El Nido Palawan Vacation - 3DR Solo - GoPro HD
We finally made it to El Nido, and boy did we love it. El Nido in Palawan is now are most favorite place in the Philippines. The nature scenery is breathtaking. It is a touristy area however, it is very easy to find alone time on El Nido. The local people in El Nido are the best as well. Definitely an island that I will go back to one day, and hopefully soon.

In March 2015, we met up with 7 of our close friends in El Nido, Palawan, The Philippines. It was a week of non stop fun, action and laughs. We went on Tour A, B & C, including our favorite stop, Snake Island. We rode motorbikes to Nacpan Beach where we had the beach in front of Catian Beach Restaurant to ourselves, and ate one of our favorite meals from the trip. We hung out on the beach at Marimegmeg Beach, and dropped our jaws while watching the most vivid sunset any of us had ever seen at Republica Sunset Bar in Corong Corong. We partied all night long on Cadlao Island during a camping trip, while discovering that Tanduay Mojito tastes like mouthwash. The visibility during our scuba dives with Submariner wasn't the best, but the amazing snorkeling we found elsewhere made up for it.

Looking for the most beautiful beach in the world? Nacpan beach in Palawan Philippines easily takes the cake. We visited it the year before and we were excited to see very little had changed. There are few beaches that offer such beauty and privacy, but just take my word for it, don't go visit it please.

Palawan bearded pig
The Palawan bearded pig (Sus ahoenobarbus) is a species of in the pig genus (Sus) endemic to the Philippines, where it can only be found on the archipelago of islands formed by Balabac, Palawan, and the Calamian Islands. They are 1 to 1.6 metres (3.3 to 5.2 ft) in length, about 1 metre (3.3 ft) tall and weigh up to 150 kilograms (330 lb).
Until recently, it was considered a subspecies of the Bornean bearded pig (Sus barbatus), but at least under the phylogenetic species concept, it must be classified as a separate species. For its treatment under other (and more widely used) species concepts, more study is required, but the presently available information seems to argue for full species status in any case.

Palawan
Palawan (Pron. /pəˈlɑːwən/, from Tagalog pronunciation: [paˈlawan]), officially the Province of Palawan (Filipino: Lalawigan ng Palawan), is an island province of the Philippines that is located in the MIMAROPA region. It is the largest province in the country in terms of total area of jurisdiction. Its capital is Puerto Princesa City, but it is governed independently from the province.
The islands of Palawan stretch between Mindoro in the northeast and Borneo in the southwest. It lies between the South China Sea and the Sulu Sea. The province is named after its largest island, Palawan Island (09°30′N 118°30′E / 9.500°N 118.500°E / 9.500; 118.500), measuring 450 kilometres (280 mi) long, and 50 kilometres (31 mi) wide.
Geography
Palawan is composed of the long and narrow Palawan Island, plus a number of other smaller islands surrounding the main island. The Calamianes Group of Islands to the Northeast consists of Busuanga Island, Coron Island and Culion Island. Durangan Island (Dulangan) almost touches the westernmost part of Palawan Island, while Balabac Island is located off the southern tip, separated from Borneo by the Balabac Strait. In addition, Palawan covers the Cuyo Islands in the Sulu Sea. The disputed Spratly Islands, located a few hundred kilometres to the west, are considered part of Palawan by the Philippines, and is locally called the "Kalayaan Group of Islands".

In March 2015, we met up with 7 of our close friends in El Nido, Palawan, The Philippines. It was a week of non stop fun, action and laughs. We went on Tour A, B & C, including our favorite stop, Snake Island. We rode motorbikes to Nacpan Beach where we had the beach in front of Catian Beach Restaurant to ourselves, and ate one of our favorite meals from the trip. We hung out on the beach at Marimegmeg Beach, and dropped our jaws while watching the most vivid sunset any of us had ever seen at Republica Sunset Bar in Corong Corong. We partied all night long on Cadlao Island during a camping trip, while discovering that Tanduay Mojito tastes like mouthwash. The visibility during our scuba dives with Submariner wasn't the best, but the amazing snorkeling we found elsewhere made up for it. In March 2015, we met up with 7 of our close friends in El Nido, Palawan, The Philippines. It was a week of non stop fun, action and laughs. We went on Tour A, ...
In March 2015, we met up with 7 of our close friends in El Nido, Palawan, The Philippines. It was a week of non stop fun, action and laughs. We went on Tour A, B & C, including our favorite stop, Snake Island. We rode motorbikes to Nacpan Beach where we had the beach in front of Catian Beach Restaurant to ourselves, and ate one of our favorite meals from the trip. We hung out on the beach at Marimegmeg Beach, and dropped our jaws while watching the most vivid sunset any of us had ever seen at Republica Sunset Bar in Corong Corong. We partied all night long on Cadlao Island during a camping trip, while discovering that Tanduay Mojito tastes like mouthwash. The visibility during our scuba dives with Submariner wasn't the best, but the amazing snorkeling we found elsewhere made up for it.
Compiled with footage from 5 cameras: GoPro Hero 3, GoPro Hero 3+ x 2 , iPhone 6, Lumix Point & Shoot. Snake River Prototyping Red & Macro Filters when underwater.
