Stratus (Serbian band)
Stratus (Serbian Cyrillic: Стратус) is a Serbian heavy metal band.
Band history
The band was formed in 2002 by guitarists Darko Konstantinoviċ and Saša Jankoviċ. A former Osvajači vocalist Nenad Jovanović joined the band in 2003. With Goran Pešić (bass guitar), Goran Nikolić (drums) and Aleksandar Ljubisavljević (keyboard), they released their self-titled debut album Stratus in March 2005.
In 2008, Nenad Vukeliċ (bass guitar), Sale Stojković (drums) and Slaviša Malenoviċ (keyboards) became the band's new members. In 2008, the band released their second studio album Equilibrium.

Stratus (English band)
Stratus (originally "Clive Burr's Escape", then briefly known as "Tygon" and "Stratas"), was a short-lived English melodic hard rock supergroup. It was formed by ex-Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr, the Troy brothers from then-inactive Praying Mantis plus ex-Gran Prix vocalist Bernie Shaw and keyboardist Alan Nelson. The band split after only one album, Throwing Shapes released in 1985. Bernie Shaw would become the lead vocalist for Uriah Heep the following year.
The track "Run for Your Life" was featured on the soundtrack to the movie Class of Nuke 'Em High.

Pulse-code modulation
Pulse-code modulation (PCM) is a method used to digitally represent sampled analog signals. It is the standard form of digital audio in computers, Compact Discs, digital telephony and other digital audio applications. In a PCM stream, the amplitude of the analog signal is sampled regularly at uniform intervals, and each sample is quantized to the nearest value within a range of digital steps.
Linear pulse-code modulation (LPCM) is a specific type of PCM where the quantization levels are linearly uniform. This is in contrast to PCM encodings where quantization levels vary as a function of amplitude (as with the A-law algorithm or the μ-law algorithm). Though PCM is a more general term, it is often used to describe data encoded as LPCM.
A PCM stream has two basic properties that determine the stream's fidelity to the original analog signal: the sampling rate, which is the number of times per second that samples are taken; and the bit depth, which determines the number of possible digital values that can be used to represent each sample.

PCM30
The pulse code modulation (PCM) technology was patented and developed in France in 1938, but could not be used because suitable technology was not available until World War II. This came about with the arrival of digital systems in the 1960s, when improving the performance of communications networks became a real possibility. However, this technology was not completely adopted until the mid-1970s, due to the large amount of analog systems already in place and the high cost of digital systems, as semiconductors were very expensive. PCM’s initial goal was that of converting an analog voice telephone channel into a digital one based on the sampling theorem.
PCM30 describes an application of pulse-code modulation (PCM) in which 30 telephony analog signals are binary coded into a digital signal stream. The term is used today mostly as a synonym for the encoding of 30 channels each with a signalling rate of 64-kbit/s. This rate is also used in the first stage of European PDH technique, so PCM30 is also known as E1.

This is a megacollab that was largely made in 2.11 that has now been finished in 2.2. I remember seeing some previews of parts years back, and it always looked really hype. The final result is too. I really like the consistent color scheme and theme, focusing on green and "tech" designs and decorations. This is obviously quite reminiscent of "Erebus", but in a much more modern and polished fashion. The variety of styles of the creators involved make it interesting from part to part; some mix in art, effects, and/or other colors on top. This wouldn't work as well if the quality didn't stay as consistently high as here. As for the gameplay, this is aimed at a low-end Extreme Demon, so it should be accessible for a decent amount of people once out. It's set to be verified by YakobNugget soon...

In this video we are looking at the Dodge Stratus! Launched for the 1995 model year, this was a FWD mid-size family sedan produced until 2006. It was one of the 'Cloud Cars', sharing the Chrysler JA platform with the Plymouth Breeze and the Chrysler Cirrus. The Stratus was a car that was fun to drive, with good performance and handling for it’s size, along with a stylish exterior and elegant interior, all for a very fair price. Unfortunately, by 2006, it was time to replace the JA/JR platform with some newer vehicles, and the mid-size sedans were losing popularity to full size ones. There were also several major flaws, such as confusing marketing strategies, poor reliability, and 2.7L V6 engine problems. The ability to add up to 7 effects (pedals) into one pedal could be a game changer. Stoked to work with Chaos, and can't wait to see how this grows. UPDATE: I spoke with the Chaos Audio team and they're already working on a fix for the app anomaly with the presets. Helicopters are used but I am not very good at them. I will try to finish the series as long as it works in the future DCS versions. This is a megacollab that was largely made in 2.11 that has now been finished in 2.2. I remember seeing some previews of parts years back, and it always looked really hype. The final result is too. I really like the consistent color scheme and theme, focusing on green and "tech" designs and decorations. This is obviously quite reminiscent of "Erebus", but in a much more modern and polished fashion. The variety of styles of the creators involved make it interesting from part to part; some mix in art, effects, and/or other colors on top. This wouldn't work as well if the quality didn't stay as consistently high as here.
As for the gameplay, this is aimed at a low-end Extreme Demon, so it should be accessible for a decent amount of people once out. It's set to be verified by YakobNugget soon. The layout is made by five dedicated gameplay creators, so I'm sure it'll be good. It seems like everyone else did a great job of decorating on top too. There is some shader and zoom usage here and there, which seems to be the only visible 2.2 features in it, but it's pretty tasteful and mostly during transitions; this shouldn't be harmful to the gameplay experience at all. Without any major issues I didn't notice, I think this deserves an Epic rating, if not a Legendary rating! Finally, special thanks to NikVer for reaching out about showcasing this and providing a video!

UPDATE: I spoke with the Chaos Audio team and they're already working on a fix for the app anomaly with the presets. For now, if you load your pre-sets from the Library instead of the pedal board, they will load correctly.

This video is harder to present than the others in the series, because of the nature of the cloud type. Helicopters are used but I am not very good at them. I will try to finish the series as long as it works in the future DCS versions.
However, the sequence makes it easier to see which helicopter is easier to fly.

This is a megacollab that was largely made in 2.11 that has now been finished in 2.2. I remember seeing some previews of parts years back, and it always looked really hype. The final result is too. I really like the consistent color scheme and theme, focusing on green and "tech" designs and decorations. This is obviously quite reminiscent of "Erebus", but in a much more modern and polished fashion. The variety of styles of the creators involved make it interesting from part to part; some mix in art, effects, and/or other colors on top. This wouldn't work as well if the quality didn't stay as consistently high as here.
As for the gameplay, this is aimed at a low-end Extreme Demon, so it should be accessible for a decent amount of people once out. It's set to be verified by YakobNugget soon. The layout is made by five dedicated gameplay creators, so I'm sure it'll be good. It seems like everyone else did a great job of decorating on top too. There is some shader and zoom usage here and there, which seems to be the only visible 2.2 features in it, but it's pretty tasteful and mostly during transitions; this shouldn't be harmful to the gameplay experience at all. Without any major issues I didn't notice, I think this deserves an Epic rating, if not a Legendary rating! In this video we are looking at the Dodge Stratus! Launched for the 1995 model year, this was a FWD mid-size family sedan produced until 2006. It was one of the 'Cloud Cars', sharing the Chrysler JA platform with the Plymouth Breeze and the Chrysler Cirrus. The Stratus was a car that was fun to drive, with good performance and handling for it’s size, along with a stylish exterior and elegant interior, all for a very fair price. Unfortunately, by 2006, it was time to replace the JA/JR platform with some newer vehicles, and the mid-size sedans were losing popularity to full size ones. There were also several major flaws, such as confusing marketing strategies, poor reliability, and 2.7L V6 engine problems. Watch along for a full history of the Stratus, from release in 1995 to its cancellation in 2006!

All the cloud types have the height of 0 feet.
This video is harder to present than the others in the series, because of the nature of the cloud type. Helicopters are used but I am not very good at them. I will try to finish the series as long as it works in the future DCS versions.
However, the sequence makes it easier to see which helicopter is easier to fly.
