Plot: Billy is the self-designated leader of a group of teenagers living in a shelter. Jacob and Rae, Billy's oldest childhood friends, live there as well as part of "the family". Billy has an AIDs-like virus, which he has passed on to his blood brother Jacob. Billy and Rae are boyfriend and girlfriend, much to the dismay of Jacob who has always loved Rae from afar. Billy's philosophy of life, and how that interfaces with having a deadly virus, comes to a head when Billy and Jacob compete in a very unique game of "Tag", with the future of Rae and "the family" dependent upon the outcome.

Plot: Seemingly naive village belle, Babli, who lives with her dad, Lala, and step-mother, conspires with her boyfriend, Shyam, to steal a Murthy of Bhagwan Shri Kishan from her estranged in-laws who had humiliated her. Shyam reluctantly agrees to assist her as he needs Rs.3 Lakhs to bribe a officer in order to find employment. They decide to involve local impoverished politician, Mayalal Yadav, who needs Rs.4 Lakhs to contribute to his political party, get a ticket to stand for elections as well as get his daughter married. They then involve an experienced alcoholic thief, Charan, to assist them. The four carry out the robbery from a Kishan Mandir and decide to travel to Delhi by the first train. They miss the train and end up in a mansion whose sole occupant is a woman named Amaa. The latter hesitantly agrees to let them sleepover for the night and even gives them something to eat. Mayalal is still hungry and wants more and asks Babli to approach Amaa - and it is this decision that will change their plans and their lives forever.

Plot: Following riots in Gujarat, Arati experiences guilt when she did not open her door to shelter an injured Muslim woman. Plot: Gaurav Anand comes from a wealthy family, and enjoys a comfortable and luxurious lifestyle. He lives with his dad, Yashpal, an Industrialist; his mom, and an elder brother, Narendra, who is overseas. Gaurav has always shadowed by Narendra, and is resentful of his dad's attention toward Narendra. His dad is not at all attentive to Gaurav, as he dots on Narendra. Narendra returns home, and his parents are overjoyed, and spend all their available time with him. When Narendra is killed during an accident, the entire family is devastated by his sudden death. Gaurav attempts to fill-in for his brother, but in vain. In frustration, he joins the army and leaves home. His decision to join the army was not to serve his country, but to prove to his dad, but he, too, could be a worthy son. But will this decision make an impact on his sorrowing dad?

Plot: Ajay comes from a decent middle class family consists of his parents and sister. He goes out into the outside world and ended up in a night club and meets with super star and dancer name Manorama and is attracted to her at that very moment and leaves to spend time with her in her hotel. After a couple of days he goes home and find that his whole family has been murder. Alone, feeling lifeless and sad Ajay decides to work for underworld don and criminal name Roopesh Singh on a negative part. Later on he finds a piece of evidence in Roopesh house that will lead him to his family's killer which is non other than Roopesh and his friend. When he find out this he plans to take revenge.

Plot: Orphaned at a very young age, Raju lives a poor lifestyle with his unmarried sister, Laxmi, in India. Both are of marriageable age. One day Raju meets an attractive fellow-collegian, Parul, and after a few encounters with another fellow-collegian, Bobby, both fall in love. But Parul's uncle, Jagpal, has already arranged her marriage with Police Inspector Suryadev Singh. When Suryadev finds out that Parul is refusing to marry him, he arrests Raju on a charge of murder, holds him in a cell, and beats him mercilessly. Laxmi, quite dramatically, takes a gun from a policeman, and helps Raju escape so as to prevent Parul from being forcibly married to Suryadev. They do manage to arrive in time, only to find out that Parul has consumed poison and killed herself. Raju is beside himself with rage, but is captured by the police, and watches helplessly as Parul is cremated. His horrors have not ended as Suryadev sexually assault's Laxmi and leaves her in an mentally unstable condition. Raju takes Laxmi with him to a small village, where he hides her from other people as she has become visibly pregnant, and changes his name to Birju. He meets with a lovely village belle by the name of Bijli, who wants to marry him. What Raju does not know is that Bijli is a plainclothes policewoman, Inspector Barkha Sharma, who has been assigned to arrest him at any cost. She does confront him, and he confesses to killing Parul's uncle, Jagpal, and Barkha calls for reinforcements to escort Raju to jail. The Inspector in charge of the reinforcements is none other than Suryadev - and this time he is determined to finish Raju once and for all.

Plot: Reema lives a wealthy lifestyle with her widowed businessman dad, Dinkar, and her grandma. Her dad wants her to marry Vicky, but she dislikes him. On the day of the marriage, while fully dressed as a Hindu bride, Reema plans to run away. It is at this time that she see's a stranger in her house, thinking it is her dad's employee, she tries to run from him, but he catches up with her. He tells her that his name is Suraj alias Surya, an ex-convict, who has just been released from prison. As he had no money, he as unable to eat anything, and hence had broken into their house to steal money and jewelery. While on the run, they are also joined by Hero, who had attempted to rob a bank so that he could go to Bombay and become a movie star. His attempt at robbing the bank had failed and he is now on run from the police. When Dinkar is told that Reema has run away, he contacts a local gangster named Lala and asks him to locate her. Lala, in his turn asks Ranga, one of his hoodlums, to find Reema. Ranga finds out where Reema, Hero and Suraj are holed up. At the same time, Inspector Naik also finds out their whereabouts. But Naik has a different reason for locating them - he has a score to settle with Suraj, and wants Reema for himself. There is no doubt at all that Reema, Suraj and Hero are headed for nothing but trouble, as the gangster and their men on one hand, and Inspector Naik on the other, close in on them, making their escapade virtually impossible.

Plot: Kaalu lives a poor lifestyle with his widowed mom, an unmarried school-going sister, Sona, and a younger brother, Birju. Kaalu makes a living driving a horse-carriage (tonga), and the family lives a hand to mouth existence. Most of Kaalu's earnings are spent on medications for his ailing mother, and fees & books for Sona and Birju. His mother decides to lend a hand, does some work at a construction site, and tragically passes away. Sona completes her education and falls in love with a wealthy young man named Raju. When Kaalu finds out, he goes to Raju's dad, who is none other than Kaalu's employer, who refuses to accept Sona as his daughter-in-law, but subsequently changes his mind, apologizes to Kaalu and both decide on an early marriage. While Kaalu is grateful that Sona's future in-laws are not taking any dowry, he decides to marry off his only sister in style and give a big party. The question remains - where will Kaalu get the money to host this reception?
