not trade this experience for anything else.
The only way you are ever going to break into the radio, music, or film business is if you are in the door of a company, learning, working, and paying your dues, which is exactly where we put you from day one.

It is great, I love talking to parents. One of the things that I hear quite a bit is, 'We are considering this other school because he is going to get a degree in audio engineering or a degree in music producing.
When you ask me, 'What are the point of diplomas for the music business?' I have to tell you the truth. There is no point. A diploma from Yale or NYU, for maybe business, that could mean something.
Diplomas for music, for audio engineering mean absolutely nothing. Do not be conned into thinking that your son or daughter's diploma means anything. It means nothing.
Even the diploma from The Recording Connection means nothing, nothing. What
means something, then? Let us be positive. Connections; who do you know and
what can you do? Connections and talent. How good are you at programming,
producing, recording, or making music?

The only people that guarantee you anything in life are charlatans, hucksters, and tricksters. Nobody is guaranteeing you a job. The Recording Connection is not guaranteeing you a job. What we are guaranteeing you is access as an apprentice.
The Recording Connection puts you in the door of a real recording studio. You become an apprentice, meaning you take a structured course curriculum and go in anywhere from 2, 4, or 5 times per week. You learn from the structured course curriculum.
Who is your teacher? The mentor; the guy who you want to one day hire you. Very simple, end of story, that is it. You are auditioning for him every day that you go in class at his recording studio. The only way you are ever going to break into the radio, music, or film business is if you are in the door of a company learning, working, and
paying your dues, which is exactly where we put you from day one.
After you are done with the Recording, Radio, or Film Connection program, if your mentor cannot hire you; and that does happen sometimes--in other words, is not a job available for you, but you have been a good student, your mentor is going to get on the phone for you. He is going to call around for you and hook you into other recording studios and connect you into other post production companies, and introduce you to other filmmakers, broadcasters, and companies that may need your services.

http://www.recordingconnection.com/too-good-to-be-true Music schools do not work, in my opinion. Music schools will get you educated, sure. I am not saying that they do not work to teach you what it is you think you want to know, but you have to ask yourself; at what price are you willing to pay for an education? If your objective is to get a career in music, film, or radio broadcasting, you are not going to get a career from a film, music school, or radio broadcasting school.
What they are going to do is take your money and they are going to educate. You are going to graduate from a music, film, or a radio school, and you are going to be in a heck of a lot of debt.
It is a lot simpler way to just handle it in 6 months in a real recording studio than it is to be a DJ and club promoter for 10 years, then reworking music retail, and then finally decide to go to a school and be $50,000 in debt.
It is thwarting your dream. If you get into $100,000 worth of debt, that means you are going to have to repay that debt, unless you are going to default. Is that what you want? On top of everything else, add another $400, $500, or $600 because you went to film or music school, and now you are bartending or waiting tables because they did not get you a job?
For pretty much the price of just my console classes that I took, where I got no one-on-one and maybe about a total of an hour or two of hands-on time a week, for only 4 weeks, for the entirety of what I paid for that, you could actually do this program.
Every one of us wants to drive a Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes, or an Audi. Are you willing to pay $300,000 to drive an Audi when you know you can get one for $30,000, $40,000, or $50,000? Of course not. Nobody is overpaying for an Audi, Porsche, or for those cars. Then why would you overpay to get educated for film or music? It is ridiculous, and it will kill your dreams.

Number one: Who do you know? This is essential. You must have contacts. That is why The Recording Connection is such a great school. That is why it is such a great apprenticeship program. It is all about introducing you to influential people, who either can hire you themselves, or know people. If somebody is looking for an assistant on the next U2 record or the next Aerosmith record, they are not going to just hire anybody, and they are certainly not going to be looking through resumes from Full Sail or Musician's Institute. What are they going to do? There is too much on the line, in other words. If Aerosmith is coming through the door, they want an
assistant they can trust. Someone that they know is going to show up on time, and not say something stupid. Someone who has got some experience, enough to help the audio engineer and the music producer get the job done. 'Who do you know?' is super important. Number one: Who do you know?
Number two: You need a good demo. You need to be able to show your work. Let us just continue with the example of an audio engineer, because it works for all three examples, even if you are a film maker; you can just plug it in there. You need a good demo. You need to have recorded a great band. It does not have to be a famous band, obviously. It could be a band that you saw at your local club or it could be your brother's band. This is where your studio comes in. Then you take that band into the studio that you had just trained at, as an apprentice. You say to your mentor, 'Can I
produce this? Can I audio engineer this, and will you help me?' They will, if they like you. You do that 1, 2, 3, or 100 times, until you get the demo that you are proud of.
The third thing that you need after you graduate from The Recording, Radio, and Film Connection is trust. You need to be a trusted apprentice. Can they trust that you are going to be there on time and show up and know what to do, and show up and say the right things?
The fourth thing you need after you graduate from the The Recording, Radio, or Film Connection is; 'Who have you worked for?' You need a resume. Who have you apprenticed under? Who can I call to verify that you are not a crazy person?
Number 5 connects to number 4, 'Who have you worked for?' Are you a pain in the butt? Nobody likes a diva This is not 1983 anymore, where you can throw furniture. There as too many people, the market is saturated. You show up and you are a pain in the butt to work with, I do not care who you are . . . I know famous film directors. I am not going to mention any names, but we have all seen their movies, they do not work anymore. They had a great career, making seven figures, who do not work anymore because they are pains in the butt. That may have worked in 1975 or 1983; it was mysterious, it was weird, 'He is an artist.' It does not work anymore.

Think about the advantages of learning near home.. You've got a job and a family support system, and your girlfriend or boyfriend is there already. It is easier for you to maneuver in your home city or town than it is to pick up and move to Florida or Los Angeles.
If you are in Atlanta, Chicago, or in Lima, Ohio, we will find you a company right there. There are recording studios all over the country, in Canada, as well; same thing with radio stations and production companies.
The nice thing about this, too, is you can do this around a normal job. Many of our students are people that are over 30-years-old, frankly. People who have already gone to college for a career and maybe that career did not pan out. Maybe they never got in the career, because let us face it, 98% of people that go to college never get into what they want to get into anyway. Let us say that you have always had that dream of really breaking into music or film but you got to pay the rent, as well.
The great thing about this program is you can do this around your job. If you work days, you can go evenings. If you work evenings, you can go days. You do not have to move. You literally train one-on-one in a real recording studio, radio station, film company, or record company right within driving distance of where you live.

Brian Kraft
Brian Kraft (born 1970) is an American entrepreneur and underground filmmaker primarily known for the films The Brandon Corey Story and the ten hour documentary on the collapse of the United States, The Fall of America and the Western World – A Survival Guide. He is also an American Educator known for his co-creation of The Mentor/Apprentice Approach to learning. He is Chief Academic Officer for RRF, Inc.
Career as an Educator
As Chief Academic Officer of the Recording Connection, Radio Connection, and Film Connection, Kraft oversees the day-to-day operations of the Mentor/Apprentice approach to learning at all of the private school’s locations, nationwide. He has written or co-written the film, recording and radio curriculums that the school uses. The school is owned by RRF, Inc., which Kraft has ownership in.
He is a public speaker and a vocal proponent of learning from professional mentors. A non-fiction book on the subject is due out in 2012. It is rumored that it will be published by Hay House.

You become an apprentice, meaning you take a structured course curriculum and go in anywhere from 2, 4, or 5 times per week. You learn from the structured course curriculum. Who is your teacher? The mentor; the guy who you want to one day hire you. Very simple, end of story, that is it. You are auditioning for him every day that you go in class at his recording studio. The only way you are ever going to break into the radio, music, or film business is if you are in the door of a company learning, working, and paying your dues, which is exactly where we put you from day one. After you are done with the Recording, Radio, or Film Connection program, if your mentor cannot hire you; and that does happen sometimes--in other words, is not a job available for you, but you have been a good student, your mentor is going to get on the phone for you. He is going to call around for you and hook you into other recording studios and connect you into other post production companies, and introduce you to other filmmakers, broadcasters, and companies that may need your services. I am not saying that they do not work to teach you what it is you think you want to know, but you have to ask yourself; at what price are you willing to pay for an education? If your objective is to get a career in music, film, or radio broadcasting, you are not going to get a career from a film, music school, or radio broadcasting school. What they are going to do is take your money and they are going to educate. You are going to graduate from a music, film, or a radio school, and you are going to be in a heck of a lot of debt. It is a lot simpler way to just handle it in 6 months in a real recording studio than it is to be a DJ and club promoter for 10 years, then reworking music retail, and then finally decide to go to a school and be $50,000 in debt. It is thwarting your dream. If you get into $100,000 worth of debt, that means you are going to have to repay that debt, unless you are going to default. Is that what you want? On top of everything else, add another $400, $500, or $600 because you went to film or music school, and now you are bartending or waiting tables because they did not get you a job? For pretty much the price of just my console classes that I took, where I got no one-on-one and maybe about a total of an hour or two of hands-on time a week, for only 4 weeks, for the entirety of what I paid for that, you could actually do this program. Every one of us wants to drive a Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes, or an Audi. Are you willing to pay $300,000 to drive an Audi when you know you can get one for $30,000, $40,000, or $50,000? Of course not. Nobody is overpaying for an Audi, Porsche, or for those cars. Then why would you overpay to get educated for film or music? It is ridiculous, and it will kill your dreams. http://www.recordingconnection.com There are 5 things that you need after you graduate from The Recording Connection. Number one: Who do you know? This is essential. You must have contacts. That is why The Recording Connection is such a great school. That is why it is such a great apprenticeship program. It is all about introducing you to influential people, who either can hire you themselves, or know people. If somebody is looking for an assistant on the next U2 record or the next Aerosmith record, they are not going to just hire anybody, and they are certainly not going to be looking through resumes from Full Sail or Musician's Institute. What are they going to do? There is too much on the line, in other words. If Aerosmith is coming through the door, they want an assistant they can trust. Someone that they know is going to show up on time, and not say something stupid. Someone who has got some experience, enough to help the audio engineer and the music producer get the job done. 'Who do you know?' is super important. Number one: Who do you know? Number two: You need a good demo. You need to be able to show your work. Let us just continue with the example of an audio engineer, because it works for all three examples, even if you are a film maker; you can just plug it in there. You need a good demo. You need to have recorded a great band. It does not have to be a famous band, obviously. It could be a band that you saw at your local club or it could be your brother's band. This is where your studio comes in. Then you take that band into the studio that you had just trained at, as an apprentice. You say to your mentor, 'Can I produce this? Can I audio engineer this, and will you help me?' They will, if they like you. You do that 1, 2, 3, or 100 times, until you get the demo that you are proud of. The third thing that you need after you graduate from The Recording, Radio, and Film Connection is trust. You need to be a trusted apprentice. Can they trust that you are going to be there on time and show up and know what to do, and show up and say the right things? The fourth thing you need after you graduate from the The Recording, Radio, or Film Connection is; 'Who have you worked for?' You need a resume. Who have you apprenticed under? Who can I call to verify that you are not a crazy person? Number 5 connects to number 4, 'Who have you worked for?' Are you a pain in the butt? Nobody likes a diva This is not 1983 anymore, where you can throw furniture. There as too many people, the market is saturated. You show up and you are a pain in the butt to work with, I do not care who you are . . . I know famous film directors. I am not going to mention any names, but we have all seen their movies, they do not work anymore. They had a great career, making seven figures, who do not work anymore because they are pains in the butt. That may have worked in 1975 or 1983; it was mysterious, it was weird, 'He is an artist.' You've got a job and a family support system, and your girlfriend or boyfriend is there already. It is easier for you to maneuver in your home city or town than it is to pick up and move to Florida or Los Angeles. If you are in Atlanta, Chicago, or in Lima, Ohio, we will find you a company right there. There are recording studios all over the country, in Canada, as well; same thing with radio stations and production companies. The nice thing about this, too, is you can do this around a normal job. Many of our students are people that are over 30-years-old, frankly. People who have already gone to college for a career and maybe that career did not pan out. Maybe they never got in the career, because let us face it, 98% of people that go to college never get into what they want to get into anyway. Let us say that you have always had that dream of really breaking into music or film but you got to pay the rent, as well. The great thing about this program is you can do this around your job. If you work days, you can go evenings. If you work evenings, you can go days. You do not have to move. Higher education, for the most part in most careers, is not going to get you a job. I am not saying that you are not going to learn anything at an audio engineering or a music producing school; you will learn plenty. The trade schools are going to teach you good stuff. It is going to cost way more than you need to spend, but you are going to learn stuff. The bigger question is; what are you going to do with all that knowledge you acquired?
When I was teaching for the broadcasting school, I saw that the school did the opposite for even the talented people. In other words, what would happen is in those 50 students, you would have the 2 or 3 that were talented, but the problem was, they would finish the program, send out a few resumes, but never get a job so they actually get more discouraged about the profession. I have seen schools almost ruin a good artist.
Nobody cares that I went to the LA Recording School, Full Sail, the New York Film Academy, or NYU, frankly.
It is not a magical thing. It is not the piece of paper; look at me. In our business, a degree is almost a 'kick me' sign. 'Hello. I have never done this and here is the proof that I have never done it, this diploma. It says I graduated and I have never worked in the business.' It is not about degrees and diplomas, although we give people a diploma. That is never going to be what gets them a job. In fact, in our business, it is almost the opposite. I know this is hard for people to hear.
Listen, I have kids myself, and some parents want their kids to have a college degree. I get it. Then have them go to college and get a degree, frankly, in an entirely different profession if you want them to have a degree. Do not think that them getting a degree or certification is going to get them working in the arts. In the arts, you have to have talent and you have to have connections; that is what they look for in the arts. They look at talent. If you are trying to be a recording engineer, let me hear the demo. Let me hear that you have an ear.
The best way, in my opinion, to learn filmmaker is to do two things: One, go to Barnes and Noble and spend $500 on books, and two, go to a program like the program that I represent, The Film Connection, which places you one-on-one with a real director, a director who is making movies, commercials, documentaries, and industrials for a living.

I was asked to come and apprentice on the new Aerosmith record, which is currently being recorded at Swinghouse Studios, in West Hollywood, and I am very thankful for that.
I have gotten to meet a lot of very famous people here, but I have also been able to meet a lot of bands that I am a huge fan of, and work with them. I have gotten to work with Jack Douglas, I get to work with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, and it is just a dream come true, honestly. I would not trade this experience for anything else.

It is great, I love talking to parents. One of the things that I hear quite a bit is, 'We are considering this other school because he is going to get a degree in audio engineering or a degree in music producing.
When you ask me, 'What are the point of diplomas for the music business?' I have to tell you the truth. There is no point. A diploma from Yale or NYU, for maybe business, that could mean something.
Diplomas for music, for audio engineering mean absolutely nothing. Do not be conned into thinking that your son or daughter's diploma means anything. It means nothing.

The only people that guarantee you anything in life are charlatans, hucksters, and tricksters. Nobody is guaranteeing you a job. The Recording Connection is not guaranteeing you a job. What we are guaranteeing you is access as an apprentice.
The Recording Connection puts you in the door of a real recording studio. You become an apprentice, meaning you take a structured course curriculum and go in anywhere from 2, 4, or 5 times per week. You learn from the structured course curriculum.
Who is your teacher? The mentor; the guy who you want to one day hire you. Very simple, end of story, that is it. You are auditioning for him every day that you go in class at his recording studio. The only way you are ever going to break into the radio, music, or film business is if you are in the door of a company learning, working, and
paying your dues, which is exactly where we put you from day one.
After you are done with the Recording, Radio, or Film Connection program, if your mentor cannot hire you; and that does happen sometimes--in other words, is not a job available for you, but you have been a good student, your mentor is going to get on the phone for you. He is going to call around for you and hook you into other recording studios and connect you into other post production companies, and introduce you to other filmmakers, broadcasters, and companies that may need your services.

I am not saying that they do not work to teach you what it is you think you want to know, but you have to ask yourself; at what price are you willing to pay for an education? If your objective is to get a career in music, film, or radio broadcasting, you are not going to get a career from a film, music school, or radio broadcasting school.
What they are going to do is take your money and they are going to educate. You are going to graduate from a music, film, or a radio school, and you are going to be in a heck of a lot of debt.
It is a lot simpler way to just handle it in 6 months in a real recording studio than it is to be a DJ and club promoter for 10 years, then reworking music retail, and then finally decide to go to a school and be $50,000 in debt.
It is thwarting your dream. If you get into $100,000 worth of debt, that means you are going to have to repay that debt, unless you are going to default. Is that what you want? On top of everything else, add another $400, $500, or $600 because you went to film or music school, and now you are bartending or waiting tables because they did not get you a job?
For pretty much the price of just my console classes that I took, where I got no one-on-one and maybe about a total of an hour or two of hands-on time a week, for only 4 weeks, for the entirety of what I paid for that, you could actually do this program.
Every one of us wants to drive a Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes, or an Audi. Are you willing to pay $300,000 to drive an Audi when you know you can get one for $30,000, $40,000, or $50,000? Of course not. Nobody is overpaying for an Audi, Porsche, or for those cars. Then why would you overpay to get educated for film or music? It is ridiculous, and it will kill your dreams.

Number one: Who do you know? This is essential. You must have contacts. That is why The Recording Connection is such a great school. That is why it is such a great apprenticeship program. It is all about introducing you to influential people, who either can hire you themselves, or know people. If somebody is looking for an assistant on the next U2 record or the next Aerosmith record, they are not going to just hire anybody, and they are certainly not going to be looking through resumes from Full Sail or Musician's Institute. What are they going to do? There is too much on the line, in other words. If Aerosmith is coming through the door, they want an
assistant they can trust. Someone that they know is going to show up on time, and not say something stupid. Someone who has got some experience, enough to help the audio engineer and the music producer get the job done. 'Who do you know?' is super important. Number one: Who do you know?
Number two: You need a good demo. You need to be able to show your work. Let us just continue with the example of an audio engineer, because it works for all three examples, even if you are a film maker; you can just plug it in there. You need a good demo. You need to have recorded a great band. It does not have to be a famous band, obviously. It could be a band that you saw at your local club or it could be your brother's band. This is where your studio comes in. Then you take that band into the studio that you had just trained at, as an apprentice. You say to your mentor, 'Can I
produce this? Can I audio engineer this, and will you help me?' They will, if they like you. You do that 1, 2, 3, or 100 times, until you get the demo that you are proud of.
The third thing that you need after you graduate from The Recording, Radio, and Film Connection is trust. You need to be a trusted apprentice. Can they trust that you are going to be there on time and show up and know what to do, and show up and say the right things?

Number 5 connects to number 4, 'Who have you worked for?' Are you a pain in the butt? Nobody likes a diva This is not 1983 anymore, where you can throw furniture. There as too many people, the market is saturated. You show up and you are a pain in the butt to work with, I do not care who you are . . . I know famous film directors. I am not going to mention any names, but we have all seen their movies, they do not work anymore. They had a great career, making seven figures, who do not work anymore because they are pains in the butt. That may have worked in 1975 or 1983; it was mysterious, it was weird, 'He is an artist.' It does not work anymore.

Think about the advantages of learning near home.. You've got a job and a family support system, and your girlfriend or boyfriend is there already. It is easier for you to maneuver in your home city or town than it is to pick up and move to Florida or Los Angeles.
If you are in Atlanta, Chicago, or in Lima, Ohio, we will find you a company right there. There are recording studios all over the country, in Canada, as well; same thing with radio stations and production companies.
The nice thing about this, too, is you can do this around a normal job. Many of our students are people that are over 30-years-old, frankly. People who have already gone to college for a career and maybe that career did not pan out. Maybe they never got in the career, because let us face it, 98% of people that go to college never get into what they want to get into anyway. Let us say that you have always had that dream of really breaking into music or film but you got to pay the rent, as well.

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Daniel Kraft shows us where technology can take us in health and medicine. He pulls out countless gadgets of his jacket that will change the future of health-monitoring and improve our access to personal health care.
Daniel Kraft is Founding Executive Director and curator for Exponential Medicine, an annual program that brings together thought leaders from across technology and healthcare. He is a Stanford and Harvard trained physician-scientist, inventor, entrepreneur, and innovator. With over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, biomedical research and healthcare innovation, Kraft has chaired the Medicine Track for Singularity University since SU’s inception, and founded and is Executive Director of Exponential Medicine, a program that explores convergent, rapidly developing technologies and their potential in biomedicine and healthcare.
Following undergraduate degrees from Brown University and medical school at Stanford, Daniel was Board Certified in both Internal Medicine & Pediatrics after completing a Harvard residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital & Boston Children’s Hospital, and fellowships in hematology, oncology and bone marrow transplantation at Stanford.
He has multiple patents on medical device, immunology and stem cell related patents through faculty positions with Stanford University School of Medicine and as clinical faculty for the pediatric bone marrow transplantation service at University of California, San Francisco.

This is not a official Lego or Mojang release nor production nor it is supported or sponsored. This is a fully self financed and produced fan movie inspired by the Minecraft Universe.
On April the 10th went the first episode live. now 6 months and 24 episodes later the season is over.
This is my version of Minecraft Story Mode and it is not finished yet. There will be more and more new episodes in the Lego Minecraft Survival Series.
I would like to that everyone for supporting me over the last months. Some of your questions and requests I implement in the series.
This Full Movie includes a few extra images and different soundtrack at some times. Also near the end it is differently cut.
This lego stop motion animation is fully shot at 15 frames per second, it consists ~55.000 still images.
3 Canon DSLR cameras have been used. One completely died and 2 others went to cleaning service due oil speckles on the sensor.
530 GB in space was required to store over 243.000 files.

We are having an open call and we are hiring. We are paying $40,000 or $50,000 a year, and we' ae hiring for audio engineers.' It does not happen.
If you ever see an ad for recording engineer or a film producer, first of all, if you ever see an ad, I always laugh and say, 'Do not apply because they are going to get barraged. They are going to get 3,000 applications in an afternoon.' What do they do?
They turn to the guy next to them, or the woman next to them and they say, 'Do you know any good audio engineers that will work for this amount of money? I am looking for somebody. Do you know anybody who has a good reel or a good demo, or someone I can trust?' That's what they do.
That is really the big part to about how a lot of our students end up getting jobs. They are there. If you are there when someone leaves, I can tell you as a CEO myself, I am always going to hire the guy who is right under my roof.
Swinghouse has been very kind to me. Swinghouse was where I first did my apprenticeship, and they have since gotten me a couple of paid jobs. Ultimately, I have been awarded a great opportunity as of late. I was asked to come and apprentice on the new Aerosmith record, which is currently being recorded at Swinghouse Studios, in West Hollywood, and I am very thankful for that.
I have gotten to meet a lot of very famous people here, but I have also been able to meet a lot of bands that I am a huge fan of, and work with them. I have gotten to work with Jack Douglas, I get to work with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, and it is just a dream come true, honestly. I would not trade this experience for anything else.
The only way you are ever going to break into the radio, music, or film business is if you are in the door of a company, learning, working, and paying your dues, which is exactly where we put you from day one.

I am not saying that they do not work to teach you what it is you think you want to know, but you have to ask yourself; at what price are you willing to pay for an education? You've got a job and a family support system, and your girlfriend or boyfriend is there already. It is easier for you to maneuver in your home city or town than it is to pick up and move to Florida or Los Angeles. I am not saying higher education is a bad thing necessarily, but it is highly overrated. It is a place to go, fine, if you want to continue partying and you want to meet lots of pretty girls or if you are into boys, you want to meet lots of pretty boys, whatever. It is a nice place to go socialize.
Higher education, for the most part in most careers, is not going to get you a job. I am not saying that you are not going to learn anything at an audio engineering or a music producing school; you will learn plenty. The trade schools are going to teach you good stuff. It is going to cost way more than you need to spend, but you are going to learn stuff. The bigger question is; what are you going to do with all that knowledge you acquired?
When I was teaching for the broadcasting school, I saw that the school did the opposite for even the talented people. In other words, what would happen is in those 50 students, you would have the 2 or 3 that were talented, but the problem was, they would finish the program, send out a few resumes, but never get a job so they actually get more discouraged about the profession. I have seen schools almost ruin a good artist.
Nobody cares that I went to the LA Recording School, Full Sail, the New York Film Academy, or NYU, frankly.
It is not a magical thing. It is not the piece of paper; look at me. In our business, a degree is almost a 'kick me' sign. 'Hello. I have never done this and here is the proof that I have never done it, this diploma. It says I graduated and I have never worked in the business.' It is not about degrees and diplomas, although we give people a diploma. That is never going to be what gets them a job. In fact, in our business, it is almost the opposite. I know this is hard for people to hear.
Listen, I have kids myself, and some parents want their kids to have a college degree. I get it. Then have them go to college and get a degree, frankly, in an entirely different profession if you want them to have a degree. Do not think that them getting a degree or certification is going to get them working in the arts. In the arts, you have to have talent and you have to have connections; that is what they look for in the arts. They look at talent. If you are trying to be a recording engineer, let me hear the demo. Let me hear that you have an ear.
The best way, in my opinion, to learn filmmaker is to do two things: One, go to Barnes and Noble and spend $500 on books, and two, go to a program like the program that I represent, The Film Connection, which places you one-on-one with a real director, a director who is making movies, commercials, documentaries, and industrials for a living.

We are having an open call and we are hiring. We are paying $40,000 or $50,000 a year, and we' ae hiring for audio engineers.' It does not happen.
If you ever see an ad for recording engineer or a film producer, first of all, if you ever see an ad, I always laugh and say, 'Do not apply because they are going to get barraged. They are going to get 3,000 applications in an afternoon.' What do they do?
They turn to the guy next to them, or the woman next to them and they say, 'Do you know any good audio engineers that will work for this amount of money? I am looking for somebody. Do you know anybody who has a good reel or a good demo, or someone I can trust?' That's what they do.
That is really the big part to about how a lot of our students end up getting jobs. They are there. If you are there when someone leaves, I can tell you as a CEO myself, I am always going to hire the guy who is right under my roof.
Swinghouse has been very kind to me. Swinghouse was where I first did my apprenticeship, and they have since gotten me a couple of paid jobs. Ultimately, I have been awarded a great opportunity as of late. I was asked to come and apprentice on the new Aerosmith record, which is currently being recorded at Swinghouse Studios, in West Hollywood, and I am very thankful for that.
I have gotten to meet a lot of very famous people here, but I have also been able to meet a lot of bands that I am a huge fan of, and work with them. I have gotten to work with Jack Douglas, I get to work with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, and it is just a dream come true, honestly. I would not trade this experience for anything else.
The only way you are ever going to break into the radio, music, or film business is if you are in the door of a company, learning, working, and paying your dues, which is exactly where we put you from day one.

On top of everything else, add another $400, $500, or $600 because you went to film or music school, and now you are bartending or waiting tables because they did not get you a job?
For pretty much the price of just my console classes that I took, where I got no one-on-one and maybe about a total of an hour or two of hands-on time a week, for only 4 weeks, for the entirety of what I paid for that, you could actually do this program.
Every one of us wants to drive a Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes, or an Audi. Are you willing to pay $300,000 to drive an Audi when you know you can get one for $30,000, $40,000, or $50,000? Of course not. Nobody is overpaying for an Audi, Porsche, or for those cars. Then why would you overpay to get educated for film or music? It is ridiculous, and it will kill your dreams.
