On September 16th, 2015, Downtown Winnipeg Biz hosted a debate for Winnipeg Centre Candidates. Pat Martin, the incumbent Winnipeg Centre MP of 18 years did some pretty strange stuff .
After Don Woodstock, the Green Party candidate said something Mr. Martin disagreed with, Pat called him a son of a bitch. Then the second the CBC camera cut, Mr. Martin then called Don Woodstock a "fucking prick" while elbowing him in the side.
It didn't stop there though! After Pat Martin stepped off stage as the debate closed, a first nations woman went to ask him about Shoal Lake 40 first nation which has been on a boil water advisory for 17 years. Pat must have felt claustrophobic because he yelled "Hey!" at the woman and shoved her to the side according to most
witnesses present. This resulted in an argument in front of the CBC News camera.
Pat Martin had promised before the debate to do an interview with us, but then walked away saying he was done and swearing viciously. We followed him through the building while Pat argued with an NDP supporter who lost faith in Mr. Martin watching his conduct.
We then spoke to Don Woodstock about what had previously occurred.
Pat Martin's conduct was completely inexcusable. He is a public servant and should act that way. Politicians should not see themselves as better than the people who elect them.

On March 14th, 2015 an incredible march took to the streets of Winnipeg against the liberty infringing, police state pushing, so-called anti-terror 'Bill C-51'.
Pat Martin, NDP MP for Winnipeg centre spoke at the rally and Josh Sigurdson got the chance to speak with him as well.
Keep in mind that the NDP supports countless policies that infringe individual liberties and that this subject, due to the obvious insanity behind the bill, is bound to induce demagoguery. It's much like Trudeau one month saying he wanted stiff penalties for marijuana users and then the next month saying he wanted to legalize marijuana. It's all part of the show. Hegelian dialectic. There is a paradigm being created folks. A perfectly horrific script. But what's new?
Still, we must learn to work together on issues we agree on no matter how convenient it is for them. Awareness of a legitimate issue is always more important than the person speaking of it. Let's unite on the issues we agree on and debate with respect and integrity when we don't agree.
In the interview, Pat Martin speaks about what scares him most about the bill, how un-conservative the conservative party really is and how it's lost it's libertarian ideologies. The irony of the NDP wanting smaller government in this case and Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party wanting bigger government was spoken of as well.
"Conservative" Party? No. Neo-con or RINO? Absolutely.

Patrick "Pat" Martin (born December 13, 1955 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian politician. He has been a member of the Canadian House of Commons since 1997, representing the riding of Winnipeg Centre for the New Democratic Party. He is currently Opposition critic for the Canadian Wheat Board.
Martin graduated from Argyle High School in 1974. He worked as a journeyman carpenter for several years, and was employed in forest service, mines and construction. Martin also served as business manager of the Manitoba Carpenters Union from 1989 to 1997, and was vice-president of the Manitoba Federation of Labour for a time. He has been a member of the executive of the Manitoba Building Trades Council, and was part of the Winnipeg 2000 Economic Development Committee.[citation needed]
Martin was first elected to the Canadian House of Commons in the 1997 federal election, defeating Liberal incumbent David Walker by a margin of 10,979 votes to 9,895. His riding of Winnipeg Centre, formerly known as Winnipeg North Centre, was successively represented from 1921 to 1984 by J.S. Woodsworth and Stanley Knowles, two of the most prominent social democratic politicians in Canadian history. Martin's victory over Walker returned the riding to the NDP for the first time since 1988.[citation needed] Martin was re-elected in the 2000 federal election, defeating Liberal Kevin Lamoureux by 11,263 votes to 9,310. He increased his margin of victory in the 2004 election, defeating Liberal candidate David Northcott by about 3,000 votes.

Gary Numan (born Gary Anthony James Webb on 8 March 1958) is an English singer, composer, and musician, most widely known for his chart-topping 1979 hits "Are 'Friends' Electric?" (as Tubeway Army) and "Cars". His signature sound consisted of heavy synthesiser hooks fed through guitar effects pedals.
Numan is considered a pioneer of commercial electronic music. His use of themes from science fiction, and his combination of aggressive punk energy with electronics, have been widely imitated.
Born in Hammersmith, Gary Anthony James Webb was the son of a British Airways bus driver based at Heathrow Airport. Webb was educated at Town Farm Junior School Stanwell, Ashford County Grammar School, Middlesex, Slough Grammar School and Brooklands Technical College. He joined the Air Training Corps as a teenager. He then briefly did various jobs including fork lift truck driver, air conditioning ventilator fitter and clerk in an accounts department. A guitar was purchased for him at an early age and he began writing songs when he was about 15 years old. He played in various bands, including Mean Street and The Lasers, before forming Tubeway Army with his uncle, Jess Lidyard, and Paul Gardiner. His initial pseudonym was "Valerian", probably in reference to the hero in French science fiction comic series Valérian and Laureline. Later he picked the name "Numan" from an advert in the "Yellow Pages" for a plumber "A. Neumann".

New Democrat MP Pat Martin is standing by an expletive-laced expression of anger and frustration on Twitter Wednesday night, saying even politicians are allowed to vent. Martin lost his cool on Twitter while the Conservative-dominated House of Commons voted to shut down debate on the federal budget bill. "This is a f------ disgrace...closure again. And on the Budget! There's not a democracy in the world that would tolerate this jackboot sh--," Martin tweeted. He followed up with another comment asking "In these uncertain economic times, don't you think our parliament should be debating our federal budget? Some due diligence?" On Thursday, he appeared on CTV's National Affairs and said he stood by his tweet, because it properly expressed his frustration. "This has been a pattern about this Parliament and I'm getting very frustrated frankly at being forced to curtail debate once again and I did Twitter in frustration," the Winnipeg MP said. But the initial Tweet wasn't all, he said. Martin went on to tell off followers who criticized his post, telling one person to "F--- off" and directing the Bart Simpson-coined expression "Eat my shorts" at another. Then on Thursday, when the Twittersphere began to question whether Martin's account had been hacked, he unabashedly owned up to posting the tweets. "Nope. Not hacked. Just truly pissed off...you should have seen them last night laughing and joking in their smug ignorance," he explained on Twitter, referring to Conservative MPs' behaviour in Commons. The Winnipeg MP also declined to delete the Tweet, and refused to apologize for what he called a sincere response to extraordinary circumstances. Martin said while the NDP is sticking to a polite protocol in Parliament, etiquette on Twitter is still "evolving" and he's actually been getting positive feedback. "A lot of people say it's rather refreashing to hear a politician speak their mind and not stick to their talking points," he said. NDP interim leader Nycole Turmel said in a statement emailed to CTVNews.ca that the fiery language was out of line, but provoked by a legitimate frustration. "His language was not appropriate and could have been offensive to some," Turmel said in the statement. "That said, the Conservatives' actions are not appropriate in a democracy and offensive to all Canadians." -

He and about 60 other people sat through a presentation called Time Wasters--all about fun assistive technology. MP Pat Martin Swears, Allegedly Shoves Woman, Gets Confronted & Runs From Questions! Must See!
On September 16th, 2015, Downtown Winnipeg Biz hosted a debate for Winnipeg Centre Candidates. Pat Martin, the incumbent Winnipeg Centre MP of 18 years did some pretty strange stuff . After Don Woodstock, the Green Party candidate said something Mr. Martin disagreed with, Pat called him a son of a bitch. Then the second the CBC camera cut, Mr. Martin then called Don Woodstock a "fucking prick" while elbowing him in the side. It didn't stop there though! On September 16th, 2015, Downtown Winnipeg Biz hosted a debate for Winnipeg Centre Candidates. Pat Martin, the incumbent Winnipeg Centre MP of 18 years did some pretty strange stuff .
After Don Woodstock, the Green Party candidate said something Mr. Martin disagreed with, Pat called him a son of a bitch. Then the second the CBC camera cut, Mr. Martin then called Don Woodstock a "fucking prick" while elbowing him in the side.
It didn't stop there though! After Pat Martin stepped off stage as the debate closed, a first nations woman went to ask him about Shoal Lake 40 first nation which has been on a boil water advisory for 17 years. Pat must have felt claustrophobic because he yelled "Hey!" at the woman and shoved her to the side according to most
witnesses present. This resulted in an argument in front of the CBC News camera.
Pat Martin had promised before the debate to do an interview with us, but then walked away saying he was done and swearing viciously. We followed him through the building while Pat argued with an NDP supporter who lost faith in Mr. Martin watching his conduct.
We then spoke to Don Woodstock about what had previously occurred.
Pat Martin's conduct was completely inexcusable. He is a public servant and should act that way. Politicians should not see themselves as better than the people who elect them.

Pat Martin, NDP MP for Winnipeg centre spoke at the rally and Josh Sigurdson got the chance to speak with him as well.
Keep in mind that the NDP supports countless policies that infringe individual liberties and that this subject, due to the obvious insanity behind the bill, is bound to induce demagoguery. It's much like Trudeau one month saying he wanted stiff penalties for marijuana users and then the next month saying he wanted to legalize marijuana. It's all part of the show. Hegelian dialectic. There is a paradigm being created folks. A perfectly horrific script. But what's new?
Still, we must learn to work together on issues we agree on no matter how convenient it is for them. Awareness of a legitimate issue is always more important than the person speaking of it. Let's unite on the issues we agree on and debate with respect and integrity when we don't agree.
In the interview, Pat Martin speaks about what scares him most about the bill, how un-conservative the conservative party really is and how it's lost it's libertarian ideologies. New Democrat MP Pat Martin is standing by an expletive-laced expression of anger and frustration on Twitter Wednesday night, saying even politicians are allowed to vent.
Martin lost his cool on Twitter while the Conservative-dominated House of Commons voted to shut down debate on the federal budget bill.
"This is a f------ disgrace...closure again. And on the Budget! There's not a democracy in the world that would tolerate this jackboot sh--," Martin tweeted.
He followed up with another comment asking "In these uncertain economic times, don't you think our parliament should be debating our federal budget? Some due diligence?"
On Thursday, he appeared on CTV's National Affairs and said he stood by his tweet, because it properly expressed his frustration.
"This has been a pattern about this Parliament and I'm getting very frustrated frankly at being forced to curtail debate once again and I did Twitter in frustration," the Winnipeg MP said.
But the initial Tweet wasn't all, he said. Martin went on to tell off followers who criticized his post, telling one person to "F--- off" and directing the Bart Simpson-coined expression "Eat my shorts" at another.
Then on Thursday, when the Twittersphere began to question whether Martin's account had been hacked, he unabashedly owned up to posting the tweets.
"Nope. Not hacked. Just truly pissed off...you should have seen them last night laughing and joking in their smug ignorance," he explained on Twitter, referring to Conservative MPs' behaviour in Commons.
The Winnipeg MP also declined to delete the Tweet, and refused to apologize for what he called a sincere response to extraordinary circumstances.
Martin said while the NDP is sticking to a polite protocol in Parliament, etiquette on Twitter is still "evolving" and he's actually been getting positive feedback.
"A lot of people say it's rather refreashing to hear a politician speak their mind and not stick to their talking points," he said.
NDP interim leader Nycole Turmel said in a statement emailed to CTVNews.ca that the fiery language was out of line, but provoked by a legitimate frustration.
"His language was not appropriate and could have been offensive to some," Turmel said in the statement. "That said, the Conservatives' actions are not appropriate in a democracy and offensive to all Canadians."
