Ludhiana. A fire broke out at a Knitwear unit on Bahadurke Road on Saturday morning. Ten employees of the factory who were stuck on the second floor had a narrow escape, as a ladder had to be used as a bridge from an adjacent building to rescue them ... The fire broke out at around 9am ... To escape, the employees had break windows to drain out the smoke ... Another fire incident was reported from a garments shop in Chaura Bazar in the afternoon ... ....
