The day is here and I couldn't be more stoked right now. When I first announced I had a new single coming out and released the track title, SO many of you were so curious about why it was called 180.... I saw so many tweets and comments about what it could be about and what 180 meant and stood for so I wanna let you know how this concept came to mind.... As you guys know, I love to write my music based on things that touch me or that I personally experience in my life. 180 is a song I wrote about being in a relationship with someone where you`re not getting what you need from the other person in the relationship... no matter how hard you try to make it work or how bad you want it to work, you`re just not getting what you need back from your partner in the relationship. This is a song I wrote about taking the relationship into your own hands and having the courage to make that 180 turn and leave in order to do whats right for you. When you`re in a relationship, its so important that your partner makes you feel like you have worth. You want your partner to make you feel loved and pretty and respected and cared for and you want to know that your partner couldn't imagine living life without you. When you know that your partner is not feeling that way and you know theres no way to mend whats been broken, this song is about making the decision to make that 180 turn. Even though its hard, its whats best for you. I also want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing love to all of my original music over the last 6 months. I released my first single that represents my new sound in September of 2015 and over these last few months, I feel like we`ve opened a brand new door together. The amount of love you showed my last two singles "Royalty" and "Kicked a Girl" and they way you embraced them and accepted my fresh new sound blew my mind and I feel so blessed to have you from the start on this journey with me. Now "180" is officially here and I want to thank you so so so much for counting down with me and leaving me the sweetest comments and helping me share it and spread the world. Thank you SO much.
