Here it is guys, My wifes birthday gift to me (I love this chick) So far the browsers ok, not fast, but bearable. I can't watch YouTube ViDs on it but can comment in the channel pages. Gmail works great. The WEP2 security I have set up in the house did sync up and works great. The camera works OK, I have to try it out out side in the day light but does an OK job indoors. I'll make a second part to this vid so you guys can see.

The DSi is a solid upgrade from the DS Lite with the addition of two 0.3 megapixel cameras, a slight increase in screen size, a new SD card reader to store music, audio and more, a new matte finish as well as a case redesign that sheds a bit of thickness, rearranges several of the buttons and removes the Game Boy Advance slot.
I go over many things, such as build quality of the device, a full hardware walkthrough, a demo of several apps on the device including the web browser, Nintendo DSi Shop and both the camera and music applications. In addition I show some gameplay of Pokemon Soul Silver that shows off the graphics of the DSi quite well, sample pictures taken from the onboard cameras and give you my opinion on whether you should buy the DSi, the DSi XL or the upcoming 3DS.

Besides the hype, what is different between the new DSI and the older DS Lite? When it comes down to it, not that much. The DS lite allows online gaming, plays the same games as the DSI (For now), and includes a GBA port. Nintendo DSi
The Nintendo DSi (Japanese: ニンテンドーDSi, Hepburn: Nintendō Dī Esu Ai) is a dual-screen handheld game console released by Nintendo. The console launched in Japan on November 1, 2008, and worldwide beginning in April 2009. It is the third iteration of the Nintendo DS, and its primary market rival is Sony's PlayStation Portable (PSP). The fourth iteration, entitled Nintendo DSi XL, is a larger model that launched in Japan on November 21, 2009, and worldwide beginning in March 2010. Development of the DSi began in late 2006, and the handheld was unveiled during an October 2008 Nintendo conference in Tokyo. Consumer demand convinced Nintendo to produce a slimmer handheld with larger screens than the DS Lite. Consequently, Nintendo removed the Game Boy Advance (GBA) cartridge slot to improve portability without sacrificing durability.
While the DSi's design is similar to that of the DS Lite, it features two digital cameras, supports internal and external content storage, and connects to an online store called the Nintendo DSi Shop. Nintendo stated that families often share DS and DS Lite consoles. Its new functionality was intended to facilitate personalization, so as to encourage each member of a household to purchase a DSi. The handheld supports exclusive physical media in addition to DS games with DSi-specific features and standard DS titles. The only exception to its backward compatibility are earlier DS games that required the GBA slot. Nintendo had sold over 41 million DSi and DSi XL units combined.

After that time, any leftover points already redeemed can be used to download games and apps. Previously purchased content can be redownloaded, unless you didn't backup the save data in data management settings. Stage 2: On March 30, 2017, Nintendo will shut down Nintendo DSi shop completely, at which point you will not be able to access anything within the app. NOTE: The dsi web browser WILL NOT be shut down.
