"What is Jokgu?" ("What is the Jokgu" is wrong) -A sport that started in Korea, it is played with a ball and a net. There are four people on each side and you can only use your feet and your head to hit the ball. It is a fusion of soccer and volleyball. -You can play Jokgu anywhere as long as you have a ball, a net, and draw out a court. As of now, there are about five million players in over one hundred countries who are enjoying Jokgu. -Jokgu is a sport that all people of all ages can enjoy and is very easy for anyone to pick up and have fun. But Jokgu is also widely practiced and played in Korea as the nation's number one sport. With over one thousand teams in professional leagues, school leagues, military leagues and Jokgu is sometimes even regarded as Korea's national sport. -Jokgu is also played in America, Canada, South America, and all over the world. As interest in Jokgu grew in America, all the separate teams joined together in 2011 to form a Jokgu league and a door to the world stage was opened. In 2012, Jokgu is being planned for use as a method of missionary outreach in Uganda and there are hopes that it will be spread to other nations as well. -There is very little physical contact in Jokgu so there is little risk of injury and the court is very small. Also, it is a relatively inexpensive sport that uses little equipment as well which increases its wide availability and easy playability.
