Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance appoints Subhrajit Mukhopadhyay as chief actuary
Rachel Chitra | TNN | Apr 25, 2016, 05.10 PM ISTCHENNAI: Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance on Monday said it has appointed Subhrajit Mukhopadhyay as its chief actuary, responsible for its actuarial business and controls.
Mukhopadhyay joins Edelweiss Tokio Life from Avantha ERGO Life Insurance as chief actuary, where he was also a part of the executive management group. A fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India, Mukhopadhyay has had stints at Exide Life Insurance, formerly ING Life Insurance, and LIC in various capacities.
"With Subhrajit's addition, Edelweiss Tokio Life will continue to invest in building an industry-leading, but needs-led product bouquet that offers a wide spectrum of solutions for our customers," said Deepak Mittal, MD and CEO, Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance.
