Probando la Beta de Battlefield 1 con una msi gtx 570 twin frozr 3 del año 2011, para que vean que aun esta gpu puede seguir rindiendo mucho en juegos actuales y si nvidia aun tuviera soporte para las gpus antiguas rendiria mucho mas.
Las temperaturas tanto de cpu como de gpu son elevadas debido al calor de el ambiente de mi pueblo que ronda sobre los 35 grados con 60% de humedad.

Simple benchmark and graphics comparison of Rise of the Tomb Raider on outdated hardware...
Recommended settings are shown at the end of the video as a guide to use with similar hardware...
*When testing each individual setting like shadows or textures, all other settings were set to Medium, and the resolution was set to 1080p...
I'm happy to say this game doesn't play as bad as i thought it would... The vanilla version was unoptimized and very demanding, however the latest patch improved things a little bit, altough i reckon there's still a lot to be done... Even if there are occasional dips here and there, the overal performance is quite acceptable...
Using anything above Medium is going to kill framerate and stability because both settings need lots of gpu power and vram.. So if you wish to keep things stable, i recommend using medium settings.... TressFX (Purehair) also has a great impact on framerate, specialy during cutscenes, however, the coding was improved.. It's much better now than it was before when the technology was first presented in the original Tomb Raider reboot....

Probando la Beta de Battlefield 1 con una msi gtx 570 twin frozr 3 del año 2011, para que vean que aun esta gpu puede seguir rindiendo mucho en juegos actuales y si nvidia aun tuviera soporte para las gpus antiguas rendiria mucho mas.
Las temperaturas tanto de cpu como de gpu son elevadas debido al calor de el ambiente de mi pueblo que ronda sobre los 35 grados con 60% de humedad.

*When testing each individual setting like shadows or textures, all other settings were set to Medium, and the resolution was set to 1080p...
I'm happy to say this game doesn't play as bad as i thought it would... The vanilla version was unoptimized and very demanding, however the latest patch improved things a little bit, altough i reckon there's still a lot to be done... Even if there are occasional dips here and there, the overal performance is quite acceptable...
Using anything above Medium is going to kill framerate and stability because both settings need lots of gpu power and vram.. So if you wish to keep things stable, i recommend using medium settings.... TressFX (Purehair) also has a great impact on framerate, specialy during cutscenes, however, the coding was improved.. It's much better now than it was before when the technology was first presented in the original Tomb Raider reboot....

GTX 570 vs 770 vs 1080 (Every 2nd GPU Generation).
I was planning to get a 1070 which would have made this video more relevant but I ended up getting the 1080. Either-way I have a huge CPU bottleneck on this system making my 1080 perform nearer to a 1070 so it might be a fair comparison. I also included some CPU bottlenecked games like Arma 3 and CS just so show a new GPU doesn't always mean a better gaming experience. System: i7-2600 at 3.4-3.8ghz 16gb 1600mhz DDR3 RAM Always latest driver for the respective cards. Win 10 All settings same across tests. I can OC my cpu to 4.2ghz, might retest some games on the 1080 with that.

Either-way I have a huge CPU bottleneck on this system making my 1080 perform nearer to a 1070 so it might be a fair comparison.
I also included some CPU bottlenecked games like Arma 3 and CS just so show a new GPU doesn't always mean a better gaming experience.

16gb 1600mhz DDR3 RAM
Always latest driver for the respective cards.
Win 10
All settings same across tests.
I can OC my cpu to 4.2ghz, might retest some games on the 1080 with that.

I'm going to be more careful about that from now on.... Simple benchmark and graphics comparison of Grand Theft Auto V on outdated hardware... *When testing each individual setting like shadows or grass, all other settings were set to the game default, and the resolution was set to 1080p... I'm happy to say that this game plays quite well even on such old hardware... Rockstar Games outdid themselves one more time... Grand Theft Auto V isn't just more of the same.. Simple benchmark and graphics comparison of Grand Theft Auto V on outdated hardware...
*When testing each individual setting like shadows or grass, all other settings were set to the game default, and the resolution was set to 1080p...
I'm happy to say that this game plays quite well even on such old hardware... Rockstar Games outdid themselves one more time... Grand Theft Auto V isn't just more of the same.. GTA V is a gigantic, beautiful, mastercrafted masterpiece! And one of the most optimized games i have ever had the pleasure of playing on pc...
