Romance (love)

Romance is the expressive and pleasurable feeling from an emotional attraction towards another person often associated with sexual attraction. It is eros rather than agape, philia, or storge.

In the context of romantic love relationships, romance usually implies an expression of one's strong romantic love, or one's deep and strong emotional desires to connect with another person intimately or romantically. Historically, the term "romance" originates with the medieval ideal of chivalry as set out in its chivalric romance literature.

Humans have a natural inclination to form bonds with one another through social interactions, be it through verbal communication or nonverbal gestures.

General definitions

The debate over an exact definition of romantic love may be found in literature as well as in the works of psychologists, philosophers, biochemists and other professionals and specialists. Romantic love is a relative term, but generally accepted as a definition that distinguishes moments and situations within intimate relationships to an individual as contributing to a significant relationship connection.

Stay in Love

Stay in Love is the fourth studio album by American singer Minnie Riperton, released under Epic Records. The album features the hit "Young Willing and Able" and the Stevie Wonder collaboration "Stick Together". Unlike her previous works, the soft soul elements here tend to fade, replaced by a more upbeat disco sound which was the musical trend at the time. "Stick Together" peaked at no. 23 on Billboard's Hot Dance Play, an alternate version known as "Stick Together (Part One)" reached no. 57 on the U.S. Hot Black Singles chart.

Stay in Love was Minnie's first disco effort - the only of three disco containing releases that is almost entirely focused on that genre. It was also her last album for Epic Records before signing to Capitol Records. Also, this was her first album since Come to My Garden that didn't feature husband Richard Rudolph as a producer or co-producer, although he still co-wrote all the songs. Instead, the album was produced by veteran Motown producer Freddie Perren. The full title of the album is Stay in Love: A Romantic Fantasy Set to Music.

In Love

"In Love" is a song written by Mike Reid and Bruce Dees, and recorded by American country music artist Ronnie Milsap. It was released in June 1986 as the third single from the album Lost in the Fifties Tonight.

Success and reception

"In Love" was Milsap's 44th single to be released, and his 29th No. 1 hit on the Billboard country charts. The song came during the peak of his success as country music singer as it was part of an uninterrupted string of several No. 1 hits to his credit.

The song was also one of several songs written by songwriter Reid which became major hits for Milsap.

Carey produced the track for Maroon Entertainment and by Cox for Blabby Inc. Copyright is held by Rye Songs which is administered by Songs of Universal (BMI)/W.B.M. Music Corp. O/D/O itself and Songs in the key of B Flat/Noontime South/EMI Foray Music O/B/O itself and Phoenix Ave. Publishing/Christian Combs Publishing (SESAC). The song was recorded by Brian Garten at Stone Groove Studios in New York, and mixed by Phil Tan for Riotproof Productions, Inc. All instrumentation was performed by Cox, while Carey sung all the lead and background vocals. In an interview with Ed Lover for the radio station Power 105 in New York City, Carey revealed that the song was one of her favorites from the album and that she recorded her vocals within a day. Following the commercial underperformance of the album's third single, "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time", "I Stay in Love" was released as the fourth single from E=MC². In the United States, it was serviced to mainstream, rhythmic and urban radio stations on October 28, 2008. A four-track EP consisting of remixes by Jody den Broeder and Ralphi Rosario was released in the United States on December 16, 2008.

Marcus Canty

Marcus Canty (born January 22, 1991) is an American R&B and soul singer and dancer. He finished in fourth place in the first season of The X Factor USA.

Early life

Marcus Canty was born in Washington, D. C. and raised in Landover, Maryland by his single mother, Darlene M. Canty. He attended Columbia Park Elementary School in Landover, Maryland; Hyattsville Middle School, in Hyattsville, Maryland; DeMatha Catholic High School also in Hyattsville, Maryland; and graduated from Montrose Christian School in Rockville, Maryland. He started acting at the age of 3 in church plays and graduated to the big stage in an award winning OneStage production’s play titled, A Family That Prays Together. He didn't tap into his singing talent until the age of 11. His first public performance was at the world-famous Apollo Theater in New York where he won second place against adult and youth contenders. He continued singing in church, school choirs, county and state choirs, while also singing in talent shows and other competitions and events throughout the United States and Canada. While singing was something that came natural to Canty, basketball was his first real love. He began playing the sport at the age of eight and continued to play throughout high school until he was given an ultimatum of basketball or singing. Realizing that he wouldn't be 6'6” tall, singing became his obvious choice, and he is now pursuing his dreams.
