We are pleased to introduce for the very first time the bootleg soundtrack of the film "Paranoia" (a.k.a. "A Quiet Place To Kill"), directed in 1970 by Umberto Lenzi, starring Carroll Baker, Jean Sorel, Anna Proclemer and Marina Coffa. We are in front of a giallo-thriller psychedelic at the same time very beautifully filmed by Lenzi, in which constants camera movements, zooms, nice locations in Palma de Mallorca and, above all, the wonderful music make this a more than wonderful film.
Helen (Carrol Baker), after recovering from a near fatal car crash that took place during a professional race, discovers she is broke. She decides to accept an invitation to stay at her ex-husband's (who she once tried to murder in response to his indiscreet infidelities) extravagant villa and learns that it was not Maurice (Jean Sorel) who sent the invitation, but his new wife, Constance (Anna Proclemer). Constance wants to recruit Helen to assist in her diabolical plot to murder Maurice, but things go wrong and Constance ends up getting killed instead! Her daughter Susan (Marina Coffa) arrives shortly after and knows something isn't quite right with the story of her Mother's accidental death. All this is only the beginning.
The music for this film, if we rely on the credits, was composed by spanish Gregorio Garcia Segura, well known in Spain but little or nothing beyond, and the orchestra conducted by Piero Umiliani. The main title of the film, "You" is composed by Terry Umiliani, although in reality its the collaboration between Lilian Terry and Piero Umiliani. The discoteque-beat song (already used in the previous Lenzi film, "Orgasmo") is "Just Tell Me", performed by Wess & The Airedales and composed by Douglas Fowlkes and Piero Umiliani.
Actually, what we believe, is that all the music of the film is composed by Piero Umiliani as to the big connoisseurs of Italian music may know, that the melody and other versions of the theme throughout the film contains motifs clearly Umiliani. Why the music was credited to the Spanish composer, can only be due to rights issue, for this hispano-italian co-production. Still, we wanted to respect the original credits and have credited the music to Garcia Segura.
The soundtrack of the film, to our knowledge, was never released in any format, 7 ", LP or CD. This is, then, the first time we can hear the whole soundtrack listened in the film on this bootleg that we have done through editing and mastering the music directly from the movie (unfortunately we have no access to the original master tapes and so this is the only way to enjoy the music of the film). For this reason, we apologize if the sound quality is not what you expect. We have tried to edit and cut the music to make it sound the best posible.

Poco después de dejar voluntariamente el cine en 1974, Sara Montiel (1928-2013), que llevaba desde 1970 con presentaciones personales periódicas en los teatros de medio mundo, continuó su prolífica carrera discográfica con dos álbumes: “Saritísima” (1977), donde alternaba varios estilos, y “Anoche con Sara” (1978), íntegramente compuesto por algunos de los boleros más representativos del género, como “Historia de un amor” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7NSYZMGu8A&index;=81&list;=UUCcdbFHhRkjkHVF9IHXTbcg, de Carlos Eleta Almarán o “Usted”, con letra de José Antonio Zorrilla y música de Gabriel Ruiz.
"Anoche con Sara" fue editado en España por Columbia, mientras que en Cuba lo hizo Alhambra el 19 de noviembre de 1978 y en Argentina CBS al año siguiente. Fue producido por su marido de entonces el empresario José Tous y los arreglos y dirección musicales corrieron a cargo de Rafael Ferro y J.L. Navarro, rompiendo así a partir de entonces con su maestro de toda la vida Gregorio García Segura. Su último trabajo junto a él, las canciones de la banda sonora original de su última película “Cinco almohadas para una noche” (1974), continúa a día de hoy sin ser publicado y es una pieza muy codiciada por coleccionistas, especialmente por los números no interpretados en el film como sus versiones de “Ya no te quiero, gitano” o “Yo seré la tentación”.

Segura
Segura (Spanish: [seˈɣuɾa], Valencian: [seˈɣuɾa]; Latin: Thader, Arabic: شقورة, War-Alabiat) is a medium-sized river in southeastern Spain. It has its source in the Sierra de Segura.
Course
The river begins at Santiago Pontones (province of Jaén), passes Calasparra, Cieza, Murcia, Beniaján, Orihuela, Rojales and ends in the Mediterranean Sea near Guardamar del Segura in the province of Alicante. Some of its tributaries are the Mundo (which starts near Riópar), the Alhárabe (which starts in Moratalla), the Mula and the Guadalentín.
The alluvial plain is called the Vega del Segura and is a very productive agricultural region growing a wide variety of fruit, vegetables and flowers. The Vegas are divided into three areas: Alta, Media and Baja (upper, medium, and lower).
Recovery
By the 1990s, the Segura had become one of the most polluted rivers in Europe, due to the canning industry and urban and agricultural residues originating in the densely populated area in the medium and lower areas of the basin. This fact combined with low or extreme low flows in the same areas –the agricultural use of water and summer drought could reduce the mean discharge to just around 2 to 3 m³/s in Murcia city– made more difficult to dilute pollutants.

Piero Umiliani
Piero Umiliani (17 July 1926 – 14 February 2001) was an Italian composer of film scores, and is most famous for his song "Mah Nà Mah Nà" and orchestra score "Arrivano I Marines".
Biography
Umiliani was born in Florence, Tuscany. Like many of his Italian colleagues at that time, he composed the scores for many exploitation films in the 1960s and 1970s, covering genres such as spaghetti western, Eurospy, Giallo, and soft sex films.
Although not as widely regarded as, for example, Ennio Morricone or Riz Ortolani, he helped form the style of the typical European 1960s and 1970s jazz influenced film soundtrack, that later experienced a revival in films such as Kill Bill , and "Crepuscolo Sul Mare" in Ocean's Twelve.
"Mah Nà Mah Nà" (1968) was originally used in Sweden: Heaven and Hell, a 1968 Mondo documentary about Sweden, but was popularized by The Muppets, who covered the song several times; starting on episode 0014 of Sesame Street on November 27, 1969, then The Ed Sullivan Show three days later, and again on the syndicated series The Muppet Show in 1977. The track was also a hit in the UK, reaching number 8 in the UK Singles Chart in May 1977.

Paranoia
Paranoia is a thought process believed to be heavily influenced by anxiety or fear, often to the point of irrationality and delusion. Paranoid thinking typically includes persecutory, or beliefs of conspiracy concerning a perceived threat towards oneself (e.g. "Everyone is out to get me"). Paranoia is distinct from phobias, which also involve irrational fear, but usually no blame. Making false accusations and the general distrust of others also frequently accompany paranoia. For example, an incident most people would view as an accident or coincidence, a paranoid person might believe was intentional.
History
The word paranoia comes from the Greek παράνοια (paranoia), "madness", and that from παρά (para), "beside, by" and νόος (noos), "mind". The term was used to describe a mental illness in which a delusional belief is the sole or most prominent feature. In this definition, the belief does not have to be persecutory to be classified as paranoid, so any number of delusional beliefs can be classified as paranoia. For example, a person who has the sole delusional belief that he is an important religious figure would be classified by Kraepelin as having 'pure paranoia'.

Poco después de dejar voluntariamente el cine en 1974, Sara Montiel (1928-2013), que llevaba desde 1970 con presentaciones personales periódicas en los teatros de medio mundo, continuó su prolífica carrera discográfica con dos álbumes: “Saritísima” (1977), donde alternaba varios estilos, y “Anoche con Sara” (1978), íntegramente compuesto por algunos de los boleros más representativos del género, como “Historia de un amor” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7NSYZMGu8A&index;=81&list;=UUCcdbFHhRkjkHVF9IHXTbcg, de Carlos Eleta Almarán o “Usted”, con letra de José Antonio Zorrilla y música de Gabriel Ruiz. "Anoche con Sara" fue editado en España por Columbia, mientras que en Cuba lo hizo Alhambra el 19 de noviembre de 1978 y en Argentina CBS al año siguiente. Fue producido por su marido de entonces el empresario José Tous y los arreglos y dirección musicales corrieron a cargo de Rafael Ferro y J.L. Navarro, rompiendo así a partir de entonces con su maestro de toda la vida Gregorio García Segura. Su último trabajo junto a él, las canciones de la banda sonora original de su última película “Cinco almohadas para una noche” (1974), continúa a día de hoy sin ser publicado y es una pieza muy codiciada por coleccionistas, especialmente por los números no interpretados en el film como sus versiones de “Ya no te quiero, gitano” o “Yo seré la tentación”.

We are pleased to introduce for the very first time the bootleg soundtrack of the film "Paranoia" (a.k.a. "A Quiet Place To Kill"), directed in 1970 by Umberto Lenzi, starring Carroll Baker, Jean Sorel, Anna Proclemer and Marina Coffa. We are pleased to introduce for the very first time the bootleg soundtrack of the film "Paranoia" (a.k.a. "A Quiet Place To Kill"), directed in 1970 by Umberto Lenzi, starring Carroll Baker, Jean Sorel, Anna Proclemer and Marina Coffa. We are in front of a giallo-thriller psychedelic at the same time very beautifully filmed by Lenzi, in which constants camera movements, zooms, nice locations in Palma de Mallorca and, above all, the wonderful music make this a more than wonderful film.
Helen (Carrol Baker), after recovering from a near fatal car crash that took place during a professional race, discovers she is broke. She decides to accept an invitation to stay at her ex-husband's (who she once tried to murder in response to his indiscreet infidelities) extravagant villa and learns that it was not Maurice (Jean Sorel) who sent the invitation, but his new wife, Constance (Anna Proclemer). Constance wants to recruit Helen to assist in her diabolical plot to murder Maurice, but things go wrong and Constance ends up getting killed instead! Her daughter Susan (Marina Coffa) arrives shortly after and knows something isn't quite right with the story of her Mother's accidental death. All this is only the beginning.
The music for this film, if we rely on the credits, was composed by spanish Gregorio Garcia Segura, well known in Spain but little or nothing beyond, and the orchestra conducted by Piero Umiliani. The main title of the film, "You" is composed by Terry Umiliani, although in reality its the collaboration between Lilian Terry and Piero Umiliani. The discoteque-beat song (already used in the previous Lenzi film, "Orgasmo") is "Just Tell Me", performed by Wess & The Airedales and composed by Douglas Fowlkes and Piero Umiliani.
Actually, what we believe, is that all the music of the film is composed by Piero Umiliani as to the big connoisseurs of Italian music may know, that the melody and other versions of the theme throughout the film contains motifs clearly Umiliani. Why the music was credited to the Spanish composer, can only be due to rights issue, for this hispano-italian co-production. Still, we wanted to respect the original credits and have credited the music to Garcia Segura.
The soundtrack of the film, to our knowledge, was never released in any format, 7 ", LP or CD. This is, then, the first time we can hear the whole soundtrack listened in the film on this bootleg that we have done through editing and mastering the music directly from the movie (unfortunately we have no access to the original master tapes and so this is the only way to enjoy the music of the film). For this reason, we apologize if the sound quality is not what you expect. We have tried to edit and cut the music to make it sound the best posible.

Poco después de dejar voluntariamente el cine en 1974, Sara Montiel (1928-2013), que llevaba desde 1970 con presentaciones personales periódicas en los teatros de medio mundo, continuó su prolífica carrera discográfica con dos álbumes: “Saritísima” (1977), donde alternaba varios estilos, y “Anoche con Sara” (1978), íntegramente compuesto por algunos de los boleros más representativos del género, como “Historia de un amor” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7NSYZMGu8A&index;=81&list;=UUCcdbFHhRkjkHVF9IHXTbcg, de Carlos Eleta Almarán o “Usted”, con letra de José Antonio Zorrilla y música de Gabriel Ruiz.
"Anoche con Sara" fue editado en España por Columbia, mientras que en Cuba lo hizo Alhambra el 19 de noviembre de 1978 y en Argentina CBS al año siguiente. Fue producido por su marido de entonces el empresario José Tous y los arreglos y dirección musicales corrieron a cargo de Rafael Ferro y J.L. Navarro, rompiendo así a partir de entonces con su maestro de toda la vida Gregorio García Segura. Su último trabajo junto a él, las canciones de la banda sonora original de su última película “Cinco almohadas para una noche” (1974), continúa a día de hoy sin ser publicado y es una pieza muy codiciada por coleccionistas, especialmente por los números no interpretados en el film como sus versiones de “Ya no te quiero, gitano” o “Yo seré la tentación”.

O Château de Villandry é um palácio da França, localizado na comuna de Villandry, departamento de Indre-et-Loire. Fica situado a 15 km. de Tours pela estrada D7.
O Château de Villandry, terminado cerca de 1536, foi o último dos grandes châteaux construídos nas margens do Rio Loire na época do Renascimento. No início do século XX foi comprado por Joachim Carvallo, bisavô dos actuais proprietários, que o restaurou completamente.
O palácio é conhecido pelos seus três jardins, a torre de menagem domina o parterre decorativo (1 ha), o jardim ornamental e o jardim de água.
O interior data do século XVIII.
As terras onde foi erguido o Château de Villandry eram conhecidas como Colombier até ao século XVII. A propriedade foi adquirida no início do século XVI por Jean Le Breton, ministro das finanças durante o reinado de Francisco I, figurando as suas armas sobre a lucarna da esquerda.
Por conta da Coroa, Breton havia dirigido durante longos anos a construção do Château de Chambord, junto ao qual mandou erguer uma réplica "em miniatura" de Villandry: o Château de Villesavin. Anteriormente, havia sido embaixador em Roma, onde pôde estudar, nos tempos livres, a arte dos jardins.
Jean Le Breton, para construir o actual palácio, mandou arrasar uma velha fortaleza do século XII, da qual restam apenas as fundações e a torre de menagem que se encontra por trás do cour d'honneur (pátio de honra). Foi nesta fortaleza que teve lugar, no dia 4 de Julho de 1189, a "Paix de Colombiers" (Paz de Colombiers - sendo Colombiers o nome de Villandry na Idade Média), no curso da qual Henrique II Plantageneta, Rei de Inglaterra, veio à presença de Filipe II, Rei de França, reconhecer a sua derrota. Esta paz marca uma etapa essencial do triunfo da Dinastia Capetíngea sobre os grandes senhores feudais, à cabeça dos quais se encontravam os Plantagenetas, cujo imenso domínio francês compreendia a Normandia, a Bretanha, o Maine, a Touraine, Anjou, Poitou e a Aquitânia.

Os descendentes de Jean le Breton conservaram o Château de Villandry até 1754, ano em que se tornou propriedade do Marquês de Castellane, embaixador do Rei e membro de uma família muito ilustre da nobreza provençal. Este último mandou construir as dependências de estilo clássico que se podem ver de um lado e do outro do adro. Mandou ainda renovar o interior do palácio, adaptando-o às normas do conforto do século XVIII, muito mais próximas dos conceitos actuais que as do Renascimento.
No século XIX, o jardim tradicional foi destruído para dar lugar a um parque à inglesa em volta do palácio (ao estilo do Parque Monceau, em Paris).
Em 1906, o Château de Villandry foi comprado pelo Dr. Joachim Carvallo, um médico nascido em Espanha no ano de 1869, bisavô dos actuais proprietários. Este abandonou a sua brilhante carreira científica que conduzia ao lado do professor Charles Richet, (Nobel da Fisiologia/Medicina de 1913), para se consagrar unicamente a Villandry. Deste modo, salvou o palácio, que se encontrava a ponto de ser demolido, e criou os jardins que se podem admirar actualmente, em plena harmonia com a arquitectura renascentista do edifício. Joachim Carvallo foi, igualmente, o fundador da "Demeure Historique" (Residência Histórica), a primeira associação que reagrupou os proprietários dos châteaux históricos. Foi, ainda, um pioneiro na abertura destes monumentos ao público.
Quando fomos o castelo estava fechado e somente os jardins abertos ao público gratuitamente.
