There are a very few times I see this train running bang on time. 21st September 2014, I was at Bhilai Power House and I was amazed to see it running bang on time :P But this time it was something different. The regular locomotive link for this puny load of 9 coaches of 58530 Vishakhapatnam - Durg Passenger is a VSKP WDM-3A/DG-3A. But this time it was a surprising link of Vishakhapatnam VSKP WDM-3D # 11513 locomotive with such a beautiful logo of VSKP DLS in front of it. Seen here is the entry of VSKP WDM-3D # 11513 with 9 coach load of 58530 VSKP-DURG Waltair Passenger as well as the departure of the same. Camera: Sony CX-240E Time: 12:25hrs
This video presents an account of my journey from Howrah to Vizag in the Falaknuma Express. I undertook this journey on October 1, 2015. Falaknuma, with her usual Santragachhi link till Vizag, enjoyed a decent run till Cuttack after which it got delayed. So what was a timely departure from Howrah ended up being a 45 mins delayed arrival at Vizag. Enjoy the handful of crossings en route of both ICF and LHB class of trains. I missed the Bhubaneshwar Rajdhani at Bhadrak owing to a freight. Also featured are Rivers Brahmani and the majestic Mahanadi among others. Don't miss the grand and humongous Chilka lake that appears a blue lagoon at sunset and obviously the sunset itself; presenting us with quite a sight to behold post Berhampur. This journey was a start of a 4 day trip to Jagdalpu...
