I really like Robert Graves. His work on Greek and Celtic mythology is excellent. This novel has its moments but is very “Age of Aquarius” and I guess the cover does at least provide a stark warning of what you are in store for π
That new Doctor Strange trailer was something, huh? Come on, ladies can be doctors too.
@THX: too much hair for Doctor Strange. No, this is the race-lifted version of X-Men.
It seems as though Horsie has been hit in the nose by a comet or some such.
HAZA! The horse is mine!!
Is this like one of those Cirque du Soleil things?
A classic hydrological novel of a future civilisation doomed by its own wet feet
Seven Days in New Creek
A classic workplace novel of a future civilisation doomed by its own office drudgery.
Seven Days of a New Working Week
This reminds me of seven days in Ibiza.
Looks more like something Jack Kirby would draw.
Don’t you love it when an artist first discovers the laws of linear perspective and just goes to town on it?
Seven Days in New Concrete: Memoirs of a Mafia Hitman.
A classic science fantasy novel of a future civilization doomed by its lack of prudence and good judgement.
Seven Days Indiscreet
@B’mancer: ‘lack of prudence and good judgement’ means that they still have the Internet. π
‘I am not really confident, but I think it’s a group of stuffed animals sitting on top of a beach.’
Should this cover bear a spoiler warning? Heroine and horsey chum looks dead floating in orbit.
. . . Hippie wizards taking a drunken joyride on a unicorn?
Seven Crates of Newky Broon, reet?
OMG! I’m in zero gravity, in a dress, and I didn’t wear underwear!
Robert Graves wrote a ‘science fantasy’ novel?? Now this I must read.
@dangermom – I Claudius it ain’t but interesting in its own way.
(New Cretan) Unicorns!
When in Crete, do as the Cretins do – right?
So giving birth in the future goes very quickly, then? Talk about a speedy delivery! Ba-Da-Bum!
@ Anna T. – You nailed it.
